I'm having the same problem with Premiere Pro CC 2015... I deleted the Sniffer.* file... running PP as administer... all my drivers are updated to the current... still not blue screen... only when you run Premiere Pro CC 2015... other programs are working fiine... Please advise... Thank you

Thank you all for your support on these forums. I had a huge problem with the first bombing and blue screening with Kernel_security_check_failure myself. I searched high and low and tried a lot of things. I am running the latest version of the Adobe software with a home win 10 Dell Alienware brand new 15R2, the construction of 10586.36, processor Intel core i7-6820HK @2. 7 GHz 2.71 GHz, RAM 16BG, 64 bit with NVIDIA DeForce GTX 980 M with the version of the driver 10.18.13.6143. I contacted DELL for 2hrs, Adobe, then NVIDIA, we checked the equipment, power, heat, the drivers (latest) and considered a reinstall. But, first, I cleaned the registry of multiple attempts to pilot and ADOBE installs, sets off using CCleaner (can use other FREE software). I then talked to NVIDIA. It turns out later drivers are good for the games, but may have a problem with other software using the video card. It may change in the future when they make an update of the driver. However, they proposed the following text:

2. choose custom installation and click Next.

You don't have to restore the driver (device - properties of NVIDIA card Manager), just follow the steps and make sure that you perform a clean installation. It should work. I have worked for me. If you are not sure, contact NVIDIA because they were very helpful. Hope this helps someone. I lost a few days on it and I hope this helps others. Mike

    If so, you have installed a Nvidia driver with a serious bug in it.

    Contact NVidia to see if you can use their beta driver, or if you need to download an older driver to avoid this bug.

    Hi, I think I got a bad virus on my computer that's all waste.  First of all, it all started when I clicked on a link, while the Christmas on Black Friday shopping. Then I got a download of unwanted software, called system difficulty, (the small icon of Windows) I could not use system restore to remove, whenever I tried to use it, it says cannot restore on this point. Tried several other points, but no joy. Can I get the dreaded blue screen of death with a stop error: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0x804f8e80, 0xef76aa98, 0x00000000). Could sail in safe mode and tried to fix it with antivirus software, found 26, abducted, ran spybot search and destroy, found nothing. Still no joy. So today, I tried to start in safe mode, and it does not work in safe mode, guard reboot again and again.     In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service partner because I don t think that you will solve this problem yourself.

    Why is the Windows crash screen called the 'Blue Screen of Death"when some people who don't know much about computers think that a BSoD means a blue screen that kills you when it's really just an error message?

    The BSOD made his first appearance in 1987 during the beta of IBM "Operating System/2 (OS/2) developed to lattice, stir; the developer of the first OS/2 and Windows compilers. The STOP error screen hit the OS/2, when developers were porting to other tools of lattice, Inc. over the internet. The reason behind the error seems to be bugs (it means vices or defects in more technical terms) in the OS/2 software. While giving the error description of IBM (informally known as "Big Blue", then), developers of lattice, Inc., called the error like "Blue Screen of Death", combining colour with IBM and an appearance at the dead screen that comes not depart without rebooting.

    Another story, it's that the BSOD error was originally a "Black Screen of Death" (as some say) instead of "Blue Screen of Death". The term BSOD was initially given its name by Ed Brown in mid-1991. Ed Brown was then an IT technician with Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Ed Brown reported that the error has hit when the company implemented (Windows 3.0 operating system) in the world of Marketing Group, and the users when you try to run "WordPerfect" would randomly get BISOD error screen. The error would display a completely black screen with a cursor blinking in the upper left corner. This would happen when a user tried to run a DOS application and eventually got stuck with the BSOD error. The system had no escape from the BSOD error until it is restarted.

    The BSOD error is usually written in white text on a blue background.

  • Windows 7 clean installation Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) on a loop of reboot

    Aloha everyone,
    I did an install customized windows 7 on a new Western Digital 1 TB sata hard drive, which has been formatted, partitioned, scandisk, and a ntfs c drive was created prior to installation.
    The installation ended safely.  I then install my screen reader, Window-Eyes, requiring a reboot.  After the reboot, I started to install critical updates to Windows.  On my fourth update and restarting, I got the blue screen of death, that of some people call a BSoD.  I rebooted and Windows itself restored to a previous state of good, of my just accept the default choice.  Then the rear computer works, but if I stop, restart I get the blue screen of death (BSod) is back, and the loop begins again, i.e. windows restores good condition that works well, until you stop, but on reboot - BSoD is BACK!
    I removed the automatic update option, I disabled ScanDisk, drivers updated, bluetooth devices, deactivated sideshow, etc., without any positive result.  I called Microsoft for assisstance and the technician acted like this isn't a known issue, but he assured me that he could solve the problem.  He took control of my computer remotely and do not tell me anything except that the computer would check and repair any problem on reboot, and if he did does not resolve the problem, I have to remember.  The computer has rebooted without the BSod, but I stopped to check if the loop went, and it is not!  To restart the BSOd was back.  It is to note that if I put the computer to sleep, I get a clean start, but stop, restart or hibernation, I get the blue screen of death (BSoD)!
    It is a Dell Dimension XPS 420 with a intel Q6600 processer, 3 GB of ddr2 memory, which came with OS Vista Home premium 32-bit.  The Vista system, the last time I got a BSoD has been for more than a year.

    After researching this problem on Google, it appears that there is a problem without a solution.

    P.S. I'll never upgrade a Windows operating system.  My recommendation for anyone who is planning to upgrade to Windows 7 is to try first on a dual boot using the free download.  If it works for you, consider yourself lucky and buy the upgrade.  If it does not, then remove Windows 7 and stay with your old system.

    Give you information generals just formatted my entire disk, reinstalled windows xp lite, computer starts end of run, stopped randomly after some time with bsod, Changed my setting to not restart when appear the BSOD is so I could get the code, I suspect material, but if it was I don't think that the code would stay posted as long as he did as I went to work from 22:00 Home from 05:00 and the code was still up on the screen with the computer running, any suggestion would be appreciated.

    As a side note, I replaced the battery cmos in my bios and bios was showing on my first screen and then the next day I turned on the 2nd moniter (dual screen) and the bios showed on screen but the first would be empty, I already had a stick of memory on the 3, I bought so he won't miss me about 6 months ago... Maybe 2 others are underway.

  • Blue Screen of Death UnMountable_Boot_Volume 0x000000ED

    I get the same message on two desktop computers.  Two of these errors occurred in few days when computers "freeze" while he was working and there was no way out except to turn off and loose.  Neither has been able to load Windows since!

    Both are running Windows xp professional that has been purchased for each computer an update for XP provided on these computers.  I UPGRADE the two original install discs, but I can't use the drive for repairs because the computer boots apparently directly from the HD.

    I still go into this loop.  Windows has encountered an error.  Please restart in: safe mode, last known config or normal etc).  Of course, none of these options do restart except the process of starting the same way.

    I got to the Console of Microsoft recovery with some extra options, but that takes me right to the Blue Screen of Death with details about the error message: Unmountable_boot_volume with the hex codes (the first being 0x000000ED on both computers).

    I found several solutions on the internet, but they all assume that you can go to Safe Mode and run other programs like Chckdisk.  But I just can't.  I got (accidentally I might add) on the screen of the Bios utility.  Maybe it's (HP) computers or age, but on one of the computers, the BIOS page it shows:

    In the BIOS utility menu, I tried the F5 to reset the values by default, recorded and released, but everything is still show no change.

    I spend more than 2 hours on the phone with HP trying to get this resolved nothing doesn't.  The technician that I talked to had no idea how to fix this error - even if he said "no problem we will fix that in a minute."  While with this technology, I disconnected everything, rebooted several times by pressing F8 F9, F10 and DELETE, F1.  Finally, he said that the best thing I could do was wipe my hard drive and reinstall the software.

    Of course this is not a solution if the start of corruption can be solved.  And besides, even if I was willing to do that (I'm not still), how the hell I get computers to reinstall the software for two obvious reasons: 1) I have windows XP upgrade disks are installed and 2) the computer cannot read the discs anyway.

    I searched and found a lot of "bugs" on the internet, so it must be a fixable problem.  But most of the solutions assume that you can access your BIOS and change (even if nobody ever says what you should change to?), and then run the patches since the installation of XP discs.  I was also on many other sites that provide a Bootable CD to start Windows XP, but I can not get my computer to see the CD before it starts up.  I tried all suggestions as press F2 when the computer is turned on, and then select boot from CD.  But while on a few occasions, I got the "press any key to boot from CD" (once accidentally so I do not know how to get this message again), it doesn't matter what key has been pressed, it just took me in the loop.

    Does anyone have an answer that starts from the beginning assuming that the computer will not read from the CD and walking then how to understand and fix this problem.  I am sure that there is someone out there who knows how to help with this error message.  At least I hope.  I'm not technical, please keep answers in simple language.  Thanks a lot for your help
