Jet 7 Wired LAN Access (not WiFi)
Anyone know if HP Jet 7 can connect to a LAN wired using an external USB adapter? I didn't know if the operating system can support the correct driver and if the port USB 7 stream the output of the power supply.
Ideally the USB Ethernet adapter will also have PoE so the 7 workflow is reloaded at the same time. I need this for free Wi - Fi environment.
Thank you!
The stream can use a USB ethernet with an OTG cable/adapter. But you're going to encounter any problems with the charge of the end of things. By design, the flow of charge is or host devices, but not both at the same time. To overcome that, you would need a device like this http://plugable.com/products/ud-pro8 which basically tricks the flow by mode then by performing an external change in host mode without disconnect anything unit of charge. It also has an own ethernet port, but the device is almost as expensive as the stream itself.

WIRELESS and wired LAN do not know each other
My internet provider installed a new cable modem, without capacity WIFI because I have an airport extreme base WIFI (with cable Express extensions). Speed and quality are OK, wireless and wired, but there seems to be a wall of China between WIFI and wired (LAN): devices that are connected via a cable to my LAN are not visible from the wireless network and vice versa. Airport extreme is not 'Bridge' mode ("because not of wireless on the new modem capability".)
No idea of the reasons for this? Thank you very much
Sounds like the configuration of the device. With the airport devices it can operate as a device on the network or another firewall as its own network. I think that it is way jumpered to activate, this will allow you to configure the wireless on the airport, but your current router will do the DNS/DHCP and will be a single network.
Now that you have configured as two routers on an independent network as there is no bridge.

Internet conflict TimeCapsule &; GUI access not wifi. Why?
Hi Geniusses,
at home with that I have a Time Capsule is my router (from my modem-DSL providers) and it works fine.
However, now that I added my Airport Extreme using bridge as extender, the WiFi connection is at full speed but I lose the internet connection on multiple devices (phone, PS4, macbook pro) at random. When I remove the Airport Extreme connection, the problem disappeared again...
Anyone know which setting I can solve this problem?Thank you very much for your help!
Is the extreme connected by ethernet or you extend by wireless? They are totally different methods and settings must be correct for it to work.
Some screenshots of the utility airport... help no end... click on the TC at the first shot and include a summary and do the same thing to the extreme for the second shot.

LAN does not work on my Satellite C50D-B1017
Hello
I have a C50D - B1017 AMD 2100 E1 Satellite
It allows to work very well with the wired connection, but now it doesn't show even the Ethernet driver in Device Manager and it is set on in bios
I have ' tried to reinstall the operating system is windows 7, I tried both x 86 and x 64 still the same problem, I tried default and nothing has changed
still does not feel the integrated lan
PS: the WiFi is fineI hope someone could help me
Best test you can do is to set the BIOS to default settings and install the original version of OS that you got with your machine (recovery).
If the LAN doesn't work yet (not recognized in Device Manager) it is possible that there is little material related issue. The warranty is still valid?

Cannot access Smart WiFi in cascade mode
I have the following Setup.
My modem ADSL ISP is the main router with DHCP and its address is 10.0.0.138 who, for some reason, I can't change.
I booked 10.0.0.1 for my EA2700.
My EA2700 Port 1 is connected to my wireless Internet service provider router Port 1 creating a way of editing cascading of Lan-To-Lan.
DHCP and NAT is disabled on EA2700.
Both channels WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) is defined with the same name and password so devices can connect to one of the routers and it works fine.
The only problem is that I can not connect to https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com.
When I connect to https://10.0.0.1 I can connect to my EA2700, but I get error 2113.
Ignoring the error, everything works.
I tried DMZ of 10.0.0.1 on my main router but it does not help.
When a router WiFi chip is cascaded Lan to Lan you cannot remote access via WiFi Smart services.

Wired LAN undetected on a Satellite U940 after installing Win7 Pro
Hello
After replacement of the HDD in the Satellite U940-100 and the installation of win 7 Prof 64 b the wired lan device is not detected. According to the documentation, there should be a 'Fast Ethernet LAN' in the U940.
On the Toshiba support site, there is a Realtek driver available, but no luck. During installation a message appears: Realtek network controller was not found. The network cable is plugged in, but no led indicator. On the router the giga bit led will blink.
There is no unknown device left in the 'management of the computer--> device manager'.
Went LAN so where? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Frans> There is no unknown device left in the 'management of the computer--> Device Manager. "
And what is stated in the network adapters? Realtek network card is listed there?
This is really strange.
Try to set the BIOS to default settings and check again. -

First of all, you should check if the wireless network adapter has been properly recognized in Device Manager.
Otherwise->, reinstall the WLan card driver
If Yes,-> check the TCP\IP protocol properties if everything on automaticI put t know how you have configured the wifi but there were two possibilities;
You used the Windows's own configuration options or you used a tool 3rd as Intel ProSet or Atheros client utility.Generally, you should check all simple options such as the SSID, WLan encryption, mac address filtering, etc to know what s wrong.

When worked tent cabe coonect LAN WLAN! - WLAN is auto turn off... When LAN cable unplugged - WLAN is coming!
But LAN + WIFI - cannot work at the same time...
This is case is not in the BONE, not in Utils or driver... I test in slot Win, Unix, and LiveCD...
And always works as I describe above. It's LIMITATIONS of the BIOS! WHY?
in this key WLAN worked
in what I cable pluged LAN and WLAN is disabled auto-personnes ((())
in this I unplug the LAN cable and WLAN came get IP by DHCP and back...
P.S. in BIOS vF.07 everything works! LAN + WIFI = WORK, but in v F.20 and last v F.21 - NOT WORKED!
And BIOS v F.20 can't downgrade! ((( Ou Posible? )))
Make POsible NEW BIOS WORKING? (a few years ago some MSI people! and I completely reasemled BIOS for my old PC..)
P.S. Can you say which module in 68CDE. BIN necessary to replace the old version?For example — 37946B 52 - EC4B - 46AF - AB83 - 76DBBE1E13C4_1_757.ROM this is a LOGO
and 7BB28B99-61BB - 11 d 5-9A5D - 0090273FC14D_1_408.ROM too LOGO in other BIOS...What v F.07 ROM can get him back and everything be WORKED! In the BIOS about 400 Roma modules...
ANY BODY CAN help?
Hello:
Take it easy...
Go into your BIOS, then the menu of device configuration, modify the LAN/WLAN, transition from active to disabled. Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and again when you go out.
The two are now on at the same time.

Have had a reliable networking until recently. Today, I can not connect at all.
Wired and wireless connections are not available. This position is limited to wired connectivity.
1. network and sharing shows disabled wireless network and a public network, unidentified. LAN is not seen.

Windows 7 of intermittent wired lan/internet connection.
In a Word, my Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) PC intermittently drops his internet connection. Why?
Reminder: My PC is connected to my DSL modem/router that is directly connected to the telephone line. I also have wireless connectivity enabled in the router for a laptop to the wireless network.
Every few hours or more, using my PC, I find I can't access the internet and the pages will not load. Finally, Windows7 will update the network icon in the taskbar to display the symbol of an exclamation mark on the network icon. Opening of the network and sharing Center will show the red cross between the 'multiple networks' and 'Internet '.
I'm running VirtualBox of Sun on this machine and creates a network connection for itself. This doesn't seem to affect the intermittent dropping (i.e. drops intermittent occur if the connection of VirtualBox is used or not) and indeed, I installed on the two other machines (Windows XP and the other Vista Home Premium (32 bit)) of VirtualBox and these work without any problem.
When the connection does not drop, I can't access internet pages, or I can access the router at http://192.168.1.1/ web administration page, so I guess I lost all local LAN access too.
It certainly isn't the router (or the Internet itself) as my laptop, using the wireless connection (and running Vista Home Premium) continue to be able to access the internet (and the pages of the router web admin) very well.
Whenever this happens, I can immediately restore all the internet and local network access by opening the network map page, disable the "connect to the Local network' and then the reactivation. Give it a few seconds and all is well again. I guess that's because, under the MISTLETOE, it actually makes a "ipconfig/release" then "ipconfig / renew".
The allocation of IP for Windows 7 computer is the same before and after the "drop". I have a DHCP server on the router issuing IP addresses, but my Windows 7 computer uses a static address (192.168.1.2). I also tried with a dynamic IP (served to the ADSL router) and there is no difference.
There is also no specific measure in the event logs various system, other than what relates to the abandonment plug which is a "customer DNS event" and it is generated once the connection dropped and is an event specifying DNS information that could not be found for any Web site I can I try to access, just after the connection is interrupted.
The NIC chipset is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller and I have confirmed that it is the correct chipset for the motherboard (Asus M4A77TD PRO), and in fact, Windows Update installed a driver for this updated January 12, 2009. Details of the update is an update of the Realtek software since December 2009. Either way, I was still having the same intermittent problems before this update. He seems to have done no difference at all.
Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I have looked for answers to this and seen a few other people (even on the MSDN/Technet forums) affected by the same or almost the same problem, but with no clear resolution. Suggestions of disabling IPv6 on the LAN adapter and ensure there is no power 'dormant' management the network adapter have been tried but do not cure the problem. It doesn't seem to be a particular sequence of events likely to occur either. I got to go twice in 20 minutes when just randomly on the web without any other traffic and I also had it go once then not again go for 2 or 3 hours with the same type of use.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to make it stop?

I had to get my laptop because of the buttons keyboard not working not properly. I use an external keyboard, but I can't access my wifi. I tried to use the F12 key to activate the wifi on the external keyboard, but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated...
Unfortunately - your wifi controls can be BUILT INTO the keyboard that is PART of your laptop.
There may be other methods to turn your specific wifi - you should contact the manufacturer of the system and/or read all documentation of any system make and model you have.

: endI'm not positive that's causing the problem, but I noticed that you have defined incoherent poolside VPN as a 24 (in the command name and that name is associated with the tunnel group) and 25 (in the command object on the network that is also referenced in the statement of NAT exempting NAT to that object). True your pool assigns addresses from the lower half of the 24, but still...
I try to simplify things by using a single object for something like that, which is used in several places. With the help of objects the way they are intended, and which allows to avoid any discrepancies.

ASA 5505 IPSec client-to-site any LAN access?
Hello
Like many others, I have problems get ipsec vpn clients can communicate with my LAN.
I have configure ipsec with the wizard, I have also to add an ACL to allow the network to pool for the vpn client to connect to the local network, but with little success.
Many of the responses I've seen includes changes in the NAT table, I tried a lot of them, but without success.
There must be something really simple, that it's so frustrating because I guess it is supposed to be a relatively simple thing to get running.
VPN client (Linux, iptables rules no) get 10.80.80.100 address, but cannot connect to a TCP service on a machine of LAN (no firewall on computer LAN) and can not ping LAN.
