  • Envy 15: Stuck on the HP screen

Good so recently I accidentally leave my laptop ran out of battery. I've loaded and started upward and it's gone through an update of windows then stuck on the loading screen HP during auto restart during this process. All I see is black HP logo and the white dots circling below until after a few seconds the HP logo becomes, but the indirect approach points continue.

I did a hard reset but it changed nothing. I also ran each test system, it won't let me in the menu diagnosis and has passed everyone, including 2 extensive system testing.

Whereas this problem is usually either a broken hard drive or fixed with a hard reset I am at a loss for what to try next. It's a HP Envy 15 with Windows 10 - 64 bit.

    Hello

    Try the following.

First, use another PC to create a bootable Windows 10 DVD or a USB Flash drive via the following link.  Under the section "Imperative to create a cable USB, DVD or ISO", download the media creation tool.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

Once you have it, run the tool, select 'Create the installation media for another PC', then select the language edition of Windows 10 and 64-bit.

Follow the rest of the guests to create this and then click on finish when done.

Insert the Installation of Windows 10 support and stop the laptop by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

Click next to the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Boot Menu, and then select the Boot Options Menu ( f9 ).

Use the arrow keys to highlight the CDROM (uefi) or USB Flash Driver (uefi) option, according to the type of media you created, then press on enter – if you are prompted to "Press any key to continue...". "- make.

Start on the Menu of Boot Options Advanced - see Option 5 on the link below for more information on access to this.

    http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-Windows-10-a.html#Option5

Then try to run the Windows system restore to return the laptop to a point in time before this problem occurred - see Option 1 on the link below for more information on this procedure.

  • HP Envy 4504e: HP Envy 4504e - stuck now @ impression.

    Hello

I have a HP Envy 4504e that is stuck at "Now Printing".  I went through the support of self-service on the withdrawal of the cartridges, pull the power for more than 60 seconds, turn back on etc, but nothing helped. I can't print from Android using the HP plugin, not can I print Windows 10.

Copy tried directly on the printer function, does not. The printer seems to be impossible to connect to instant ink. I can connect to the printer successfully using the built-in web services web page, so I know that there are no network connectivity issues.

I checked the support of security and it tells me that it has expired, as I bought the printer in may 2015 it said it expired in February 2016 and was recorded in December 2014. What is the warranty period by default on your printers?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Tim

    Greetings @_ti_mo_thy_,.

Thank you access the Forums from HP Support for extra support! I see that you have problems printing, copy and access instant ink. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Find the IP address of the printer and configure a manual DNS.

On the printer, go to the Wireless menu and view wireless details.

Perform the following steps to configure a manual DNS:

    • Enter the IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer), and then press Enter to go directly to this page. This should take you to your built-in Web server (EWS) printer.
    • Click the network tab.
    • In the submenu on the left, click Networking.
    • Then click on the network (IP) address.
    • Click Manual DNS server.
    • DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8 manual entry
    • Auxiliary DNS server entry as 8.8.4.4
    • Click on apply to finalize this change.
    • Note that menu above EWS items can vary in overall models of printers. If you do not see the exact topics that I've listed here, the subtopic you should always appear on the Networking tab.

Then press the icon of Webservices or and reactivate your web services (required for the scan to E-mail, ePrint and other features).

Restart the computer and the Android.

    Try to print again.

  • Help! HP Envy 100 stuck in endless reset / reboot loop

My new printer Envy 100 has suddenly been unusable by getting himself stuck in endless reboot / reset loop.

He started the other day. A message appeared on the touch screen of the printer asking me if I wanted to update the software. As everything works fine to this day, I clicked No. which seemed to he left.

It restarts, goes through the motions, then as soon as the main home page appears, it turns black again and goes through all of this again and again and again...

In one of the rare moments where I managed to access the settings before it turns off again, I have established that it * is * running the most up software to date.

Anyway, I unplugged and back of left unplugged for a few days, and as soon as I plugged the in... He started and cannot be stopped.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8. No error message appears anywhere, it just gets stuck in this loop reset, without saying why.

I hope someone can help - I can't use the printer at all.

    Thank you

    Giles

OK, the solution came in the form of an update of the HP software. As HP offered to replace the item, a new update appeared for most HP printers, and I installed it on the computer. Check on the printer now revealed a new update here as well, so I thought that it is prudent to do both.

Since then, this problem has disappeared.

  • HP Envy 1520t: stuck on the gray screen

When I start my computer, it is stuck on a gray screen. I can't load anything. Is it possible to fix this? I don't have a windows recovery disk.

Yes, this has been posted before that.

  • Printer HP Envy 4500 stuck in shutdown

I tried to copy a document.  I resized it by reducing the size, but intended to increase the size.  Error message said it was "impossible to analyze, power the printer off then back on."  If this does not work, the scanner is broken. "I pressed the power button / stop and screen read"shutting down", but it is stuck there.  None of the buttons work.

    Hello Dda1,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you have a problem with the printer not wanting to stop.

Try unplugging the power cable at the back of the printer and the power supply.  If you use a power strip/bar, please connect the power supply directly on a wall outlet and stop using the Strip/bar.

Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, please click here: click here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked into your problem on your HP ENVY laptop and having starting problems.  Try to make a hard reset.

When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

Here is a link to put the laptop in Safe Mode. Then you can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop. You may need to consider a few days before that the issue that has happened.

Here is a link to computer does not start for Windows.

Plug the adapter directly into a different wall socket. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

Please let me know how it goes.

    @Chai058

    It's just sad.  I'm sorry, that's happened.

And I'm not sure what one should do; and I regret that no one answered - apparently nobody else knows precisely what to do, either.

I guess at some point you will have to press the power button and turn off the laptop.  It can start later, it's 100%...

Or - you could unplug the computer and carried over to a local home repair and see if something can be done with a system that is frozen and apparently will stay that way unless you intervene.

If the computer is under warranty, you can contact HP and establish a contact / case - this can be useful if all goes on the side after you press the power button and you need help with the computer goes again:
