Kernel_Security_Check_failure

This error is popping up often, and I'm not sure why, maybe an error being caused by the Hamachi client I thougt but in the past a few cases, it not yet working, not very tech savy so detailed instructions are very popular all helping me.

In addition, Apologoies if it is in the wrong section, I thought that it is a mistake to security check, so go here.

Looking at the files minidump with WinDbg (version 6.2.9200.20512) shows the NMgamingms.sys as the culprit:

BUCKET_ID: 0x139_3_NMgamingms+ 1cbb

BUCKET_ID: 0x139_VRF_3_NMgamingms+ 1cbb (Insider Driver Verifier)

The NMgamingms.sys has been known to cause this error in Windows 8.

The NMgamingms.sys, which can be installed via Windows Update, would be a driver for a USB mouse or other USB device.

Can you open Device Manager and expand "Human Interface Devices" and double-click each device > driver > Driver Details > driver files

You can locate the NMgamingms.sys as a driver (under driver files) for one of these devices?

You have a USB mouse connected to the computer?

I'd install the most recent driver available, even if it is the same date that drivers become corrupt

    Hello

The two attached DMP files are error checking KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139) .

This bug check indicates that the kernel has detected a critical data structure corruption.

Driver Verifier is turned on in both of these discharges - VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP, but it is down to detect a driver device in violation of one of them.

Curiously, the process that crashed was the same in the two dumps - WDDriveService. After taking a quick glance at your list of drivers loaded:

    GVTDrv64.sys - my 05 Sep 2006 03:10:02

^^ Easy Tune 6 Gigabyte driver (called BSOD issues w/Win7 and 8)

In 2006, way too old for Windows 8 and I think it is contradictory. I would recommend either update this if available software - http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/Utility.aspx?cg=2
or uninstall as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Kind regards

  • Windows 8 on Bootcamp. Kernel_security_check_failure regular on restarts and Shut Downs.

    MacBook Pro 13 retina

    8 GB RAM

    Bootcamp 5.0.5033

Windows Fresh 8 upgrade from fresh Windows 7

    Hello

I've been using Boot Camp for several months, running Windows 7 on my Mac. I need extend partition, so I decided to uninstall the Windows 7 partition (using Boot Camp on a Mac), then reinstall Windows 7 on a freshly prepared partition. Who had finished I immediately upgraded to Windows 8.

I installed the Boot Camp of support software, and as far as I can tell all my drivers are up to date.

However, every time I restart or shut down the computer, I get a BSOD with Kernel_security_check_failure. I tried to study it using WinDbg, but all this can point to what is NTKRNLMP.exe which shows that it is caused by something else, and it is not clear what.

I tried to go through this process twice, so I'm on my second fresh install in Windows 8 now.

There is no other problems at all on Mac or Windows, it is not never failed except when it restarts.

I ran a memtest with no problems found.

I have about this problem over the past months, I have been using Windows 7

The only time I saw it crash not was when it was connected to an external monitor which leads me to believe it's a problem with the display driver. I tried all the drivers from the Boot Camp, Windows update software and update the Intel utility display and none of them solve the problem.

Any help or this point troubleshooting tips would be MUCH appreciated and I would be interested to hear if someone has the same problems.

    Thank you!

    Chris

Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?

The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02dB-4665-993a-08d865088d65

If you have problems to compress the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the desktop

You have an Nvidia GPU in your system?

If so, you have installed a Nvidia driver with a serious bug in it.

Contact NVidia to see if you can use their beta driver, or if you need to download an older driver to avoid this bug.

    Hi alvaroOC,

  • Every time I open photoshop, my computer hangs and gives error KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

So if you read the title of this discussion, you will know what it is. Whenever I run the Photoshop application, my computer hangs and gives error KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.

I've already tried everything that I saw made online on other posts, but they do not seem to work.

If someone could help me with this problem as soon as possible, it would be great.

    Thank you!

    Hi jollylilwoodsman,

In my opinion, you are using an Nvidia graphics card.

This questions seems to appear only after the recent update of the graphics card from Nvidia.

    • Navigate to the location - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, search the file named sniffer.exe and place it on the desktop.
    • Launch of Photoshop now and it should work fine.

Note - moving sniffer on desktop, Photoshop will not use your graphics card.

Another solution would be to install a previous version of the graphics driver.

Let me know if it helps.

    Hi all

Thank you all for your support on these forums. I had a huge problem with the first bombing and blue screening with Kernel_security_check_failure myself. I searched high and low and tried a lot of things. I am running the latest version of the Adobe software with a home win 10 Dell Alienware brand new 15R2, the construction of 10586.36, processor Intel core i7-6820HK @2. 7 GHz 2.71 GHz, RAM 16BG, 64 bit with NVIDIA DeForce GTX 980 M with the version of the driver 10.18.13.6143. I contacted DELL for 2hrs, Adobe, then NVIDIA, we checked the equipment, power, heat, the drivers (latest) and considered a reinstall. But, first, I cleaned the registry of multiple attempts to pilot and ADOBE installs, sets off using CCleaner (can use other FREE software). I then talked to NVIDIA. It turns out later drivers are good for the games, but may have a problem with other software using the video card. It may change in the future when they make an update of the driver. However, they proposed the following text:

Please click the link below to download and save the file to the desktop:

    http://International.download.nvidia.com/Windows/359.12/359.12-notebook-win10-64bit-intern ational.hf.exe

Once the download is complete, please do the following:

    1. start the installation
    2. choose custom installation and click Next.
    3. check all the boxes in the custom install options windows and also check the box which says ' Perform clean install '...
    4 restart your computer.

You don't have to restore the driver (device - properties of NVIDIA card Manager), just follow the steps and make sure that you perform a clean installation. It should work. I have worked for me. If you are not sure, contact NVIDIA because they were very helpful. Hope this helps someone. I lost a few days on it and I hope this helps others. Mike

  • After the effect CC 2015 - KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (memory dump)

    Hello

As is obvious, I had a problem after installation of AE and it gives me a blue screen with a message above (KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE). It seems that there is a failure of memory between AE and another software or driver. So I analyzed Memory.DMP file with WinDbg and gave me a result below.

As you can see, I discovered, file dxgkrnl.sys with AEGPUSniffer.e process of do a memory crash. I have to say befor installation AE I uninstalled drivers for my graphics card (Geforce and Intell) and installed a pilot seller directly but AE has a problem with DirectX. (my edition of DirectX is 12)

Here is the Configuration of my system:

Laptop: HP with a UEFI Firmware (start secure power off)

    Windows 10 edition 10586

    RAM: 16 GB

Graphics cards: Intel internal (1 GB) and dedicated Geforce GTX (4 GB)

CPU: 2.3 GH core i7 (quad core and 8 logical processors)

    HARD DRIVE: 1 TB

    All drivers up to date

Well, any help will be appreciated. If there is no any way to make it correct, can I do it just with a new edition of EI or will be the same?

I have a laptop hp with windows 8.1 g6.   For some reason, my clock keeps going back three hours after I put and I turn off the laptop.  However, when I turn the phone back on, the time is back three hours behind as before.  I can't understand why.
