  My Samsung Laser printer is less than a year.  I rarely use it.  The red light by the symbol of the triangle (cartridge toner according to manual) came and I was no longer able to print.  I have replaced the toner with a new one cartridge, printer and USB for PC connection and turn it back on about two or three times.  No change.  I even opened a 2nd (new) toner cartridge and replaced thinking one of my 2 new ink cartridges could be a dud.  However, still no printing and the red light stays on.  Any suggestions?

  I answered many of these questions on my previous post, but developers are part of the printing process and are attached to the carousel. Each color is individual, so a color can still be ok when others are affected. I always have in my recommendation to replace the unit based on the age and complexity of the repair required.

  Remove the battery and leave it out for about 2mins. Insert the battery and see if works. If this does not work, you can try the update of the new OS but this time with the battery. When the process gets to "Loading Applications" insert the battery and let it go through to the end.

  I put t know what the flashing red LED could mean, but it looks like a HARD disk head crash. Perhaps you could find some details in the user manual that the flashing light means.

  However, he still stupid s cases of dysfunction of a backup media situation. I had a similar problem with my 2.5 100 GB USB HDD. After about 3 years of work, the HARD drive died and I was not able to access the HARD disk. I was a lucky man because I have backup my data also on the DVD so I was able to restore the files and data.
