Hello

I tried to implement the K64F according to the quick Start guide (Windows 7). During the configuration of the USB-serial interface (see also https://mbed.org/handbook/USBSerial) without peripheral supplement has been detected by windows after you connect the second USB (K64F Mirco USB) cable.

Even on Ubuntu USB that a device is listed when you connect the two cables. I missed something in the installation procedure?

What COM Port must be selected in the device connection manager?

At the moment to connect to OpenSDA Micro USB causes a permanent "State of connection '. Opens a connection via putty series fails.

I also tested the ethernet connection, where the Commission obtains an IP address from the DHCP server. But establishing a connection by using the connection manager providing the IP also does not work.

CLI tools saves the following statements.

I read in this forum that there are some problems with the static IPS (see definition IP static in Java ME 8.1 for Freescale MBED K64F). But in my case, I do not change the default setting (== > DHCP)

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

BTW - well documented Getting Started guide

Hello

You should be able to access the K64 console via USB. You only need the connector microUSB OpenSDA for this, and you must install the driver of series mbed USB under Windows. In my case, K64F console is so accessible that COM3 and the K64 displays network (DHCP address) on the market settings.

For the connection via the channel of IP tools, please try the Device Manager SDK ME first (not the command line proxy) using the DHCP from the K64F address. This generally works reliably, but to eliminate possible problems with the Windows Firewall, don't forget to disable your Windows Firewall for testing purposes.

• K64F JavaME 8.1 - BindException when running proxy.jar

I'm trying to follow CLI Getting Started Guide and this is what happens:

Why would the thrown BindException?

Kind regards

Piotr

Hello

If I remember correctly, this happens if you try to start the server proxy when you are already connected via the INTERFACE of SDK ME (Device Manager) - can't it have only a single proxy connection to the device. Please leave the Device Manager (right-click on the icon of the Device Manager in the system tray), and then restart the connection via the CLI command line proxy.

• Router not configured for port forwarding

I use a modem wireless to my ISP, they block all ports less than 1024 and I need to forward ports 80 & 440

How can I solve this?

If you configure your router for a LenovoEMC Personal Cloud and always see the message, "Not configured router for port forwarding" under personal cloud Configuration, one or more of the following ports are probably blocked by your internet provider (ISP): 80, 443or port selected in the range 50500-50599 .

Port 80 is used for internet access (HTML UN-secure) in general. If this port is blocked, but the ports 443 and 50500 are open, the Personal Cloud will work correctly even if the error message appears.

Port 443 is used for remote access on the host network storage device. If this port is blocked, but the port selected in the range 50500 is open, you will be able to use the Personal Cloud LenovoEMC and invite others to use it, but you will not be able to access your network storage device via the Internet URL. (See answer ID 30773 for more information on access remotely through Personal Cloud LenovoEMC.)

A port in the range of 50500-50599 must be routed through the router to use the function LenovoEMC Personal Cloud. If this port is blocked by your ISP, you will not be able to access the Personal Cloud to your network storage device or invite others to join the Personal Cloud. (For more information, see answer ID 29070 .)

• Site to Site IPSEC tunnel (5505 at 5505) blocking certain ports?

I have problems with the traffic between two connected 5505 at 5505 sites (lan to lan) ipsec tunnel. feature of 99% of the traffic on the tunnel seems good with one exception. When a pc on Site A tries to access a mangagment base tool (java embedded) web for an IP_PBX to the site B, part of the traffic does not result in an odd error. The client pc can ping and hit port 80 to prompt the web GUI, gets invited to download java and load the java web application embedded. The java application itself (a terminal CLI to replicate if you were just Telnet to) gives an error as it cannot successfully connect to the IP_PBX. We have other sites where the ipsec tunnel is between two 2800's, and there is NO problem. The provider IP_PBX suggest that we open port 2000. Personally I'm not familiar with the ASA to uderstand why he would block only certain ports on an ipsec tunnel. I'm particularly confused because there is no NAT'ing involved in trafficking through this tunnel ipsec 5505 to 5505.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

BH

I can post configs if necessary, but thought someone might be already familiar with this issue.

Thanks again.

Ok.

What is stable with the ACL I mentioned:

test2000 list access permitted tcp/udp any host x.x.x.x eq 2000

test2000 ip access list allow a whole

Access-group interface inside test2000

The idea is to check if the ASA transfers traffic x.x.x.x on port 2000 coming out to the inside network.

If you see hitcounts on the first statement, the ASA transfers the packets and the problem is maybe with the server itelf or return circulation.

• May my end 2011 MBP running 10.11.5 El Capitan using Back to My Mac to see my 2006 Mac Mini running Snow Leopard 10.6.8?

I want to be able to access my Mac Mini to the road, but it supports the latest OS is 10.6.8 which was at the time of MobileMe. How can I use back to my mac to access the mini?

Thank you!

I suspect that Snow Leopard 10.6 doesn't have access to iCloud, so set up Back-to-My-Mac might be a problem.

You can use (free for personal use) TeamViewer.com screen sharing and transfer between your 2 file systems.

<http://teamviewer.com>

Try the current version on both systems, but if you have you can also get an older version for Snow Leopard system

<https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/previous-versions/>

It is otherwise more complicated for remote connections, to open ports in your personal router, setting up secure ssh tunnels, etc., but it is really something for people who love to get down and dirty with pieces of computer

• DeskJet 755 CM: 755 cm

Machine has two parallel ports on the top. Can be used for tracing two computers?

The & #3; & #1; & #1; Designjet 755 cm has a parallel port single centronics and RS-232 serial port.  I personally suggest a JetDirect card and put the Tracker on the network.  I took these on eBay for < $ 20, delivery included. & #3; #2; & #1; #4;

• Incompatibility of RS232 & Personal DAQ Start Time

I'm looking to collect data from two separate serial ports and a personal data acquisition (analog input) at the same time. everything seems to work fine until I try to display information on a list. I get an error indicating that the start times are incompatible. I'm not sure how to match the time of departure for these three modules. serial ports seem to start at the same time, but the acquisition of data trolling in about a second or two. running with Dasylab 11

The pilot of x 5 PersonalDAQ play well with others.

Define full Adapt for linear Interpolation and the serial number for "a row of data" (or whatever the second choice is called in your version).

The first entry of the Adapt is the channel FASTER, that should be the PersonalDAQ, unless you have collection at a very slow sample rate.

You have installed the correct driver for your camera and your version
Windows?

And by the way, you need to connect your camera directly. Buy a
card reader for the type of flash card your camera uses (they are very
inexpensive), put the flash card and plug it into a USB port.

Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is easier and does not use
the camera battery. I have both these card readers - one I keep on
my desk, close my desktop computer and another that I keep in my
Bag for laptop to use when traveling.

• Card mother of ATC-603-eb12

Anyone know where I can get the motherboard for my ATC-603-EB12 computer plug. I wasn't able to find anything on google search on the acer site.

I don't think that Acer actually publish the specifications of their motherboards. Type of just collect all the coins from various sources on the web... more of your own Visual observations of your Board.

For example, I * think * the ATC-603 series uses the Intel B85 Express chipset. But I think that they customize it... so it's a custom Acer motherboard and a version customized for each particular model #. For example, the B85 chipset can handle 4-port SATA3, but does not necessarily mean that acer will put 4 SATA3 ports on their personal advice.

• Remote Administration is NOT working at all - WAG200G

Hi all

I recently placed a WAG200G to my home DSL and everything works fine. I do portforwarding for my apps and all agree, except that I can't get the remote management works on the internet. I tried with the default ports 8080 and personalized (5566, 77556, etc.) and none answer IE firefox or IE are upward in "cannot display the page" or "Connection reset".

"I read by train port 443 can work so tried, it appears the SSL warning to my wonderment, but once past security, towards ' cannot display the Page. I also read 4899 port SHOULD BE OPEN to remote management work, but not clear what he meant by OPEN the port since the portforwarding section would not help pass a port to the gateway itself... isn't it? I tried in vain with 4899 chosen as management port, as well. Well, I used a WAG54GS recently which was not hard at all, just put any port and bingo remote management is in your hand.

I dyndns to collect my changing IPs, I've disabled the firewall and unchecked "lock anonymous Internet requests", SNMP is disabled assistant management remote etc... I can also successfully telnet to my current host of property intellectual/dyndns public my remote management and telnet port is in. So no ISP is no player here, its opening.

What could be the cause?

Hi insaf_mohd. Try again using port 8080. Enable remote management, use port 8080 for the administration Port, and then click the Security tab and uncheck block anonymous requests WAN/Internet. Don't forget to save the settings. I hope this helps!
