  OK, so I'm trying to import a transparent with a gradient border (.png) button.  Two problems.

  other transparency issues have been associated with the 'Quality' setting in the properties of the slide.  If it is not optimized or high slides don't make it correctly.

  I know that with the statementses:

  var color: ColorTransform = ogg.transform.colorTransform;

  Color.Color = 0xFF0000;

  ogg.transform.colorTransform = color;

  I can change the color of a display object, but I have a question to change the colors in a gradient filled object

  If using previous statements, I change all the color with the new color gradient.

  Is possible to change the only color in time to keep the gradient tones?

  Resolved, without colorTransform.

  I generated a class empty constuctor and public method that executes the addChild a gradient filled sprite and returns generated sprite.

• How to print effects gradients in Illustrator CS5?

  I created several pieces for a project in Illustrator and now I want to send files to the customer for printing. My files are currently defined for the RGB color mode, and I have a gradient and a few effects (specifically some textures) added to different files. I noticed that when I changed the colors to CMYK (for printing purposes) mode the effects & gradients were gone and I read that they only work in RGB. So my question is how do I keep the gradients and effects intact so that I can print them? Don't they have to be in CMYK mode to print correctly? I thought maybe flattening or convert objects some how. I don't know what to do I am at a loss. Oh the customer wants the files in jpg format too. If you could tell me also how configure the file for printing would be great. I'm still new next to the printer of the things.

  Open the file .ai with Photoshop. Convert to CMYK, save as jpg (do not use save for web).

• Gradient of the model copy to new pages

  I created a template in DW (CS4) a few months ago that I used to build a site of about 75 pages. I tried to add a new page for the first time today. I created the new page from the same model, but discovered that my gradient background has deserted.

  It's very strange. Everything else is there, including the solid color which the gradient fades in. And the gradient is always on the model when I look in Design view or on a browser. But whenever I create a new page from the template, I only have the solid background color. No gradient.

  Foreign (to me, anyway), the URL of gradient that is on the model is not the same on the new page. Every new page I create Gets a url much more time for the gradient.

  This is what it looks like in the model:

  No - it's the way to do it.

  The link is correct in the page template?  Try to APPLY the template to this page of the child again. But first, REMOVE this edit box you added.

• Fireworks gradient is ugly 3-band in the preview?

  A gradient (663300 #-> #999999) which is very pretty in Fireworks looks like only three ugly bands in the preview. (See screen capture below)

  What, the color of the gradient seems to have changed the border and color type. The border in Fireworks, is black with a mesh of 20%. The type is supposed to be a gray (#c9c9c9). But in preview (and in the screenshot above), the border and type have a reddish tint defined for them.

  I actually bind the change of border color and type. But I do not understand why the gradient would have an impact on these areas. I have applied only the gradient and these colors to the main content area.

  Can someone tell me how to keep the gradient in Fireworks, rather ugly blocks I get a preview? And no one knows why the affected gradient colors in another region?

  JPEG does not index the color values, so you are likely to be in for some tests.

  Can you do a simple object, such as a rectangle, and simply apply a gradient to it, no editing? Try this:
  (1) create and select a rectangle
  (2) in the range of properties (below), select the dropdown that says solid and select one of the types of gradient.
  Make a gradient?

  If Yes, your rectangle selected, use the same menu drop down for
  (3) select the Options of filling... then click the button change
  4) change color and click off, twice (once to change, once to fill Options...)

  Both your reading one Subvi towards the end of the loop have wired D input up to them.  So, looks like they're each trying to read the same channel.

  You do not have the automatic error handling enabled in your program (VI properties/run) and you have no associated error of the Subvi.  How do you know that you're not get a time-out error or something like that?  Re-enable automatic error handling, but mostly, but some indicators on the sons of the error.  You may have found an error in communication on one of those who, as a timeout, and it returns the default data from scratch.

• Cannot copy master items from one side to the other (pages face to face) with the help of stick in place.

  I am trying to copy text from one side of a master page two "facing pages" face to another using Paste in place, then I me identical Master Articles for both pages, but stick it in place is not working.

  I select one side of A-master in the pages Panel (where I have the master items), the copy, and then by selecting the other side of the A-master, then glue in place.  But the points just stick on top of the original ones.

  1 make a selection of the filling

  2. go in layer > new adjustment layer > levels

  (this creates a mask so levels only affects the topping)

  3 make a fill color above the levels layer Layer

  Layer > new fill layer > solid color and sample a color from the wall

  4. go to layer > create clipping mask

  The clipping mask is so the color is only in the selected area of the mask on the layer levels

  5. change the Layer blending Mode of the layer of color to color fill

  6 adjust the level sliders to get the desired color of trim matching and the wall

  What did I miss?

  1. Your workplan should include all of your work. That's the problem with the illustrator file that you are showing.
  2. Import as a sequence must never be verified if you import a single file if it is imported as a sequence or a model.
  3. When you import as a model, you must open the computer that AE created to keep aligned layers.

  Most of the people just to get started with this workflow are all three of these errors. The workflow is really easy. To each object that you want to animate a separate layer, make sure that all the illustrations fits in your plan of work and you only have one, import as a model by keeping the dimensions of the layer, and then open the model AE creates. ALL of the layers in the project Panel will be the size of the layer. If you use clipping paths, then the layer will be the size of the mask of clipping if it extends beyond the work.

  One last point that I failed to do. You should create your work to make it the right size to fit in your composition to it is in rest format. In other words, if at some point in your composition, you want to see the whole guitar and have it fill the screen, then the strings should be thick enough to work in the video. This means that they must be at least 2 or 3 wide. If you want to have the filling of the guitar as a quarter of the screen and your project is 1920 X 1080 so your target must be set to 1920 pixels or points of width and strings must be still at least 2 points or 2 pixels wide, unless they are absolutely horizontal and vertical, AND if you use thin or values of race less of 3 pixels in your illustration lines You should have snap to pixel lit in illustrator. Your artwork can be vector art, but if there is fine detail of illustration, then it should be aligned with the pixel grid or it will look like not good.

  To view a single item in a frame that you need to do a few roto. I'm sorry that my description was incomplete. I was responding to my iPhone and took more familiarity with compositing. You will need 3 layers. Background the original video, the middle layer will be the object that you want to make echo separated from the background, the top layer a copy of the intermediate layer will be so the echo appears behind the object.

  Here's what I'd do if I wanted to isolate the tennis racket, or in this case, the car.

  1. Add your video to the timeline
  2. If there is no movement of the camera then you MUST stabilize the camera first if the background does not move and you can have a serious problem to do this work
  3. Duplicate the video layer
  4. Using RotoBrush (or roto by hand or use another mate technical procedure) to isolate the background on the first folio car
  5. Freeze the RotoBrush and duplicate the new layer
  6. Add posterize time to the intermediate layer and set it to something like 1.3 fps
  7. Add Echo to the second layer and the delay to a negative value, which corresponds to your cadence (convert images per second to seconds per image in this way: 1/1.3 = 0.76923077), put the Echo Composite operator in the front and adjust the decay to get the look you want
  8. If you have stabilized so that you now need to put the camera back movement to the copies at the top and bottom of the video and apply track information on the middle tier to keep aligned with the road duplicates. This will not work reliable with most portable or panoramic shots.

  

  As I said before, if you have a hand held shot you're in for a lot of extra work and so may not work at all. Pulling successfully this kind of effect requires some knowledge of the process and careful planning of pre-production.
