Keyboard on HP 15-d016sv problem

Hello to the community of HP,

I have a new laptop HP 15-d016sv with Windows 8.1.

Because my client wanted Windows 7 Professional 64 bit I replace it.

This item from the keyboard have stopped working.

I'm trying to get into the BIOS but nothing. I try to press the SPACEBAR during startup by ear the beep but nothing again. So I try all the methods that I have found the forum, but nothing, nothing, nothing.

I have unplug and the BIOS battery, but the result is negative...

It's work with the external keyboard.

At another idea?

I have bad start up and now that I have, I can't access some of the problems, the keys get stuck, funny noises... beeps all the symptoms of a questionable keyboard.     But seriously, if you have some problems with the boot and keyboard in my opinion, you should try to pick you up BONES. If the malfunction of the same images I recommend to contact the ASP for more information.

    My Satellite 2450 system unit model ps245l-03H7YP made in the Philippines has problem. First 3 characters in my keyboards can operate (4.6 and space). After 1 week my Satellite cannot work, whenever I turn on the computer I have a Word? Check the system. Then press the [F1] key.

    This happens before the BIOS menu and I can't use my keyboard. But when I try with external keyboard I can get into the BIOS with push F1 Menu and I can't setting BIOS with all "N" key to the Toshiba keyboard & keyboard. With the external keyboard, I can enter my Windows XP.

    For me, it's like something wrong with the internal keyboard or only with the keyboard controller.
    Maybe it's only one loses the keyboard cable but it's only a sugestion.
    Unfortunately, I don't think that you will be able to solve this problem without any help.
    I think you should ask the Toshiba service partner in your country for assistance and advice.

    I got my laptop Tecra A10 - 112 today and the first thing I noticed is that the keys 'L', 'R' and 'Y' makes very annoying loud clicking sound whenever they are turned on.

    So maybe this A10-112 is not distributed in the United Kingdom, but in other countries. I don't know that other A10 with similar specs can be purchased in the United Kingdom.

    Sorry I m not owner of the A10, but one of my friends bought this laptop and he asked me for the configuration.
    So I know that it is a laptop really good for the market with new features

    In my opinion just detailed testing can clarify the situation. In my opinion, there is a hardware problem. I think that this keyboard controller is faulty. Maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I know internal and external keyboard don t use the same controller.

    Try to contact the Service partner and ask them what may be the problem. They know what the problem is here.

  • Strange keyboard on my Satellite L500 problem

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L500-11V and in recent months the keyboard was make it worse (some keys work only when they want too) and now it has stopped working completely. I bought another keyboard hoping it would be a simple difficulty however, this has not solved the problem.

    I did some research and updated the bios to v2.1, but it still does not work. The weird thing that I found which is good to use an external via USB keyboard when I press Caps and number on the external keyboard the two lights on the laptop keyboard lights?

    I am running out of ideas, and it's really bugging me now. Any ideas how to sort this?

    If the new keyboard didn t sole that there must be a serious hardware problem, keyboard controller, maybe.
    I think you need professional help with this then I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can check with diagnostic tools and tell you with certainty what the problem is here.

  • Keyboard with Qosmio G40-108 problems

    I have a problem with the keyboard trying to enter text. While typing I put funds, or emails or any where on the computer typing stops.
    I have to re-click in barely end I'm typing.
    It happens every time I have press the SPACEBAR key tab and enter the return key.

    All third party software is supposed to be compatible with vista. I had real problems with Qosmio G20 for 14 months, which eventually led to me have replace it with this machine.
    Other than typing I havnt had any other problems yet.

    I don't want to go back but can't seem to find a lot of online help

    To be honest, for me, it is not easy to understand what problems you have, but it will be interesting to know if you have type the problem using the Windows Notepad or Microsoft Word. Or even if you type something to open the window Internet explorer, like passwords, or perhaps the mails.

    Third party software you can be sure that everything will work perfectly.

    It is possible, it is a problem of material with the keyboard, but I would try the following and see if there is an improvement.

    Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

    Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  • Purchase backlit keyboard of Non-Dell - having problems

    Recently, I buy a laptop Dell 15 3558, great touch screen case and many additions. One thing she didn't was a backlit keyboard, so I went and bought a (refundable) non Dell keyboard backlit on Amazon.

    I know that a backlit keyboard has 2 connections, one for data and one for the light. When I opened my laptop the light connector was something trendy (don't know how). I advanced and unplugged and plugged my new keyboard backlit non dell... Here is what happened.

    1-main Board informed and worked.

    2-back light never stops, even when you stop always on sound. (The Windows Mobility Center doesn't have even a keyboard function.)

    3 - laptop will not start unless I unplug and reconnect the laptop again.

    Any ideas what going on?

    Finally, Dell made a backlit keyboard, which would be compatible?

    This system model is not designed to support a backlit keyboard and so there is no backlit / deactivate the toggle function keys as seen on others not models - see specs here - http://dell.to/2gryrMy

    The backlit remains on when the system is turned off and disconnected the power adapter?

    Update the BIOS - http://dell.to/2h6A06p - restart the system and check.

    If the problem is not resolved, so I suspect a problem with the installed keyboard.

    In this case, you must reinstall the original OEM Dell keyboard on the machine.

    Three keys: back & oblique and the key to the last letter of the alphabet have suddenly stopped working. I think I could do something simple to disable them but cannot work that we need to reverse the process. Any suggestions, queries!

    The key cannot be disabled.
    I guess that it s a malfunction simple keyboard.

    Have you already tried to connect an external keyboard?
    Isn't it? Check it out.

    In the case where the external keyboard would work properly, the internal keyboard is no doubt affected and needs to be replaced.

  • Strange keyboard on my Satellite L40 problem

    I have laptop Satellite L40 - 17u, and I had it again for about 2 months. My keyboard now seems to do its own thing. I'm going to the settings to correct this. It is ok for a while then goes haywire once again, so leave some letters on the key on board either entered numbers, some type at all, and not to tap the buttons I'm pressing.

    I did a reforming and it always goes the same way.

  • Keyboard on Compaq Presario CQ60 problem

    My daughter has a CQ60 notebook that was working fine this morning, but this afternoon the Q W E R U I O and P keys have stopped responding. I could check, all other keys are not affected. Any suggestion would be gratly appreciated.

    Before I / we assume that the keyboard is bad you need to reinstall the driver, that seems to never work, but we should give it a shot anyway. Go to the control panel and find the Device Manager. Click on that and find "Keyboard" in the list, click the small arrow to decompress. Right-click on the keyboard and choose to uninstall the driver, ignore the warning and continue. You will be prompted to restart the computer and start it will automatically reinstall the driver.

  • Show/hide bounding box option does not work. No more keyboard shortcuts. Also more problems.

    I had problems with the CC Illustrator who started this morning and I hope I can find a solution through this forum. I tried to contact adobe in appellant and chat support and I didn't know until today is how problems in their customer service program. I was transferred several times to the bad people while waiting for an hour each time, or is disconnected during a hold and had to start over my waiting time. Cat was not helpful because they don't answer my questions or give me a direct line to call, instead of repeating that I have contact the same telephone number that puts me on hold and then drop my calls (I use a land line).

    It is very difficult to describe the problem, but I'll do my best. I can't use the bounding box feature, even if the show bounding box option is selected. None of my shortcut keys work and all the files that I opened are unbearably slow. Everything I do in the program is hit or miss or not even happen, so in order to see the change, I have to scroll the artboard and return; that is, draw a rectangle (then has to scroll far off the screen to the Board chart and scroll back to see), fill it with a color (then have to scroll far and scroll back to see again), or changes do not occur at all (scroll away or not). Also sometimes Illustrator does not recognize my actions unless I repeat them several times.

    I use the software Adobe CC every day at my work (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects) and have never had a problem like that. I have not download or change settings on my computer before it happened.  All my other adobe programs work well as are all other programs not adobe on my computer. All my programs are now fully updated and restarted my computer at least a dozen times. If anyone could shed some light on how I can solve this problem, or have worked in it before that I would appreciate greatly any assistance. I'm very behind on my work and have deadlines to hit. Thanks in advance for any help!
