  As far as I know, the list of supported resolutions is determined solely by the graphics card. It is possible that one used by the PC supports only 800 x 600 as maximum resolution, even if you plug an external monitor.

  Like Dennis suggested, the recommended option would probably be to develop on another PC and only deploy an executable for the industrial PC. That's what we do with our systems (although not because of this problem, but because it makes sense. There absolutely no need to have the IDE installed in most of our systems).

  Other options:

  1. See if you can get an update of the driver from the manufacturer to solve this problem.
  2. Plug a USB Monitor with its own driver.
  3. Try to hide the taskbar and make the smaller title bar in the hope that the bug manifests.
  4. Try remote access in the PC. I think that some remote access programs allow you to specify custom resolutions that are not affected by the original drivers. Remote Desktop seems to be a likely this option even if it has been awhile since I've used it.
  5. Check the BIOS. I saw at least one industrial PC where there was some settings in the BIOS to control the resolution, but I don't remember the details, and it was quite limited. I think that in this case, you can change the resolution, but then the image does not fill the entire screen.

  What you do doesn't make too much sense. You do a lot of programmatic errors. You should learn how to properly use the Structures of the event (through the Core 1 and 2 training materials). You should put controls (action buttons, control Boolean OK) associated with a case of event in the event company. Moreover, the reason why your grip VI: in your Subvi you close the front panel of your VI via the property node, but it will still be running, you do not set a mechanism to stop the VI.

  

  Did you watch a few appropriate screws coming with LabVIEW examples? Go to file--> new...--> a UI event handler. Open it and watch how it works...

• Programmatically create new consumers in a MANUAL

  Howdy, I am struggling with a concept for an installation of BAU.  Say I have a main VI consisting of one producer and single consumer sharing a queue, which can be filled in entries/actions of the main front of the VI.  Convening of reentrant under reference screw consumers live each of them open their own front panels and run their own QMD, or other machine state until closed by the user.  It occupies the main VI consumers until the responsible VI is closed, as consumers waited for the release of the call by the reference node, even if the called VI have not may not be output.  So the main VI would be able to queue more elements, but these elements would not be executed until execution of the first element is complete (the called VI), and an additional contribution of the façade of the main VI not would not be executed as long as the new face before a was closed.

  To resolve this problem, I thought adding more consumers (with the same subsidiary screws) to the same producer, creating new queues for each consumer, and then when a new item is added to the structure of the event in the producer, he wondered each queue looking for a queue (and thus a consumer) that contains zero element in queue and adds the new queues.  This should ensure that in case of more great events of façade VI, they would run even with another open front.

  But this means I can have only as many windows open as I do in my VI main consumers.  My question is, is it possible to call a VI so that it does not occupy the while loop containing his appeal through the reference node until the front panel of the VI called is closed?

  Also I just tried it. Setting of the façade open when a property called on a VI is not enough. You must explicitly open it with an invoke node. And you must specify the reference open VI it is reentrant, even if you have the reentrant VI properties.

  I think I understand instructions how to fix or remove a corrupted profile, but that does not apply to the guest account or profiles that do not exist.

  Help?  Ideas?

  This has proved to contain leads to a difficulty.  Have to admit, when I read everything the first time, several days, I did indeed find it confusing and even the parts that I "heard" (sorta) does not appear to be related to my symptoms.

  It turns out that the answer of JDMICHAL May 17, 2011 contained this:

  (1) C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows open live
  (2) this directory has two subdirectories with a single file of each. Go into each directory and apply the following:
  (a) make a right click on the file, open the properties.
  (b) click the Security tab.
  (c) it will issue a message: "to continue, you must be an administrative user with permission to view this object's security properties. Would continue you? ». Click on the button continue.
  (d) click on the Add button...
  (e) ' everyone' type in the box at the bottom of the dialog box. Click on "check names"; It should be emphasized the "everyone". Click OK.
  (f) ensure that the new "Everyone" entry "read" and "read & run" check under the column "allow".

  By chance, do you have re-defined the default data directory in LabVIEW?  LabVIEW uses to host files for the warp threads, and if you moved from its default position in your profile (C:\Users\\Documents\LabVIEW data), especially if you moved it to the root of C:, it could become unalterable.  This must remain in your profile!

  If you change the volume, it is likely that the recovery partition will not work.  I suggest that you create a set of recovery media before playing with partitions.
