JDeveloper to weblogic connection

When you try to configure an application of jdev to weblogic server when I test the connection, I get the following error.
Failed to instantiate class weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
I put the weblogic.jar in my classpath, as well as on the jdev installation section. I am using weblogic 9.2 and jdev10g and 11 g.

Copy the \server\lib\weblogic.jar in the \jdev\lib\ext directory.

  • Please help me on the jdeveloper to weblogic application deployment

At the beginning I just thought after developing an adf application then just deploy as an .ear file and deploy it in the weblogic console and everything will be ok. But actually I had a lot of problems. Then I had a tutorial for it and I do what he says step by step, but some new problems occurred. This is the tutorial I mentioned: [how-to: ADF Deployment Guide | http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jdeveloper/howto/11114/managedserver/wlsadfms.htm]

Now, could someone tell how did deploy your adf application?

Here are the errors I got.

It's the packege of installation and the operating system I use:
    1. 6.3_x64 + jdeveloper11123.jar(include wls10.3.5) + adr centOS (the package name is ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip) [and earlier, I used a solaris11 of oracle vm and install jdeveloper11.1.2.3, the same probem occurred as CentOS.]
    2 Win7_x64 + jdeveoper11123.exe(include wls10.3.5) + adr mentioned above

Here are the problems I get:
in case 1, after that I installed the jdeveloper (using the sun jdk 1.7), the weblogic seems to be fine but I na not configure a domain. But after I opened a
request (which I get from the oracle jdeveloper tutorial demo, which works well in my Win7 env) and I run it, the integrated weblogic can not get
has started. First in the console it says identifier jrocket - is not recognized, then I edit the setDomainEnv.sh and the startWebLogic.sh file in the
integrated wls area (that of the Director of .jdeveloper) to assign to the variable JAVA_VM - server. After that another problem emerged: when the
WLS goes to the 'start-up' status, it is blocked and I turn to System Monitor shows only a thread of java using more than 1 GB of memory in my system
and occupy 150% of my cpu (it's a dual-core computer). I wait about 5 minutes, when an error came up said "PermSize is too small".so I change the
setDomainEnv.sh file to set the PermSize be 1024 m and MaxPermSize to 2048. (the name of the variable is something like that, maybe not the)
exactly on time. "I think you can understand that one is). But the problem is still there.

then in 2 cases in the first place the jdev and integrated wls works fine, but when I deploy an application that works well in one ear of the file, and then deploy it to a
WLS (10.3.5) autonomous it never Works.the dumb mistake is something libraries of reference/dependencies was not found. Then I tried again a server connection to
the autonomous wls and I got the tutorial [how_to_deploy_adf | http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jdeveloper/howto/11114/managedserver/wlsadfms.html], as the tutorial says I my standalone patch
WLS with adr and everything is fine, no error reported. Then I tried the new server in the new slot machine the adminserver management and apply the
the ADF model in him will overload / console em. But after I restarted the new server (by the console, and then by file stop + startweblogic.bat) the server is running
the application in the new server is just 'not available '. I tried for three times in three computer, two of them are running win7, it runs Windows XP.

I don't know what the problem is and I'm quite a beginner on this subject. Someone help me please. Thank you very much!

    respect, Neo.

    Neo,
There are a few problems. First of all, jdev comes with its own jdk provided in the product (jdk 1.6_x). The next thing is that if you use JDev 11.1.2.3.0 to build an application you must use a wls 10.3.5 and 10.3.6 where you need to install the appropriate on runtime. In your case, you first install adf runtime 11.1.1.6.0 and then you need to install two patches that update the adf to 11.1.2.3.0 life. These husks are only available through support.oracle.com, which means that you need a support contract to get.
More information you can find in my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/09/14/jdeveloper-versions-vs-weblogic-server-versions/
The rest of your problems disappear once you have installed the adf right on your server runtime.

  • JDeveloper integrated WebLogic Server consumes large amounts of memory

    Hello

    Fusion Middleware Version: 11.1.1.7

    WebLogic: 10.3.6.0

    JDeveloper Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.7.0_GENERIC_130226.1400.6493

    JDK: Sun JVM (1.6) 64-bit

O/s on the Machine running JDeveloper: Windows XP 64-bit

Memory on the Machine running JDeveloper: 8GB

I use the following settings in the my WLS integrated setDomainEnv.cmd file to manage the size of heap.

    -Xms256m-Xmx1024m - XX: CompileThreshold = 8000 - XX: PermSize = 256 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m

Run a page simple jspx containing ADF task flows results in use of heap around 400 MB when listening via jconsole.  After completing the re-execution of the page (right click-> run) the memory used by java process continues to grow, but the use of heap does not change.  Although the definition of a maximum segment size of 1 GB, the java process regularly consume more than 2 GB of memory on the computer when monitored via the Task Manager.

When the java process memory arrives at this size it is not possible to stop the WLS integrated with JDeveloper, the terminate function is simply suspended, and the java process must be killed in Task Manager.  In addition this behavior causes high memory virtual page files accumulate on the machine (> 5 GB) that finally kills performance.

Can anyone offer an overview of this behavior?

The Sun HotSpot JVM memory is split into 3 areas of memory (Java Heap, heap and native heap PermGen):

Java Heap space - HotSpot VM ~ models Support of Java EE

"PermGen" means 'Permanent Generation', which comes from the fact that this segment is never garbage collected (i.e. the memory of objects created in this heap Java never came out). The JVM creates one objects that should not die, for example instances of class and class method. Every time that you run the application, a new instance of the Web application is deployed on the server. Each new instance of the application has its own class loader, which causes the JVM create new instances of the class class and method in the PermGen space. As has been said, the segment memory PermGen is never garbage collected, so the memory occupied by instances of class and method of the previous application instance is not released. If you redeploy (for example, execution of JDev) a large number of times, the PermGen space will get finally out of memory and the application server hangs.

    -Xms256m-Xmx1024m - XX: PermSize = 256 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m

Although the definition of a maximum segment size of 1 GB, the java process regularly consume more than 2 GB of memory on the computer when monitored via the Task Manager.

You have specified a lot of Java 1 GB, but there are also a bunch of PermGen separated from 512 MB. Also the JVM consumes little native memory for the native heap, and the process of the JVM itself needs some native memory to launch and run. All this had formed the value of 2 GB that you saw in the Manager of tasks of your machine.

  • JDeveloper and WebLogic

Also, when I run something in JDeveloper (11.1.1.7.0) I get:

The Server Instance cannot start because the integrated Weblogic domain has not been built successfully.

All the research that I find pointing me to setting up your development environment - the 11g Release 1 (11.1.3)

The links provide information about how to configure the environment for jdev.

As you have already tried to create the wls integrated, you must first delete (delete the DefaultDomain file in the system11.x.x.x folder). Then try again. If you still get an error message, the error message that you get in the log window.

You try to run on jdk 1.7 or 1.6?

Please help how I can solve it.

    Kind regards
    Shakur

First of all, to avoid the UnsatisfiedLinkError you must make sure that the path to the shared library (.dll/.so) is included in your PATH environment variable.

Secondly, no it does not change the JDev behavior.

  • Exceeded WebLogic connection pool

    Greetings

I'm having a problem with the programmatic view objects that use all the available connections in the connection of weblogic pool.

In Weblogic, there are 2 datasources, so I can't use getDBTransaction (or, if I may, I would like to know how).

Each VO uses only one of the data sources and I'm getting the connection like this:

    CTX = new world;
    DS = ctx.lookup("SMS") (javax.sql.DataSource);
    o_conn = ds.getConnection ();

I do not o_conn.close () anywhere because, if I do this, when you view the contents of the page, there is an error of "Recordset already closed."

I tried to have the o_conn as a local variable to the method retrieveRefCursor, as a global variable of VO, tried to close in releaseUserDataForCollection, but I had no luck.

Where can I explicitly to close the connection?
Or should I rely only on the GarbageCollection?

I read somewhere that JRockit garbage should be the case, but the developer next to me who has tried without success.

Can someone help me on this? Any info that you need, I can give you, as a configuration of Weblogic, more code, etc.

    Best regards
    Daniel

    Daniel,

Each Module of the Application can be configured to use any data source you like. So, maybe what you want to do is create another AM and add your specific vo in this report, you can use getDBTransaction().

  • Can not connect to App - Weblogic Server 10.3 Jdeveloper 10.1.3.5

    Hi friends,

I'm trying to connect 10.1.3.5 JDeveloper to WebLogic 10.3 Server.

    I am facing some problems.

I used JDeveloper 11 g to do the same thing and it worked.

I found that JDeveloepr 10.1.3.5 isn't any Assistant for Weblogic 10.3 connection, all the available wizards are
    for the version server 10.1.X.

So please tell me if it is possible to do.

The reason why I'm doing this is because I can't create composite applications, that my project only works with projects of the BSE.

As I am new to Oracle SOA suite, I downloaded accidentally JDeveloper 11 g and SOA Suite 11 g etc.

But I found that JDEveloper 11 g cannot create projects of BSE, it can only create composite projects.

So I downloaded JDeveloper 10.1.3.5. So please help me configure the IDE with the Weblogic Server I.

If it is not possible, please suggest that the App Server and version of OSB should I install.

    Thanks in advance.

You use Jdeveloper 11 for WebLogic server 10.3.

Projects of the BSE are now called mediator within a composite application. If you create the composite application and then insert a mediator object. When you open the mediator object, you get the old style 10g ESB project.

  • Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

    Hello

Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

We migrated BPEL 10g and 11g. I understand that this integrated weblogic server is part of jdeveloper.

Integration of weblogic server allows successful simulation of the weblogic Server real 11g which we installed as a separate product?

or should we connect jdeveloper to weblogic server 11g instead of the integrated weblogic Server?

    Please notify.

    Thank you

No, built-in weblogic server is not necessary in jdeveloper for bpel upgrade.

If you are migrating bpel go separate domain and weblogic/managed servers, don't use integrated weblogic.

  • JDeveloper + WebLogic: Deployment problem

    Greetings,

I am new to Oracle and JDeveloper and I develop an application (webservice) using Oracle 11 g as a database. I use to develop the webservice Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.0.1 JDeveloper and WebLogic application server.

Everything worked fine until yesterday, when for unknown reasons, that I could no longer use SQLDeveloper to connect to the Oracle database. Searching the Web I found a possible solution which was to install a loopback adapter. I did it and it worked, I could connect again using SQLDeveloper or JDBC.

The problem is that now I'm not able to deploy applications in JDeveloper to WebLogic.

I don't know if this is related to the loopback adapter, but it was the only thing I changed. It does not resemble a WebLogic problem because I can start the server outside of JDeveloper, access the console (although not of [http://localhost:7001 / console,] if I use [http://127.0.0.1:7101 / console] or [http://mycomputername:7101 / console]). It indicates that the server is running "OK".

However, if I use JDeveloper to 'Test Web Service' (as I used to), it takes a long time for the server start (3-4 minutes compared with less than a minute before), with the following log:

    -----

And the webservice Tester does not, probably because the application was deployed for ever.

Anyone has any ideas on what could be bad?

    Thank you in advance,

First exception is java.net.ConnectException: t3://127.0.0.1:7101: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:

java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect. No router available at destination

  • deploy of JDeveloper 11.1.2.3 on Weblogic Server 12.1.2.0

I'm deploying 11.1.2.3 JDeveloper to Weblogic Server 12.1.2 but nothing hapend.

is it posible to do it?

My weblogic server working on Oracle Linux 6.5 and my Jdevelper is installed in Windows 7.

NO, in general it is not possible. 11.1.2.3 JDev need WLS 10.3.5 and 10.3.6 for deployment. If you deploy applications ADF, you must check DURATION adf is installed in the WLS too.

  • JDeveloper and Subversion - unable to connect to the repository

    Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.

I have a Subversion repository installed on a server that I can connect from my local computer using the appropriate URL.

When I try to set up the repository connection in JDev, I get a "Connection Refused" error.

    I use the http protocol.

It works by using a URL directly from a browser, why JDeveloper if not connect using this URL?

    Thank you
    Ray

What a parameter problem in JDeveloper of proxy preferences?

You can use the ip address of the server instead of the name of JDeveloper?
