  I'm currently building a website using Actinic v9 CMS and Dreamweaver CS3 for a project. I posted the same topic on Actinic forums.

  Actinic has a built-in connection system and it uses a Microsoft Access database (I think that the version 2000). What I'm trying to do in Dreamweaver CS3, is to create a secure registration function. Basically how it works is as follows:

  A php script runs and passes on the information on the form to be temporarily stored in a MySQL database. A javascript written a password generated randomly to be read by php - php send an email with the attached code and user name - also temporarily stored in MySQL.

  When the user enters a hyperlink in the email, they will fill in their user name and the password - password is then recovered by an another php for the MySQL database by finding the correct username. A Javascript will see if both match and answer 'true' or 'false' for the php script. If this is true, php will retrieve all user data from the MySQL server and put it in Microsoft Access database of Actinic. If it's false, php will write the code is incorrect and ask the user to retype the fields. After five attempts, php will wipe away the registration of the user of the MySQL database and will have to re-register.

  What I need to know, it's can handle MS Access databases and how Dreamweaver CS3 can help me with this? I have already learned how to manage MySQL in php, it's that I never used Access to the web databases before. Until I started with Actinic, I don't think you could.

  in dreamweaver, click WINDOWS in the top menu and select the DATABASES

  After a click on the + symbol and select custom connection string.

  You must export the data from "ms access" as .mdb, then import it from dreamweaver.

• Call the function in LabView from a DLL, and then access the global variable of DLL

  I've created a DLL in LabWindows with a function and structure.  I want to call the function from LabView and then access the overall structure.  I am able to call the function in the DLL with a "call library function node" and has access to the return value, but I can't understand how to access the overall structure.  The structure is declared in the header DLL with __declspec (dllimport) struct parameters file.

  Is it possible to access this structure without using the library of network variables?

  My guess is that you need two bytes of padding after "in_out" and another to two bytes of padding after "anin."  The reason being that ints are 4 bytes, and most of them C compilers will align on 4-byte boundaries.  The struct will naturally start to such a limit (in fact, in Windows, it will probably start to an 8 byte boundary).  If you then count bytes in your structure, you are 70 byte after "in_out."  70 is not divisible by 4, so you need 2 bytes more to reach the next 4 byte boundary.  You can also you could reorganize your struct so that "anin" follows "in_out" and this is probably the best option if it won't cause you other problems.

  Unlike most C compilers, LabVIEW compressed structures as closely as possible, without filling.  I don't know enough about the history of LabVIEW and internal parts to explain the reasons and to do this performance penalty, but, as choice of LabVIEW "endianness", it is probably a remnant of the first versions of LabVIEW that were running on the Mac.

  If for some reason you want to force your C struct to match package LabVIEW, you can use the #pragma pack (x) directive, but I wouldn't recommend that here because you can control the C and LabVIEW.

  EDIT: in the cases where it was not clear, add padding to your cluster of LabVIEW, insert appropriate size or items at the place desired in the cluster.

  I work with access mocrosoft to save my data from the trial of LabVIEW.

  My development PC of all right, I can read write and delete access data, as I expect.

  When I create the .exe and move it to the laboratory, the VI is suspended on a connection error.  with a path that is not on my development pc or the PC lab.

  The long and short of the erroe message is there is a problem with my connection string.  This chain is more or less just out of the LabVIEW example. "Provider = Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0; Persist Security Info = False; Data Source=%s\\.

  The rest of the string is the name of the access database.

  The error is an ADO error

  ADODB. Connectiony cannot be found

  The laboratory of PC has no access or LabView installed...

  Any help is appreciated.

  Do I need to access on the target computer?  Or is there something I did wrong when I built the .exe?

  Research, are thousands of examples on the web related to the jet and sql database. This is a very basic select statement. Access to a query wizard that can then show the sql code. If you don't know how to design a query in access, you need a Basic for this tutorial. No question of LabVIEW here.

  I'm using Labview 2011 and trying to establish communication with webrelay (X-WR-4R1-l) to control its relay.

  I downloaded a www.ni.com example but it does not work.  (he was tied with this thread as well)

  I turned ON all 4 relays this webrelay, but in labview, it reads that the relays are turned OFF.

  Something seems truncated. Is there something after realy4state in the received string? Because the string is longer, you will need to adjust the number of bytes read. It's more than the 157, which corresponds to the current setting.

  In all cases, their example LabVIEW is a unique feature of relay. You need to look at section 3.2 of the manual that you set for the correct orders. Now there is always a number between 'relay' and 'State' for example:

  1State = 1 for relay activate relay 1.

  You must do two things:

  Write a trainer who composed the correct channels based on the selected relay.

  Write a parser that retrieves the status of all four relays relay. (the offsets will be different, for example)

  I recommend you to treat the four relays as an array of four Boolean values.

  I'm new to LabVIEW but I am facing something very difficult.

  I develop with LabVIEW 2012 on a cRIO-9082, and I would use a specific DLL in a VI. The DLL is called TcAdsDll.dll and it is used to communicate with a PLC. (This DLL is provided by Beckhoff, for more information: http://infosys.beckhoff.com/index_en.htm TwinCAT > TwinCAT system > TwinCAT connectivity > TwinCAT ADS).

  When I use the 'library of the call' function with the DLL, I get an error 7. I'm just trying to call a simple function of the DLL.

  I know that in LabVIEW RT (Pharlab) only certain DLLs are supported. I also checked the DLL with the tool of NEITHER, but after the 10th dependend DLL calling it just hangs.

  If someone is able to provide assistance, I would be very grateful!

  A DLL must call only Win32 API supported by the Pharlap ETS system in question in the first place. Since NO guard updated the ETS with almost every new version of LabVIEW it depends actually. DLL checking tool is the only way I know to check this. If this DLL checking failures, or as in your case tool breaks down, the DLL is not justifiable on the RT system. The Beckhoff ADS DLL is a complex beast with many dependencies on any other DLLs Beckhoff and what else, and as such a bad candidate to run on NI RT systems.

  In addition to this fundamental questions, you have additional problems with the Microsoft c runtime library in his infinite wisdom, has decided to create a new C runtime library version with each new version of Visual C. It is already a problem for a developer when deploying to standard PC Windows, but gets a problem almost unmanagabel when targeting something as Pharlap ETS. NEITHER seems to have paid the MS C runtime for their version of the toolchain Visual C of choice for LabVIEW RT system, but this isn't an option for you. If the 3rd party DLL to be used has been compiled in a version of Visual different C that ANYTHING used for the RT version you want to use, then you almost certainly run into trouble, unless the DLL was created with Visual C 6.0 (now a very old version)!

  I've created in the past as a VI based entirely the LabVIEW ADS communication library. It is a tedious job to know the actual byte stream protocol. Unfortunately it is not something that I can share with the community.

  Your best bet would probably be to use the cRIO Ethercat solution and go with an Ethercat on your PLC interface. EtherCAT is sort of a superset of the ADS interface.

  Maybe you can also talk with these guys here. They have a few ADS LabVIEW library and Ethercat libraries too. Not sure if they are basic DLLS and if they would be compatible with LabVIEW RT well.

• Routing and remote access - on three subnetworked, two subnet unable to reach to the internet!

  I had a problem in Routing and remote access on windows 2003 server.  This server is already configured as a file server, domain server, and application server. Also configured as a router (thanks to access routing & remote) to connect the three different networks with each other. If this server has three NICs installed and each separate NIC network cards represent.

  three different networks are - 192.42.160.0/24, 192.42.161.0/24, 192.42.162.0/24

  Three cards of the NETWORK adapter installed on the server as with the IP - next

  NIC - 1 = 192.42.160.220, Sub - 255.255.255.0, gateway - No.

  NIC - 2 = 192.42.161.220, Sub - 255.255.255.0, gateway - 192.161.220.112 (this ip address for internet access then 4 g router IP)

  -3 = 192.42.162.220, NETWORK cards, Sub - 255.255.255.0, gateway - No.

  Now the question is I can get Internet & (also scathing in router ip 192.42.161.112) one network i.e. - 192.42.161.0/24, BUT when I try to access the internet from another two network (192.42.160.0/24 & 192.42.162.0/24) I can not access and in addition can not ping to internet router ip - 192.42.161.112...

  So, how do I access the internet to another two network also?

  I was already the configuration of static routing for all three network but I wasn't always successful. I don't really know what exactly static routing this should be done in access routing & remote area so that all three network can reach to the internet?
