L7580: white streaks

I get white horizontal stripes in printing or copy, black & white or color on my HP L7580.  I tried cleaning, rebooting and everything I can think of.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  Thank you.

The lamp is most likely a failure.

I have a HP Officejet 4500 Wireless all-in - One Printer - G510n whose warranty has missed 18 days he y a-numbers. I run windows vista for an operating system. Every 3rd line down I get white streaks along the line. This problem does not occur when I make copies, just for printing a document from my computer. I did all the troubleshooting until the replacement of the cartridge to see if that makes a difference, it didn't. I checked the edits and there is not. I cleaned the print cartridge head by going through the hp Solution Center and manually myself. I did alignments and followed all the troubleshooting process. I still have a problem. What can I do to fix this?

Well, I did get the help I need for my printer problems. So I had to go out and buy a new printer. Maybe it's just the way things are made now days. Made not to last beyond the guarantees so that people are made to buy more products. Ideal for the manufacturer, but not for the customer.  This time, I bought an extended warranty.  What really bothers me, the economy is bad, and I am one of the working poor.  We should not so good elements market/badly and disposable. What happened to the pride in a product and quality. This isn't just HP but in general with all products produced now days.

  • White streaks - new faces?

    Hello community,

My impression has horizontal white streaks on them, only on the black parts.  It is a L7680, so I separated CMYK ink cartridges (already tried to replace the black), as well black Yello replaceable print heads.  I tried to clean the cartridges, as well as the calibration of the line and the alignment tools.  Also ran HP Print doctor, which was completely unnecessary and went through all the step described in the doc of the Forum on the fault-finding.

Do I need a new head yellow/black?  The diagnostic report said 'good' for his State.  Are the White streaks that I'm getting a possible symptom of degrading the beginning?  Would like to know the chances that this will fix the issue before falling to $70 (already spent $44 on the cartridge, then it would be a very costly failure if neither ended up help).

What else could be, given the above symptoms?

Thank you in advance for your help!

The black print head certainly does not work for the top 20% or more nozzles do not print correctly.  In my view, the health of the print head is an electrical test on this model, but nozzles can still be blocked.

I would run three rounds of head cycles from the Panel of cleaning as shown in four Solution, third stage here of the document here.  If this does not resolve the problem I suggest to remove the print head and watch the nozzles of the debris.  It is not recommended to manually clean nozzles, but I'd wipe the printhead gently with a damp cloth.  If this helps to improve the diagnostic test can help another cleaning cycle.  If this isn't the case, it may be time for a new printhead.

  • 70 d is the production of shots with white streaks! It cleaned up. Sensor issue! Thoughts?

My 70 d suddenly started taking pictures with a PROMINENT white stripe! The largest aperture that's... that brought me to this could be a dust problem (even though I have never seen dust accumulate so) so I cleaned everything inside. It doesn't seem to help. Any thoughts? It seems that maybe a sensor... problem that I wouldn't replace!

It looks like a shutter problem.

  • White streaked with red lines at the bottom of a line item =?

I imported just one video project from Premiere Pro CS4 AE CS4 and my sequence, one of my clip has a white line striped lines red (like a sugarcane Chrismass) at the bottom of this...

    What does that mean?

    Thank you.

If that's what I think it is, you applied a reverse speed setting at this clip in Premiere Pro. Amazingly enough, slow/fast/reverse speed in video clips settings are converted to equivalents of After Effects when you import a Premiere Pro project.

To check if this is the case, select the layer and go to layer > time > Time Stretch. It should show a negative percentage (like 50%), that is inversion of the movement.

    Guess correctly?

Christmas sugar cane is a rather poetic way of picturing it!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless printer: Always be streak on copies vertical white

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless printer: Still get a vertical white streak down the photos. I changed the yellow/black printhead. Only one aid note said I should try to clean the scanner glass. Where is the scanner glass, and how to do for her?

Other options to get rid of the vertical line?  Thank you.

    Hello

It sounds like a problem with the printer itself, because it is indeed a vertical GIS. A cartridge problem would cause a horizontal issue. You can tru is the cleaning of transport, stem from the metal bar that you see in the printer, and carefully clean the Strip transparant. This with a lot of attention that its rather delicate and if it breaks the device is ready for the trash.

It is the material. You are going to need a new screen. Looks like signs of pressure as if someone put something heavy on top of the portable computer with the display closed, but still running. You want to contact HP to see any replacement under warranty.

  • OfficeJet Pro X576dw': HP Officejet Pro X576dw print stripe, white stripe in the middle of the page

Thus we carried this great printer at our office in one of our customers who got this a month or two before, because he started printing a thick blank tape in the middle of each page.  We tried all of the solutions found on the console of the printer, including the 3rd stage of the print head cleaning utility.  Nothing seems to make a difference.  We took a glance at the printer, but it doesn't appear immediately be repaired by the user unless it is cube-esque method some rubik performing some kind of repair.  We have started a case on the case manager of HP, 5 hours ago, but thought I could get some tips over while I wait.

  • Accumulation of ink in the printhead, producing prints from steraking

    Hello:

We have an HP Photosmart Premium all-in-One (AIO) printer, copier, Scanner.

We receive in stairs horizontal white streaks the bar black, shown in a report of print quality.

We had seen in the past when necessary to clean printheads changed, etc.

This time, removal of ink cartridges and print heads (the chariot holding the ink cartridges), I discovered a heavy accumulation of black ink (not black photo) on the print head.  There was a lot of "gunk".

After a lot of careful cleaning and by installing a new black ink cartridge, the problem of dragging seems if go away, however, we got vertical streaks on the typescripts, located printing roller online with printing black-cartdidge

in the print head.  After successive cleanings of the hand, long rollers (black), the problem seems to have disappeared, although I always test things.

The report print quality looks great, no more vertical streaks.
This required to make several of the main roller cleaning, internal long black to remove black ink has adhered.  It seems that this roller can be removed to be cleaned.  It seems that this roll is part of a motor gear set and is not easily removable.

    My comments/questions are:

Pages 78 and 79 of the 'series of HP Photosmart Premium C309 User Guide', States the following in the article titled, "to assess the value of print quality.

"If all the colored bars have regular white streaks, please refer to the following steps.
If the line 11 on the diagnostic page reads PHA TTOE completed: 0, align the printer.
If line 11 on the diagnostic page displays a different value or alignment is not need help, clean the print head. »

When we run the report of print quality, we get the next State.  PHA TTOE completed: 1.
Is this value of 1, good, bad...?

I didn't see any leak of the black print cartridge.
No idea what can be causing the accumulation of (filth) ink in the print head (the chariot holding the ink cartridges)?

If so, what can I do to avoid this problem in the future?

    Thank you.

    DaleB

Printers you mentioned have different textbooks available for various reasons.   One of the reasons is the LaserJet 4 m is a printer of business and the Photosmart is a consumer printer based.  Business such as the LaserJet 4 m printers are supposed to manage a high volume and because of this expectation, there a lot of replaceable parts that owners need to know how to get to maintain and replace these parts when necessary.  So the manual available for this LaserJet printer will have a more in depth break down parts of the printer and how to disassemble and reassemble the printer.  External documents and guides the user to the Photosmart will not have this information available, because it doesn't have the same capacity or replaceable parts.

  • Do not print Officejet 6700 Premium: Magenta, yellow and new cartridges, others do it.

Replaced all four "setup" in new ink cartridges, they were recognized, show "full ink" on the Panel, but only cyan and black printed, yellow and magenta only. Test print on printer directly report page: same result, cyan and black are OK, yellow and magenta will not print. Any help? Bought these original cartridges again, 933XL.

Thanks for the link/document showing how to solve my problem. I had already done most of the steps proposed but remained the problem of horizontal white streaks in magenta during Diagnostics.

I called HP support, this time to connect to a branch in the United States,-(not supported by the 'HP' I had initially called with foreigners, answering the line who tried to get me to buy a service contract).

HP will send a replacement magenta cartridge and I'll see if that solved the problem. Otherwise, I was told my printer is still within the warranty and will be replaced by another which has been refurbished.

That will be fine. However, it is always frustrating to pay $42.00 for the new original HP ink cartridges, then half their levels making cleaning head printer and diagnostics on an old printer for 2 months of use.

  • Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus scanning issues

I had my Office Jet Pro 8600 more for a few months and have been scanning a pretty good volume without problems.  Now, I have what I believe to be a their material.  That's the problem.  I'm getting random LARGE band (broad sense) about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of black, gray, or white streaks down the pages.  I had the problem of cleaning so I cleaned everything, always there, but not every time.  So I raised the lid and set the paper on the glass, guess what still there.  So now I know that it is NOT a problem of cleaning.  Switch papers, always there.  Is not a problem of cleaning, not a charger problems, not paper I'm scanning.  At this point, the only thing I can think is that some of the scanning light is on the fritz.  It seems to do better after a rest and as I said it comes and goes.  Any ideas anyone?   I think that this could be a problem of default.  Please let me know.

    Hey Boefixepa,

If the printer is to give you a black line when scanning/copying with the ADF and flat, then I would hazard a guess that the printer is connected to a surge protector.  If so, then try the following steps.

    * Unplug the printer while on

Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the surge protector

    * Wait 60 seconds

    * Plug the printer back to power on a direct outlet

The 8600 does not need to have a surge between her protector and the wall unit has protection against overvoltages, built in.  Being doubled surge protection can sometimes cause this type of line to appear using the 8600.  I hope this helps.

  • Photosmart d7260 requires cleaning frequent printhead

I have a photosmart d7260 printer connected to a home network.  My computer is a hp 6730 s running XP service pack 2.  I have print regularly - maybe not everyday but several times a week at least.  A week there's an impossible document print - the printer seems to go through all the motions, but the book came out in white.  No error message.   After trying the task two or three times with the same results, I ran the touch screen of the printer print head cleaning function.  After the first run, the test page showed a few white streaks in the blocks of color, but after the second run everything was fine.  Since then, I have run the print head cleaning function before each print session to obtain good results.  I can print as many pages as I want during a few hours at the computer, but if I leave it for a few hours, I have to run cleaning print head again to get good copies even later the same day.  If I don't, black text can out Brown or some parts of the text or graphics don't print at all.  Needless to say, running clean print head which is often quickly depleting my ink supply.
