Keyboard has some keys that don't work

I own a Samsung laptop model numbers np470r5e-k01ub running windows 8. Keys z, v, and space bar stopped working for unknown reasons. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and nothing has changed. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

Thank you for the update on the issue.

If your keys are not working for 3 hours and after that he puts to work, so in this case you tried to run the troubleshooter above.

  1. If you have tried the built convenience store in what was the result?
  2. From which you installed the drivers? Is it the DVD or the manufacturer's Web site?
  3. Have you tried completely uninstalling the keyboard drivers and then reinstall them using?

This problem can occur if the drivers already installed for the device are corrupt. To resolve this problem, you will need to completely uninstall the driver/device and then reinstall it.

Please, try the steps to uninstall the keyboard from the Device Manager, uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs, and then download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Step 1:

Uninstall the device from Device Manager

  • Open the Device Manager
  • Expand the section Keyboard.
  • Find the keyboardDriver.
  • Keyboard driver right click and choose Uninstall.
  • Select the check box delete the driver for this device.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

 

Step 2:

Uninstall the drivers of device from the list of programs in the control panel

  • Click Start, select Control Panel
  • Now, click on programs and select programs and features.
  • Find the keyboard Driver.
  • Keyboard pilot a right-click and select Uninstall.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

 

Step 3:

Download and install the latest drivers for the keyboard on the manufacturer's Web site

    The keyboard made by Logitech for iPad 12,9 Pro is backlit. However, I don't know if they make a still for the 9.7.

    I had a problem with my HP Chromebook intermittently keys work only not - y, m, n, etc.  They would work, then not work, and it was very frustrating esp to log in b/c I couldn't get my typed password.

    I thought that I would need a new keyboard, but my ex-husband wonderful thought that we should try to clean and reconnect the keyboard to the motherboard connector.  Assembly of the top panel was removed (after removing the screws of the lower case)...

    He cleaned the keyboard connector with isopropyl alcohol and re-connected the connector and it worked.

    It may not work for everyone, but try this b/f you buy a new keyboard.

    Thank you very much.  The first solution that I asked was very temporary - my chromebook was still under warranty so I was able to send it back.  My husband did the first fix, but don't think that it would take, and he did not.

    If that ever happens again so I will use this solution.  you are a genius, thanks a lot!

    I bought a HP dv6 - 6167cl last night the Club of Sam and I like the laptop, but for some reason, the right shift - (shift more long 'Break' and 'Shift' written on the key) does not work. It may even be a user error - is there some kind of thing to use the shift key? (function toggle or something)

  • I recently started getting the message "error - blocked site" on some sites that use to work. Can anyone suggest why this might be, please?

    I don't have the same problem if you are using Opera as a browser, however, I am aware that ISPS have blocked some sites in the United Kingdom due to a decision of the Court and wonder if it is the cause. The message only started to appear since I read about this decision. Is there a list somewhere that shows which sites are legally blocked in the United Kingdom? I can then excluded of this in or out as the cause.

    I have iphone 6 more.

    Sometimes vertical Whitelines light 1/random th of screen from the top.

    During this time they display, touchscreen doesn't work sometimes and sometimes it works out gibberish.

    I press somewhere else and something else is pressed.

    Then all of a sudden this problem disappears until I use the phone. (no whitelines or touch that do not meet, everything becomes perfect)

    Once I have it put to sleep or leave for some time the problem will come still sometimes.

    This isn't software issue since I reinstalled 9.2.1 ios again and again with full reset. (deleted all my apps just to be sure)

    There is no hardware failure, because the problem is not persistent and works of my screen and touch all the other times. I think that cables or the connection is loose. given that this problem comes and goes randomly. I can live with that, but its * boring. A sec I talk to someone and I can't cut the call.

    Please help me, Service Center said that I need to replace my phone. They will not understand this and I want to just replace it without reason.

    Tip: I live in India where these people are not able to diagnose even the question and want me to pay for something, I clearly did not cause.

    And since my warranty is out, I have to pay appx ~ $ 470 for a problem that no one can tell me and search the Internet or apply basic logic is simply because cable is at fault.

    I'm sorry, but the loose wiring is a hardware problem. Since there is no authorized Apple service provider who manage the repairs of the screen, their only alternative is one out of warranty replacement of the device, given that your warranty has expired. To be honest, even here in the United States, if Apple tries to replace the screen and it will not fix the problem, their answer would be the same, a replacement of the officer of the WATCH. They do no wiring at the Genius Bars. Your response is more disabled because of your location. You can see if there is a 3rd party competent repair facility that can run on the device. This decision is yours.

    First of all, I would say that you install the latest drivers for the integrated webcam site of laptop manufacturers and are looking for the latest drivers for the installation of the webcam it restarts the computer and check if it works.

    Click on camera Assistant in the Panel control/programs/uninstall a program.  Click on the Camera Assistant Software. Then choose repair.

    I have a laptop with a keyboard external USB I plug my 10 - key. When I press ALT on my laptop keyboard and then enter the alt on the keyboard code nothing appears even if num lock is turned on. Anyway is this issue? Thanks for the help.

    A solution I found is SharpKeys (easy to find using a search engine), I put in correspondence touches on my keypad (USB) ALT and it works for the ALT codes.
