LabVIEW crash when calling matlab script?

My version of labview 8.6, Matlab is 7.1. In the beginning, I always get error 1047 when calling matlabscript, then I downloaded recommended matscript.dll (7.1.0.2) and replace the original one (8,6) with this one. 1047 error does not happen. And the matlabscript code can be executed. However the labview crashes after that Matlab is called.

In fact my matlab file works well. At the end of the matlab code, data must be included on the photo. And it is. But after the image is shown, my labview breaks down, and when I reload the labview, it only invites me 'the last time you run labview, it is not stopped normally. The following files are automatically saved and are available for recovery.

I used same monitor recommended treatment. But I can't find any reason. I've removed the scriptnode output, it does the same thing.

anyone has a suggestion. I really appreciate your help.

Jessie

I would say the matscript DLL that you copied on the removal and run a repair on the LabVIEW installation to see if that replaces the missing files.

  • LabVIEW crashes when opening the project

    Hey guys,.

I'm running into an interesting issue where LabVIEW crashes when you open a project. This is the second time I encountered this problem on the same project. To get around it the first time, I simply deleted and remade my project, but since it happened again, I need to find a way to debug it. The symptom is that LabVIEW will crash at the opening of the project (sometimes I can see the screen "loading the vi") with no indication that the accident occurred. It does not even launch the reporter of the error, the process just dies. Anyone know how I can go about debugging it?

    xkenneth86,

What version of LabVIEW? Have you had previous versions of LabVIEW on your computer? You can attach a screenshot of the accident?

Isn't fear. As soon as you close the window is closed by the ActiveX Server and your script will stop running. You can, of course, reduce by using the operating system. Under Windows, you can use the Utilities of Windows API, as provided for in one of the threads of research responses.

  • LabVIEW crash when recording

    Hi Forum

When you try to save an attachment in 8.6 (the file is created in 7.1) LabVIEW crashes with an error from Windows saying that the system has encountered a problem and needs to close.

All the SubVIs register without problems and I do not see that should cause this specific VI to cause trouble.

I searched the forum and tried various things mentioned in other threads on this problem, but none of them seem to help on my VI.

I hope someone has a good suggestion as to what I can do.

    B.R.

The problem seems to be with the typedefs. Specifically, it seems that it is the ring of text. Disconnect the typedefs of 7.1 and allows him to be opened in a newer version. Joined 8.2

  • LabVIEW crashes when programmatically getting the dependencies of a major project

    Hi all

I'm working on a LV application where a project must be created programmatically & its dependencies must be analyzed. But when I add a source folder containing many files (> 1000) LV crashes when obtaining the mention of dependencies (in the method highlighted in the image below). Is there a work around for this problem? Also finally I have to compile this whole code of packaged project library. It requires extra coding?

  • LabVIEW 2010 crash when calling user32.dll

Interesting LabVIEW 2010 'characteristic', I discovered this morning.

Attached are two identical screws, a registered in 2010 and a registered in 2009.  These screws have been written specifically to demonstrate the bug, I came across this afternoon.  Each VI when it is run needs you to find a specific program (window) opened in Microsoft Windows and bring it to the foreground.  It is based on 'user32.dll' to perform this operation.  It also allows you to specify the calling convention for the function call.

LV 2009, calling convention works without error.  However, in LV 2010 the calling convention of the function must be "stdcall (WINAPI)" and not the default value of 'C '.  If the calling convention is 'C' LabVIEW hangs and then closes without warning.

If you happen to have LV 2009 and 2010 LV on your computer, I would like to hear if this phenomenon is duplicated so that I can identify if the bug is LV 2010 related or is more specific to my personal configuration.

    Thank you

  • LabVIEW crashes when loading a project programmatically

    Hi guys,.

I write a VI that loads by program a major project and then programmatically perform some tasks of generation. It is to set up my server to auto (apparently a VM) builds. I got some success with it, however, it is not stable at all.

I find that when he failed, he was always with labview froze at loading of the project, not when VI starts loading. 90% of the time it froze at loading a few HIO I have no knowledge on the files and they are all EITHER word password protected live they can be found at:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\resource\Framework\Providers\lveio\public\EIOResourceTree_Provider_Get [XXXXX] where [XXXXX] varies, some examples are:

    EIOResourceTree_Provider_GetRequiredBooleanProperty

    EIOResourceTree_Provider_GetRequiredFilePathProperty

    EIOResourceTree_Provider_GetRequiredI32Property

Sometims it could freeze at loading the files in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\vi.lib\eio\errors

As soon as he finishes to load these files, it would be a good race without any problems. But now I get only managed to all attempts at 8 or 9, which is totally unbearable.

Another note, if I run LabView.exe manually, then load the project, it will never fail. This freezing problem happens when the project has been programmatically lanuched.

    Any idea is appreciated.

Here is a solution I found earlier but forgot to update here:

-L' trick is to add a little delay (about 3 seconds) at the beginning of the VI of highest level. in my case, I added a delay of 5 seconds before the first basic Path.vi call. See ss below.

I guess that the cause is the result that LabVIEW has some race conditions or mishandling of the sequence during its initialization process.

  • iCloud Pref. Crashes when called Via Spotlight

I just upgraded to 10.11.4 via the combo update, and this may or may not be the source of my problem, because I have not consulted iCloud prefs for awhile before today.

I usually access iCloud prefs Via Spotlight, and now, when I do, I get a crash report titled 'com.apple.preferences.icloud.remoteservice close unexpectedly. If I have very well the crash report, I enter iCloud prefs but I suspect that I have all of the features.

If I left the System Prefs and do the same thing again, I get the crash again. In this repeatable case, 100% of the time.

However, if I open the Prefs system first, either in the menu Apple or via Spotlight, I can then click on the tab "iCloud" and iCloud prefs open without the accident.

I tried to open 6 or 8 of the other System Prefs.panes directly via Spotlight and they all open very well. It seems that it is only iCloud Prefs which gives error opening directly via Spotlight.

I started in Safe Mode, a couple of times since the upgrade, and I also visited ~/Library/Preferences and ransacked everything with "icloud" in the name and restarted.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks to advamce,

  • LabVIEW crashes when you open a file

I have a simple vi which has aims to build a custom set of labview applications.  At times the .vi is corrupted (with no rhyme or reason).  After the vi get corrupted it won't open in labview and the following error message appears in the windows event viewer.  Note that any other vi will open ok after that is the case.  Any ideas on what is happening with the .vi in question?

LabVIEW information: error: 404 "not found" to "example of national instruments/labview/nor finder/1.0/niexamplefinderserver", file "c:/program files (x 86) /national instruments/shared/or Server Web/www/national instruments/labview/or example finder/1.0/niexamplefinderserver ': can not access the URL.

Very simple.  He did what I told it to do.

The BuildCreator.vi is set to run when open. When run, the last thing it does is to quit LabVIEW.

So what can you do about it? Open a new VI. Place Creator.vi to build on the block schema as a sub - VI. Then open the Subvi.  It opens in edit mode.

  • LabVIEW crashing when you build the application (exe)

    Hello

I am building an application from a simple labview vi (2011). The vi is that sets (boolean = TRUE) a line on the digital output card (NI 9472) when I start to run the vi. The program works very well after that I coded it. But when I try to compile an exe (application) of this project, then labview hangs in the build process. Is this a known issue? Help, please. I enclose my vi alongwith this email

    Thank you

I'm sorry to hear that gascars.  I downloaded your project and VI and have successfully built an executable in LabVIEW 2011 and 2012 of LabVIEW.  Can you please send me a screenshot of the error you receive?  Also, can you make a simple VI that adds two numbers and see if that can be transformed into a .exe.

    Thank you

  • LabView crashes after calling DLL

    Hello

I'm working on a library that makes calls to the other dll, which is linked dynamically.

I have to do this, customize the DLL search order before the call and add a few custom directories (where are the dll called).

The called code works very well, and doesn´t in the DLL called memory leak, however LabView is suspended.

It took me a long time to understand this, so I hope this helps someone in the future. Below is the solution.

LabView uses its own research agenda DLL, so beware of assistance call "SetDefaultDllDirectories" regarding the whole process and LabView DLL management function will burst.

Allways avoid using flags in the LoadLibraryEx.
