  with the VPCEB37FD if the number lock does not release until the key feature bunk 10 on the left side of the keyboard, try the key electronically using the screen keyboard on. to access the screen on the keyboard press start, all programs, accessories, ease of access, then the keyboard on the screen. You can also simply begin typing the word "keyboard" in start search and it should appear in the list above.

  This problem can be caused if there is no change in the keyboard settings. I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

  (a) change accessibility options in Windows 8
  Press the Windows key + X and click on Control Panel
  Click accessibility, and then select make the keyboard easier to use.

  (b) make sure that you uncheck the box "Turn on mouse keys"

  (c) click on apply and OK.

  My Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series the numeric keypad does not work.  I have attached an external and the numeric keypad doesn't work on it either. What happened and what can change?  Where the notification that NumLock is turned on or off or is mine is broken?

  I went into regedit and changed the value of 0 to 2 in the HKEY_USER registry key. I finally got to work by changing the settings of the mouse, by disabling the key checkbox mouse in the ease of access.

  Thanks for your help, now my numlock lights when the computer is turned on.

  I can't use keypad on my Apple keyboard with numeric keypad by logging on Windows 8, or when you type in the field when Windows or any document.

  I think that this kind of functionality should be possible with an Apple keyboard. Do you think I should submit a feature request? If so, where should I send such a request.

  The 'Clear' on the physical keyboard key seems to do the same job... On my Mac keyboard, there is a clearly labelled keys where the Num Lock key is on a PC keyboard (above the number pad 7).  This key is used to NumLock when I press on it in a virtual Windows machine.

  Control Panel > Ease Of Access Center > facilitate the use of the keyboard > uncheck "turn on mouse keys.

  As indicated above for the update Bios to 2.1 later I lost the functionality of numeric keypad, not the right side as if it were a good keyboard.
  The above keys work IE delete scroll etc.

  The numlock light does not illuminate, but it does if I activate the keys on the stretch main qwerrty.
  Is their any way to reload the bios it won't let me because I have the latest or downgrade may not be like that until anothrer update.

  Check this box!

  If it s not working do not you should load the default settings in the BIOS. Maybe it works.

  Last but not least just be sure it s not a hardware problem, can test you it with the factory settings?

  My new Inspiron 3847 arrived this week, and I use it for the first time.

  It was quite difficult to find the hard drive, once I found it behind the super secret backdoor, I put in the disk of driver provided with the computer monitor.

  Now, I want to install my printer, but I can't find any way to open the hard drive.

  I searched the forums and found that I need to press 'Function + F4' to eject a disc.  What happened to the button "Eject" on the hard drive itself?

  Anyway, I can't find a 'Function' button on my new Dell keyboard.  I know that I bought a model of economy, but the "Function" button was not yet available when I ordered the system.

  In the same sense, I know that the 'Crescent Moon' button above the button 'Clear' keypad not a nor order. But there it is. Fortunately, this one is not connected to anything, because nothing happens when I push it.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I really don't want to go with the way "of a paper clip in pinhole".

  Try F12 - opens the drawer.  Or, look for the icon of the drive in the applet on the computer and right click on the DVD drive - there is an eject option.

  The default behavior of Windows 7 (and as far as I know all the previous versions) is to enter the ASCII codes to the ALT keyboard + keypad. For example, Alt + 230 will produce "µ".   Questions that I can't understand, or hope he have a new answers to:

  Most of the things you want are requests for features except #5. Simply use the numeric keypad, not the numbers at the top of the keyboard.

• How re-pair the bluetooth keyboard & numeric keypad - he will not give me a pairing code.

  I'm having a problem, try to re - connect my Bluetooth keyboard and numeric keypad.  First my keypad has been properly installed and works fine, but then when I tried to add the keyboard that I clicked on the number pad icon again once and he gave me a code to enter, I canceled just thinking it was already installed and working, and I didn't need to do.  Big mistake!  Now I could not do re-paired again.

  After talking with a guy tech at Staples, I disabled bluetooth for my laptop completely and then distributed in the computer and re-enabled Bluetooth.  I was able to add my mouse still fine, but now the keyboard and the numeric keypad gives me the same error and won't let me pair.   The message is:

  Pairing failed.  An ocrred of error during the process of pairing with Microsoft Bluetooth Number pad.  Make sure that the device is discoverable, and then click Retry.

  Well, I did it several times but without success.  He won't give me a code for one of these pair again.

  Use of your iPad 2 Air indicates that it is looking for service even if you have data Wi - Fi and cell phone turned off after update to iOS 10.0.2.   How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch --before troubleshooting a device, I always recommend a fresh backup. It is preferable "to have" one to the 'need' to a backup.

  1. forcing a nearby app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - first, quit all running applications, and then restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - never underestimate the power of a good restart.

  2. reset the iPad settings - do not forget to write your networks, Wi-Fi/passwords before you start. On your iPad, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This step returns your iPad to factory default settings. Test and if that solves the problem, use your backup to restore your settings.
