• Generic applications Java runs only within Jdeveloper, not at the command line

  I created a Java program which is autonomous - to be called via Unix scripting. I just chose Generic Application and adds the scope of Java and XML technology. I also have a POT that is provided by a 3rd party to be used as an API.
  
  When it is run through Jdeveloper (for example to do a right-click on the java class and choose run), the program works very well.
  
  When run via command line after the deployment of the application as a JAR, I get the following:

  He complains about my line by calling the Auth class, which is part of the JAR provided me by the 3rd party. But he runs the successful when run in Jdeveloper.
  
  The JAR is included as a dependency when you deploy the project.
  
  Ideas?

  If you want to include the 3rd pot of party in the jar that you produce then you must go into your deployment profile and create a new type library file group, and then select the JAR file in the contributors section.

• The gateway configuration GemFire 7.0.1 via Java APIs is unable to successfully deploy

  Jeff,

  I appreciate you are trying to help.  I expect to have a setting that I forgot.  Your suggestions were valid and I have test again each of these this morning.  I think I've identified the problem and it isn't really a problem code, setting issue or a question of GemFire. I think that our network of local offices has a particular configuration that affects GemFire in a unique way.

  In my test, I used localhost as the address for locators and remote control-locators.  I changed to be my explicit hostname and I do not see the error longer.  I am able to inspect bridges via gfsh and start them.  FYI: I witnessed a different symptom with the new product of the pulse.  When you try to deploy the war impulse locally I be watching only partial functionality.  The application of impulse load but could not inspect the data nodes, but I could see the locators.  I played with each of the possible combinations (ip address, host name, localhost, qualified domain host name) and the only way I could solve the problem of the impulse was to use the host name.  It smells the same number of local network.

  I'm working on a Windows desktop computer and use an active Windows with DHCP domain controller.  Production deployment is on RHEL and should not encounter these problems.

• Impossible to deploy - null

  I use Jdev 11.1.1.3. I was able to deploy and run pages ADF - BC in the past. This particular application I'm working on right now does not deploy. Now, I was able to deploy and run successfully before. But I made some changes to to the jsff and now I get the following error message when you try to run it. Compilation yields without errors or warnings.
  I looked through forums similar and deleted the DefaultDomain and then created a new App Server browser. Still no effect. I restarted my Jdev and what you see below is LITERALLY all the message I received. Still no info there.
  Now I'm able to run other applications that have been recorded on the same track (different folder of course).

  See if the following will help:

  (1) remove the locking WLS file - you can find it in the %JDEV_USER_DIR%\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain and are called edit.lok
  (2) cancel the deployment manually all the applications deployed in %JDEV_USER_DIR%\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\o.j2ee\drs - simply remove all directories
  (3) remove all MDS customizations saved in %JDEV_USER_DIR%\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\o.mds.dt\adrs - once again, just remove all directories
  (4) deletes all temporary files in %JDEV_USER_DIR%\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\tmp

  Do these when you leave of JDeveloper. % JDEV_USER_DIR % is the location of the user JDeveloper - C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Application Data\JDeveloper settings in your case.

  If this fails to solve the problem, you can completely remove the directory % JDEV_USER_DIR. JDeveloper re - create next time around.

• Impossible to deploy 11.0.03 on the 11.0.02

  As I have done for the past year and a bit since management deployment Flash/Reader etc. here, I tried the 11.0.03 deployment starting yesterday. Follow the same procedure that I always have that so far has not failed to work: download the offline install from the link provided when I signed, extract the MSI file, create an AIP, patching the MSI file, create my transformation using Customization Wizard, begin testing. However, this latest version fails. I thought that maybe I had a corrupted download, went through all the previous steps 2 times more. I constantly get an erro 1638: another version of this product is already installed. Yes, another version is... 11.0.02. y at - there some problem with this version where it is unable to install over the previous XI player installed and needs a clean install? I ran successfully it no drivers during the installation and Reader X.

  How do you create the AIP for 11.0.03. You must create the AIP for 11.0 and then patch updated the agreement in principle with 11.0.03 to create the AIP for 11.0.03

  3. now, create AIP for 11.0.03, because that's all first go to C:\Test123

  > cd C:\Test123

  > msiexec /a AcroRead.msi /p C:\extract\AdbeRdrUpd11003.msp TARGETDIR = "C:\Test123."

  Now, the C:\Test123 contains 11.0.03 Reader AIP

  4. create your changes (if necessary)

  5. apply the patch with this command, having sailed to C:\Test123

  This way you can install the AIP 11.0.03 on any installation AIP existing player (it doesn't have to be a clean OS)

  Something else to help you achieve, you will not be able to use CS5.5 update the application you already in the App Store. Apple rules prohibit you to drop support for a device when you perform an update. You can use CS5.5 for the manufacture of new applications to submit, but you do have to use CS5 (or PFI from the command line) during updates of the existing application.

  If so, open it > is there a uninstaller.exe file here?
  If so, open it and let go about uninstalling.

  When you run a command, Windows will search in a series of directories for this program to run. The list of directories is stored in what is called an environment variable. You must add the path to the bin of the sdk at this variable directory (e.g. C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.3\bin).

  You can access the path variable by right-clicking on my computer > properties. Select the Advanced tab and click on approx. Variables.

  Under System Variables, search PATH and edit it. Add the path to the sdk bin directory (make sure that there is a semicolon, that separates the directories).

  Open a command line window in the directory where your .bar file. When you run the command, Windows will look for blackberry - deploy and can be found in the directory that you have added to your PATH variable so to run it.

  I want to integrate continues an Oracle DB so I will need to:

  • Compare a target DB with DB objects defined in a project database offline
  • Generate a DIFF of this comparison script
  • Run the DIFF script on the target DB

  My goal is to automate these steps through some sort of command line tool.

  No data is involved. Just DB objects like tables (structure only), types, procedures, etc.

  If this is not possible, is there another continuously integrate Oracle DB of a predefined template? Something like DACPAC for MSSQL, but for Oracle DB?
