Podcast episode missing iTunes

Hello!

An episode of my podcast does not appear in my iTunes page, but is present on the RSS.

My iTunes page:

https://iTunes.Apple.com/podcast/goplaythat/id960695374

My RSS:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/SoundCloud/GPT

My SoundCloud page:

https://soundcloud.com/goplaythat

Lack of the episode:

Firewatch, SUPERHOT and Indie Game price

The episode is present in the Podcasts iOS and iOS podcast that I personally use (called Pocket Casts), so I'm not sure of the impact of this problem. I had to re - download this episode following a registration issue, so I deleted my RSS feed before adding it again. The replacement made his way to the RSS without problem, but iTunes does not seem to have found version 2 correctly, at this particular place.

If I could get help on this, I would be very happy. Thank you!

Rob.

The store has been slow to be updated recently, sometimes missing episodes in total. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

    My Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/providenceaustin/sermons

I manage the podcast of our Church, and I'm having a problem with some missing episodes. I checked my stream for errors, but I have not found any, and episodes are missing through the iTunes store (they appear if you look at just the stream itself, or if you pull up the stream to help another customer podcast). But many of our users go through iTunes, so I understand what the problem is.

So far, I noticed two missing episodes in recent months. They are both of the same itunes:author (we have several authors on our flow), which is the only resemblance, I noticed. But there are correctly shown episodes of this author. Other than that, I don't know what is happening. The episodes in question are the most recent episode of this past Sunday, June 5, 2016. And the other is from March 20, 2016.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You have probably fallen on an intermittent bug in the store where some episodes do not appear, even if all episodes appear when you subscribe. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. • Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

    Hello

For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me. My flow is updated very well, he retired to a third party validator and I am able to find the episode in Stitcher-and - Google Play, but iTunes does not seem to recognize it.

I clicked manually "Refresh" in iTunes Podcast Connect, but it doesn't seem to help.

The only clue is that last week is the first time, the episode did not show immediately in the iTunes store. Downloaded immediately for subscribers, he did not himself available in the iTunes store for about 24 hours. What I read is not terribly unusual, so we were not concerned. But this week is different without showing for subscribers.

Thanks in advance for your help. I am already receiving messages from listeners, wondering where the hell is the last episode. ACK!

The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

Oh, and here's my podcast in iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/young-house-love-has-a-podcast/id1122376417? mt = 2

And here is the feed (it is hosted through libsyn):http://younghouselove.libsyn.com/rss

Again, it is the #18 episode that does not appear in iTunes. Thank you!

  • Podcast only update second last episode on iTunes, not later...?

    Hello

My podcast only has been updated showing the second last episode on iTunes, and not the newly released episode (for example: I've published 13 episode, it was shown on iTunes, then when you release episode 14, no up-to-date.) After I pulled episode 15, episode 14, put to date but not 15, as the problem persists).

I did nothing and made no changes to any settings or options in recent weeks. I contacted Apple's Support on this matter and did not get a response in 2 weeks, unfortunately, so I thought that the forums would be a better option. I don't have any plugins running, etc. Everything worked and the problem seems to occur at random.

I noticed a few other subjects with similar problems, but certainly not the same as mine, and with none of the available solutions.

Thank you and appreciate the help.

The problem has been resolved as if by magic. I edited the blog post using my RSS from 21:00 to 21:15 and he seemed to cool and appear in iTunes. I don't know if it was a problem with the time, 9 pm' or if I just need to change anything and that he would help appear on iTunes. Weird that this problem has occurred on iTunes and not on any other podcast service using my RSS.

    Hope that helps others!

  • Updated recent podcast episodes don't not in iTunes

    Hey-

I recently updated my work from my website based on wordpress podcast podcast: http://www.petegodfreyshow.com/

No only if the work has NOT been updated for the last image, but now the last episode of my podcast (episode 41) only is not updated in iTunes.

Here's the URL to display on iTunes:

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/au/podcast/Pete-Godfrey-persuasion-show/id974929944?MT= 2

My podcast feed seems to have updated on Stitcher (including the new cover art), so I'm not sure what's going on with iTunes.

    Any help would be great.

Food seems to be OK, and the last episode appears when you subscribe in iTunes. As it was apparently published on 19, he should have appeared now. Sometimes the store enters a slow patch and takes much longer than usual to update, and maybe it's what is happening here. It will probably be to sort itself eventually. You can try to contact Support, although I can't promise that they will not help. Go to https://itunespodcasts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and click on the triangle to the right of the field "Choose a topic" - choose 'Other' and proceed from there.

Regarding the image, it's perhaps just a part of the same problem, also a long time that you have changed the file name when you changed the image. However, your image is 528ko, plus the maximum 500kB which was declared in force, even though it has more recently been suggested that this limitation is no longer in place. I have no way to verify this, but you could reduce the size of the file to be on the safe side.

  • Presentation Podcast on the iTunes store.

I am having some problems with the presentation of my podcast episodes.

Lets say hypothetically I want to release a new podcast episode on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. When should I submit the RSS feed URL for EACH episode to iTunes, to ensure that each episode will be published in due course. Im trying to figure out how many days in advance, I need to submit the RSS URL to apple for the episodes to release from time to time.

There is no hard and fast rule about this. Usually, it takes 1 to 2 days for one episode to appear in the store, although the subscribers they will see as soon as their iTunes application checks the flow. You can not really do something the delay taken in the store, which caches the stream and check the new items in a kind of spin. Either incidentally, should actually send the stream to the store when you add a new episode, just add and re - publish workflow.

  • Change the order of Podcast episodes

Hello. I wish I had my eps podcast playing high down, as right now the ep albums is number 67 but I would so he could play at the 1 and keep going down. Is there a way to do this? I went to iTunes, click on the tab release date for the podcast and it reversed, then I synced and then ejected, but when I open it in my classic ipod, they always start at 67. I don't know what else to do. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the only way to play the classic Podcast episodes in the correct order is to put them in a playlist in the order you want them to play. (I know, why anyone would design a menu that time dated material only in reverse-date order?) He has no sense!)

    • These are audio podcasts, you should be able to create a playlist on your iPod On-The-Go and use this selection.
    • Videos must put in a playlist in iTunes and then sync them to your iPod. They can then be played as videos on the classic, navigating in the Main Menu for Playlists of videos and Video or the video playlists section.
    • If you put videos in a playlist On-The-Go , they will play only the audio.
    • If you play a video, listed as part of an audio Playlist, then once again, it will play only audio content.
    • If an audio Playlist contains videos, videos only also appear in the playlists video positions and play as a video.

    Complicated, huh?

  • One of my podcast episodes will not be shown on itunes!

Episode #6 will not be displayed even if its on our food. He Wen to applications podcast of our subscriber with no problem, but its not appearing is not on itunes. The next episode, #7 shows!

You should look at a true podcast host for your show.

  • iTunes does not display my last podcast episode

    Hello

Recently, I switched podcast host and appear to have been able to get a redirect from my old Web host. I accidentally created two of the podcast even during the transition period and recently deleted the one that I thought to be that of the iTunes store. Everything seems to be good but when I check my iTunes store the url from iTunes connect my last episode is not there, but it appears on my podcast on my phone app and it plays very well. Not really sure why this is happening so any help is appreciated

    Thank you

New episodes may take 1-2 days to appear in the store, although they appear immediately for subscribers (who read the stream directly, while the store is cached and visits in a kind of rotation).

I don't know if that's the problem here. I can't answer you any unless you post the URL of your store and your feed page.

  • Lack of Podcast episode

    Hello

Episode 17 of my podcast, heroes of the screen, is absent from iTunes. I checked my RSS feeds and I don't see any problems. What are the next steps to determine the cause of the missing episode?

Episode 17 was published on 13 April. I asked a power refresh this morning, and the episode I posted yesterday, episode 18, appears.

    My feed URL: http://griddaily.com/feed/podcast/screenheroes

    Podcast iTunes URL: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/screen-heroes/id1071922623?mt=2

    Thank you!

There was a lot of that kind of thing. All you can do is to contact Support and ask for a re-indexing. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • 1 Podcast episode appears not

    Hi guys,.

We have 3 podcasts on itunes, and they seem to work fine, except one. On our podcast of insiders of the therapy, the latest episode is not displayed, even if everything seems to be working very well from what I see.

    This is the podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/therapy-insiders/id609009250?mt=2

    It's the power supply: http://feeds.feedburner.com/therapyinsiderspodcasts

Can someone please take a look at the food and let me know if something is wrong.

I appreciate it, thank you in advance!

Your last episode appears when you subscribe. It was published just yesterday, so there is nothing unusual in his not appearing yet - there are usually 1 to 2 days for a new episode to appear. It must appear in another day or so - if she does not go to Podcasts Connect, connect, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. Go to https://itune

  • Podcasts & episodes multiplying like a plague

A lot of podcasts is listed several times, usually with the same episodes inside. In the attached example, it shows the New Yorker: Fiction twice with the same five episodes inside plus another six times with the same two episodes inside.

Any who found a solution for this problem? I already tried churn, deletion, and then Resubscribing on all synchronized devices, and not only on the iPad.

This seems to happen whenever changes the stream URL for a podcast. In the past, I made an effort to fix my old episodes with an external editor (because iTunes cannot get on the ground) and then refreshed iTunes view of information that fixed things. However, it is quite too tedious to do on a regular basis and I dropped.

  • Suddenly missing iTunes library

Today I went to Itunes on my desktop of Windows 10 playing a song in Itunes to find my entire missing library. I don't know what happened to my entire library to disappear? My entire library is intact my my Iphone 6 just for information. Finally, I played a song in Itunes on Friday, July 29, 2016. My current computer is Corsair 500R computer, Gigabyte G1 Gaming 7 motherboard with Intel i7 Skylake case to unlocked and 16 gigs GSKILL Trident DDR4 Ram. I have Itunes version 12.4.3.1. I had almost 15 gigs of music in my library and I would like to find a way to get this library. Any help would be appreciated.

I wanted people to know that I don't have a recent database or my Itunes library file.

  • Path missing iTunes Songs (already tried script)

    Hello

recently I moved all of my itunes library to my new computer (Mac-> Windows), I noticed that some songs bad location path, and I discovered that the songs with special characters (like aeioun, Yes, I'm Spanish) are those who have suffered from this problem.

ITunes can't find the songs automatically, said that almost the 2000 song are not and nothing else.

I'm used to manage xml and looked up in the itunes library xml file and to know that these songs with special characters did not alter his path to the new properly, they keep the way old-macintosh, something like "http://localhost \volumes\macintosh\music\blablabla\".

The thing is, I tried out solved with samsoft script, but the suggested path does not match my only current. I saw this script search paths similar to what itunes automatically creates, but in my case, I made my own path model (something like \music\%artist%\%artist%-%year%-%album%\%artist% - track - %title%).

In my xml library I set paths, but when I tried to rebuild the itl file, missing tons of songs and I got crazy once more.

Is it possible to code in hard itl file to replace this wrong paths? It's just replace 'file://localhost/volumes/macintosh/Music' ' file://localhost/D: / MusicĀ»

I think about modifying the script samsoft to correspond with my custom path, but I am a junior Javascript coder, and I have no idea how this VBS script works.

    Thank you!

  • How can I get my YouTube video podcast in my iTunes RSS feed?

I want my video podcast on YouTube to show up in my stream iTunes, but how? All links in this forum for what appear to be old.

Welcome to the tips, thank you!

I know it's possible - see Ricky Gervais hosted example attached - but where the video download (used to YouTube nothing for this?)

You cannot use YouTube videos in iTunes. Videos must be one of the following specific formats: .m4v, .mov or .mp4 (no Flash, Realvideo or WMV). In the Ricky Gervais podcast files are mp4. Files can be hosted on an ordinary web server, but it must be able to manage "byte range requests", something you would need to check with the people who run it.
