Keyboard and mouse input buffer and delay

I have a logitech wireless mk520 combo. I used it for about a year know and it worked perfectly on a proffesional (without SP1) of windows system 7. A couple of days, I bought a new PC and installed windows 7 Professional SP1 with all updates and on my new system (before even the updates), once or twice a day, my keyboard entries get buffered and delayed. Most of the keys on the keyboard reached its destination after about 5-10 seconds, but some of them never present themselves. This happened between applications (google chrome, marine play space). Any ideas?

Thanks and let me know if you need more information.
Best regards
Nenad

Hello

I think that receiver reinstalling did the trick. I moved the receipt to the front USB is now near the keyboard/mouse combo and more away from the router. I didn't notice the problem since.
Thanks for the help.

  • Delays in the keyboard and mouse

As I ran my Windows 7 update on 11/10/12, my keyboard and mouse are delayed intermittently.  This happens in gmail, hotmail and other web applications.  It doesn't seem to be a problem in word or excel or other programs Ms.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 16.  When I type and letters to catch up later, they are not accurate. Any suggestions?  My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5820 T.  Thank you.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.

You can check the corrupted system files.  Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

  • Connection keyboard and mouse USB Wired stall

    Hello

My computer repeatedly interrupts the connection to my Wired USB mouse and keyboard.  Usually around one every 30 seconds, the connection falls for 1 to 1.5 seconds, then comes back.  Meanwhile, the cursor hangs - I can't click anything, and I can't press any keys on the keyboard.  For example - when I type, I have my keyboard will stop working for a while, and no text will appear.  This is particularly problematic when I play games.

I tried to reboot the computer, reset the SMC and the mouse and keyboard.  I also tried all USB entries on my mac (4 in total), and the problem persisted with each of them.  This leads me to believe that it is either a problem with all the USB inputs, or a software problem.

I have an iMac 27 inches, mid-2011 with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (specifications: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB with 1333 MHz DDR3 memory and storage capacity of 2 TB).

I use a wired USB (Logitech G402) mouse and keyboard USB Wired (Razer BlackWidow Stealth).  I have the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software and Razer Synapse installed for support.

    I would appreciate help.

Check if there are updates available driver.

To check if the problem is with the USB to your Mac controller, test with a different keyboard or mouse.

To check the extensions conflicts, etc., try the startup mode.

    -----

Restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.

  • Using two computers on a single monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I want to use my two computers with a single screen, keyboard and mouse... says to use the kvm switch.  I use Windows XP on a computer and Windows Vista on the other... what kvm switch do you recommend?

You can view the free software kvm solution below:

    Input Director
     http://www.InputDirector.com/

I use between three computers (1-Win7 Pro x 64 single monitor, 1-WinXP Pro x 86 two monitors, 1-WinXP Home x 86 single monitor) and a single keyboard and mouse. It works fine for me, I used it for over a year without any problems. The Win7 Pro and WinXP Pro have both run several virtual machines too.

There are several other kvm software available (Google is your friend) I tried several before input Director.

  • Keyboard and USB mouse stop working correctly with Windows 7 Professional x 64

I originally had Windows Vista x 64 on my computer (he's 8 months old, CPU intel quad core 2.0 ghz, 6 GB of ram etc.). I installed Windows 7 RC in July (new installation) and used until 2 weeks ago when I installed Windows 7 Professional edition (I reinstalled Vista and then installed the upgrade to Windows 7 by using the clean installation).

In recent days, I had problems with the mouse and keyboard (the two connected USB). Entries to start acting strangely. For example, using scroll in firefox causes the font sizes change in firefox, instead of scrolling and clicking on links opens the link in a new window, not in the same window. Right click stops running. The keyboard input will simultaneously strange - I can type is no longer (for example in firefox search boxes, or WMP), of if I type, it uses another command to open something, etc. I don't understand what is happening! However, after the reboot, the problem disappears and everything works fine, until the next time it happens (has happened 3 x now). I tried my mouse and keyboard in my old laptop and they both seem to work well. I have not received any pilot error / virus messages / dysfunction (Bitdefender 2010) messages of any kind, and as far as I know, all the drivers are up to date.
Anyone know what is happening? Is there something wrong with my motherboard? And if so, why are there no error message? And why things work again after the reboot? Help, please!

    Hello

Update the drivers for the keyboard and mouse should solve the problem.

  • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

  • macOS Sierra installed ok, but the keyboard and mouse freeze after a short use.  Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm running a MBP 17 "(fin 2011) with CPU i7 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD 1 TB for storage."

El Capitan has worked well and all updates have been applied.

Sierra (production, not beta) installation went without a hitch.  However, after using Siri and some other applications (which I closed), I opened and used Pages (also just improved).

After about 15 minutes, the bluetooth mouse has frozen, then froze the built-in trackpad and keyboard.

I gave her a few minutes in the case where it is clear.  I have consulted the page document to my iPad and it updated on the MBP display.

Finally he needed a hard reboot with the power button.

I had to restart twice this way, but was running a different application when he stopped on occasion earlier.

    Anyone had this happen?

    Hello crashsite2,

  • How can I repair my broken Magic Keyboard and Mouse?

My niece who is 23 years younger than broken me my Apple Magic keyboard and mouse Magic Mouse from Apple for my iMac, and all of them are not in stock because they are used on Mac computers, and I don't want to lose a keyboard and a mouse, another Mac as on my Mac Pro. She said I was due, but I SLEEP, then all of a sudden, I heard the noise. Is there warranty for the keyboard and mouse? How can I replace it with Apple because she says it's worth $ 5, and piano of plastic doll is worth $ 500 and the cheap plastic. Should I go to the Genius Bar because the keys are gone, and the mouse is broken.

Apple does not cover such damages, regardless of warranty.

You can buy new online through a variety of websites looking for them online, that they do not have to come from Apple.com. Stores of brick and mortar like best buy or Wal-Mart can take so if an Apple Store is not an option. There are also alternatives and sometimes a lot less expensive replacements through various vendors such as Microsoft and Targus just to name a few.

  • Macbook Air using with mouse, keyboard, and external display?

I want to put in place a more ergonomic work station. Can anyone recommend how I can configure my Macbook Air 13 "to use at home with an external monitor as well as an external keyboard and mouse? What is the easiest and most cost-effective way? Is a necessary dock if I buy a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, then simply plug the monitor each time? Could I use this set up with my macbook screen closed? I bring my Macbook to every day, so it must be easily plugged/unplugged. Thank you.

A dock is not necessary. If you use a USB keyboard and mouse or a BT, it is up to you. I use a BT Magic Mouse and Apple keyboard in my office. That leaves just two things to plug: monitor and the power cord. When you use an external monitor as primary monitor you can close the lid of the computer and it will not go to sleep.

The keyboard and mouse bluetooth suddenly stops working.

Given that this only happens when I'm online I make this question to the FireFox support.
I have the latest version of FF:

I installed the new BIOS and Shipset, but that does not change.

Suddenly, the keyboard and the mouse do not respond and I have to restart manually.

  • Keyboard and magic mouse

How long does take to recharge the mouse and keyboard, never done before. I have a 21.5-inch iMac, with keyboard and wireless mouse. Thank you very much...

Depends on how long the batteries are discharged. Maybe an hour for the keyboard and a littles less for the mouse.

You can connect the Lightening cable to the USB port and then to the keyboard or the mouse and use the devices while they are in charge.
