  I have OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 running on a Linux server.
  I'm trying to run the script in overall table created via the wizard by using the Task Manager.
  
  Task Manager requires a DSN to run on. But saw that the job scheduler runs on the Linux machine so there is no DSN point to?
  
  My question is:
  
  I need to install and configure a scheduler on a windows environment to launch task manager to run the NQCmd script to the aggregation tables?
  or
  Can I get the linux box to have his own NAME or see the windows one somehow?

  You don't need to change anything, just use AnalyticsWeb in your nqcmd call, and it should work.

  To get to the bottom of my database RMAN to apply a power supply, I need to hang a set of EM jobs that run on an hourly basis to back up the archive logs. There are 30 + jobs (one for each database) I am looking for a way to this script via EMCLI, rather manually suspend that each work through the 12 c EM console.

  I can't find anything either in the documentation that suggests EMCLI has the possibility to suspend or resume work, although this is a feature that I expect to be included. Does anyone know of an EMCLI command to suspend or resume a job, or another method to describe the suspension/resumption of jobs of the MA?

  One of my users trying to get to the Administration tab on the integration repository, but does not see the tab. It has the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR and SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION responsibilities assigned
  
  If I login as a SYSADMIN, I can see both the repository tab as well as the Administration tab.
  
  Everything does know why he can't see the Administration tab.
  
  Also when you browse Managemenr user, I can't find the integration repository administrator role
  
  Is this something which was not correctly filled during the initial installation?

  Add "PIR administrator" role for this user and it should work then (ask the user to disconnect and reconnect)-"Integrated SOA gateway" responsibility does not appear "SOA Monitor" for the user. [1268115.1 ID]

• Master repository HPDM4.6 SP3 - problem

  I have a problem with the implementation of master repository in HPDM 4.6 SP3 on Windows Server R2 2012.
  First I put basic information in the management of repository and I did a test that completed successfully (attachment #1).

  After awhile, I got an error of fixing #2.

  Then, I tried to view the contents of the master repository and I had a #3 fixing error.

  I tried to send two tasks to the test device - both failed ultimately (attachments #4 and #5).

  I think I checked everything starting from the turn of the firewall, open all ports, resettlement HPDM and install it on another machine.

  Any ideas how can I do Master repository works properly?

  Yes, as my co-woker mentioned above, your FTP repository has not been defined according to the configuration of your RCM.

  You must set the repository FTP at ftp: / / < IP > / HPDM based on the configuration of your RCM.

  Note: The 'Test' button will only check if the IP and port is available, which can mislead you when given the 'success '. We are looking to improve it in the next version.

  I used the method of two system to upgrade my 11.1 SGD to 12.1.0.2. The upgrade has completed, and is followed by 7 of 42 officers, so I'm still trying to switch these. In the new EM12c, 'Management and Repository Services' page shows the connection descriptor - but it refers to the repository 11.1 SGD database. I'm afraid to ask, but if this should not be the new repository of WHO, that I created as a clone of the repository 11.1 SGD database? I checked my YES screenshot and the node logs; database connection details are accurate to the new database and the old repository. There is no glaring errors of the console EM12c.   Hi Laura, support will update your SR with the solution and the first cause. To update this thread, the problem is that you had an agent (10.2.0.5 or 11g) in the box of SGD 12 c before the upgrade. SGD 12 c install also installs an agent on this box, but will not create the target host as target host was already created and controlled by the former agent.
  Travel to an agent will fail if the agent does not monitor the target host. Thus, oracle_emrep target relocation failed and raises questions that customers report.

  We donnt 2-system of support upgarde on the same host (guide says the same thing). Support will help you how to go forward, I explained the steps.
  I connected a bug to see if we can launch a warning in pre-upgarde console earlier.

• backup of the database server takes a lot of space in repository

  The heart is on a R2 server in 2012. This is a new installation of 5.4.3.106 there is a base.

  I'm reserved system backup and the C drive.

  Drive C is 57 GB.

  I made a deposit of 160 GB on a UNC path to somewhere down this server. The backup was made on 29/04/15 07:58. It's 57GB.

  The repository is full now. There 3 days.

  No doubt.  Deduplication default cache is stored on drive C and by default is saved every hour.  It's quite a lot of paperwork and is what is backed up.  Especially if you have size and have a cache of large deduplication to manage your repository.

  You can move that cache of deduplication for another drive and that will help there as it is very likely.

  I don't know if you get something to protect the cache of deduplication, since it is not transferable in any case :(

  I have a laptop HP ENVY 15. I bought it in November 2013, currently installed windows 8 unique language.
  I had never used the HP simple pass in the past. When I tried to use it recently, it crashes whenever I try to open it. When you open the window of help from HP support, I'm not able to do anything in this window, I have to close it by calling the job manager. I'm not able to install any update, there are many upgrades available, but I'm not able to do anything, not even able to close the window.
  Please suggest if there is anyway that this problem could be solved.

  For some unknown reason HPSA works on some systems Win 8 and not on others.  For my part, I find it is unreliable and choose to not use it.
