LabView is not USB device

Hallo,

I have LabView 8.5 installed and two LogicBoxes (NIMbox NDL8 and NAD4) via the USB port connected. By typing in the good NIMbox NDL8 USB ID in the

All VISA

everything worked well. Then I realized that this does not work for the other module, so I tried the switch cables and reinstalled the USB driver.

The current situation:

Windows XP detects USB devices without any problem - always has. However, all of a sudden I can't connect in LabView with them by typing

in the USB - ID. All the time the modules never showed up to the MAX, but since they are not instruments NOR I think who had to wait anyway.

I have no idea why it worked first in part and now it doesn't work at all.

Even if my description of the problem is sort of vague - I'm new to LabView.

I would really appriciate advice, I should check in order to get USB working again things.

Thank you!

Nathan

Many have reported similar problems, until recently.

Do a little research on the forum. Look also for "series problem."

Although I never had problems...

Try renaming the com e.g. com1 to com3 ports.

Also install the latest VISA drivers

    Hello

If you have tried all basic troubleshooting and device is showing to work properly and no noise of conflict-it you may need to reinstall the USB controllers to recognize.

To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:

    * Click Start, run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.

    * Click the Hardware tab.

    * Click on the Device Manager button.

    * Expand Bus USB controllers.

    * Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize FAT32 formatted devices / Windows asks you to format a USB device in FAT32

I have a question about Windows recognizes only not USB devices formatted in FAT32.

The biggest symptom is Windows asking to format any device that has FAT32 (indicates RAW file format in disk management. The format will fail unless NTFS is used (which is unacceptable for the SD cards used in cameras, etc.).

I have a Toshiba Satellite P755 with USB 3 port and three USB 2 ports, running under Windows 7 64-bit. Type computer apparently and for most device type is not relevant to this subject after doing some extensive research.

    1. I tried SFC / SCANNOW with no result

    2. I uninstalled all the USB drivers and drivers of devices on SD card with no result

    3. I created a new profile and flies over my files with no result

    4. I searched the net and found a plethora of people having the same problem on several versions of Windows but not confirmed of the solution.

    5. I tried the fix for troubleshooting of hardware from Microsoft with no result.

The devices I've used are pen drives, to several types of SD cards flash drives and external hard drives. These devices are confirmed to work on several other computers configurations in different windows. When formatted in NTFS all works but like I already said, SD cards will not work in the cameras etc. to NTFS.

I think that the computer of wiping and again is not the problem. After researching, I discovered this problem has been around for many years and followed by Windows XP throughout Windows 8 forums and blogs that I read. I'm surprised Microsoft doesn't have a fix for this yet.

Hello and sorry for the delay.

I tried this before with the same results. My pen drives and large SD card worked until the problem occurred. Windows 7 has lost the ability to recognize the FAT32 devices.

I think I found the problem, however. My USB key must have failed in some way. After checking all my media work properly on a free desktop running windows 7 64, I jumped into a thumb sansa player and that's when I started having errors on this computer as well. This time, no data survived.

I went back to my laptop and formatted by a new copy of windows Professional 64-bit. The laptop works great and recognizes all FAT32 media I throw at it. I do not use the USB key suspect for fear that it might cause problems again.

And so far so good a few weeks later. Everything works great. I used FAT32 media without any problem. I'm sure it was the reader. I guess that he worked at masked the fact that it was the cause of the problems. Strange that this would produce windows FAT32 to reject.

  • Why not my Macbook Pro to manage over 3 USB devices?

To make music, I need 3 usb devices. However, my macbook has only 2 usb ports. I thought that using a hub usb can help, but every time I plug 3 devices (one on macbook and usb hub with two usb devices), one of the devices does not work.

For example, I have an audio interface, a mouse and a keyboard. When all three are connected, the midi keyboard does not work (is not recognized). When I unplug the mouse, the keyboard is recognized.

There is no work around for this? It would be a problem with my usb hub?

The devices have their own supply or is the hub, a powered hub? If it's a powered hub connecting all three devices inside.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119: USB charge, but does not sync devices

    Dear folk to HP support,

I have a situation very similar to the mentioned in this thread, the only difference is my OS: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Software-and-How-To-Questions/VGA-and-USB-Driver-Not-Working/m-...

With any device (iPad, Samsung Galaxy, FIIO x 1), if I plug it into my laptop the device starts to load, but is not synchronized and I can't access or transfer data between the laptop and the device.

I tried to disable the drivers and their reset. I tried to reset hard devices. None of these help.

This laptop came with pre-installed Windows 8.1. I have it wiped and now have a manually installed Windows 10 (64-bit). I have difficulties to find specific drivers. I used the HP support assistant and he tells me that everything is up to date. Windows tells me as the drivers are up to date, but I wonder if the drivers are generic and not specific to this laptop.

Where I find a better driver? Or are there other solutions?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Satellite M60: USB devices do not work

    Hello...
I have a Satellite M60 and all USB devices with microphone (webcam, VoIP phone) do not work.

If someone could help with some suggestions, I would be grateful.

    Hello

What do you mean by "not working"? The operating system recognizes external USB devices?
Have you installed the drivers of these external USB devices?
I also have a webcam and I had to install the drivers provided to use the device.

  • Satellite Pro M70: removal of the USB device causes other peripheral USB does not work

Withdrawal/use of a USB for a USB device causes devices on USB port to get affected.

Satellite Pro M70-199 (2 GB RAM)
Windows XP Pro (SP2) with all updates of Windows installed until end of October 2006.
This laptop has 3 USB ports.
An Eicon Diva ISDN USB modem is connected to a USB port.

When certain devices connected to a different USB port are deleted (even if removed safely with "eject" or "remove device safely", it causes the ISDN modem to file either a double channel (64 k + 64 k) ISDN, or for the ISDM modem to disconnect completely.)

Cause this include any memory stick USB, MP3 player (ipod and creative zen) and so on.

Do other devices, such as USB external hard drives & sometimes external DVD USB drives, and sonetimes do not produce this problem.

    Is this a known issue?
If it is a hardware interrupt problem, how to solve it?
This problem is related to the modem and the laptop?

As a note, in addition, intermittent (random) times (cannot reproduce all the time, but it happens once or twice a day) when a USB device is accessible it causes the modem USB ISDN to drop a single channel, even if the lights on the modem still show it as it is connected. In this case and the case above, the only way to get the modem ISDN USB running again is physically disconnect and reconnect.

The reason why it is a crucial issue is that:
    (1) the modem speed is halved or disconnected
    (2) the ISP continues to full rate for a double load connection even if a channel has been dropped.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I have Satellite M70-159 and I didn t notice any strange problems with the USB ports. I use a few of them as printer, webcam, USB, memory stick, optical mouse, and external HARD drive. The devices are recognized correctly and I always remove without option delete without danger.

Now I have Vista pre-installed and there is no problem so far. If I understand you right USB ports work fine but there is problem with USB modem only. Am I wrong?
Also try to contact the producer of modem support. Is perhaps the question like this known and if all goes well, they have a logical explanation.

  • Booklet - USB device not recognized error message

    Hello

I have a workaround for this problem that occasionally occurs. It's just to reconnect the USB hub (as recommended by Windows). I was wondering if anyone knows why this happens and how to fix it. The error is: -.

"Unrecognized USB device. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize.

Roob (2 ports) USB hubs - unused Port, unknown device.

Recommendation: try to re-connect. If Windows does still not it, replace the device. "

I can't wait to hear back on your part.
    Kind regards
    Julia.

    Hello Julia

It is always advantageous to mention which model you have exactly. Of course the external device is not correctly recognized. Check if there is a driver that must be installed before you can use it properly.

  • Satellite A500 - USB devices not recognized

I have a new Satellite A500 and it now will not 'see' one of the connected devices (Modem 3 G, an iPhone). I checked on Device Manager and it is showing as active USB ports and works correctly and has run the PC Diagnostic tool, which showed everything (including USB) in the work.

Can anyone suggest how to fix this?

    See you soon,.
    GG

    Hi GG,.

I think that it of difficult to say something about it, if you display any information about your operating system.

The only thing I can suggest to remove all the USB ports on the Device Manager and restart the laptop. The USB ports will recognize again. In my case it worked and I was able to reuse my USB devices. :)

  • Portege R700-17Z bios not recognizing USB devices

    Hello

I'm after some advice on a problem I'm having with my R700, I can't get the laptop to recognize USB hard drives start-up stage. I am trying to use Acronis to create an image that I have 40 of these laptops.

The CD-ROM USB CD drive is recognized and is therefore a Corsair USB pen (which is unfortunately not large enough), but I have three hard drives USB (a Freecom Tough Drive, Buffalo MiniStation and Western Digital passport) and none of them are recognized by the BIOS. Legacy USB emulation is enabled.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you, Karen

    Hello

The BIOS does not support * USB HDD * as a boot device. Any reader USB CD/DVD or USB stick is bootable USB devices.

  • PRS-600 USB device not recognized

I am unable to get ereader PRS-600 to be recognized by the computer (Win7).
I tried to update the software (even if I think it's in)
(date) but the window 'connect a PRS-600 to update' does not progress and the update button is dimmed.
I deleted the "unknown device" in the drivers, but when I reconnect the USB cable and the ereader, I always get the display of device not recognized and the message "USB device not recognized".

I seem to have solved the problem. I contacted Sony through esupport and a chat with a tech.

Make sure that the battery has some charge inside. Completely charge if you can.
    Stop eReader (fully)
    Remove the SD card
Press the button Reset (at the bottom of the ereader)
    Turn it on
While the display shows "Open book", at the same time press the button to "turn the page" (back) and the Volume button until the "Reset All" + screen
Enter 'Yes' to reset the ereader. You may need to configure the screen (X button with the tip to draw at various points)
If you charge the battery, you may need to contact the support chat for sorting.

    Good luck!

    Hi Geoff

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have. Try to remove the device from Device Manager, and then restart your device. All USB ports should be recognized again. Check please if it will happen again.

You can also see Toshiba site is THAT BIOS update available for download. Maybe a BIOS update can help you.

  • USB devices not seen on Satellite Pro A60

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my laptop Satellite Pro A60 running Windows XP Home: it is simply not to see all devices at all. Devices (USB, fan keys) are to be supplied with electricity, but I can find no trace of them on the computer anywhere. It is even not complain that they are not recognized - it's as if they were not there. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers of hub USB root/controllers, but that has not helped.

It is the latest in a string a glitches that can be helpful to know: a few weeks ago, the ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP suddenly caused windows crash at boot time. I could just sort the problem by updating the bios and reinstall the ATI drivers (all toshiba). It is not of course the relevance, but after the bios update I also improved the 6 F-secure antivirus software. XX to 7.01.

Usually, I try to get as much as I can by reading these forums but I'm not a guru of computing and on this one, I'm out of ideas - because Windows is not identify any fault, I don't even know what to look for on google... Someone has an idea?

    Thank you very much

    Philippe

Hmm, you said that you have already reinstalled the drivers of USB controllers/root hub.

    But maybe you should try to make this again as a result of this procedure;
    -Disconnect all USB devices
-go to the Device Manager and change the view to display hidden devices.
-Open the tree of the USB controller and remove all controllers.
-Restart the computer and wait until the OS has installed everything again.
-Then plug the USB devices to the USB ports for laptop

If this does not help, it would be desirable to recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD supplied.

    Good luck
