LAN driver problem

I have motherboard ASUS M2N - MX SE PLUS that supports the PHY 10/100 MBPS LAN connection. I recently bought a modem high speed from my ISP. I connected the modem to my computer via an ethernet cable, but the CD of installation of the modem software reported that my computer has a network card. If it is then what network card driver I installed?

writing in the new message: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy... *

There is no such mention of such a driver in the CD that came with my motherboard.

The category "Network card" is not listed in Device Manager.

The site Web from ASUS that you a hyperlink are not provided with a LAN driver.

Not the site of ASUS is not a specific driver of LAN... but it is, I think, that the LAN card is integrated into the mobo and uses a nVidia chipset on the mobo.

Although nVidia is probably best known for its GPUs (GeForce), you will notice that the features listed for your motherboard on the ASUS site include "NVIDIA GeForce6100 /nForce430 Chipset". The GeForce 6100 is the video card that is integrated into your motherboard. the nForce 430 is the LAN adapter.

As a result of this post, go to the control panel > add or remove programs and scroll down until you get to Nvidia Drivers. Highlight it, and then click Change/Remove. You will then be able to remove the drivers for the one who is installed (including your video drivers, if you have Nvidia graphics). If the LAN driver is not listed, then you need to download the driver for chipset on the link that provided the PML. Reinstall the driver, and then you should have a list of map network in Device Manager (assuming that the NETWORK adapter is not disabled in the BIOS).

    Hello
I own a laptop Tecra A8-103 (short model PTA83E number) and I simply formatted and put Windows XP so I'm trying to install all the drivers that I found this site on my computer. The problem is that in driver LAN I can not find any executable program (i.e. setup.exe) or anything that could be considered as a request for the installation of this driver.

The zip file that contains this driver is lan - 20080303122015.zip and the version is 9.2.24.

Could someone give me some advice?

You n t need all .exe files to reinstall the driver of LAN.
You can install it from the Device Manager.

First unpack the LAN driver package.
Go to Device Manager. Expand the menu network cards.
Choose the Lan (unknown device?) card and reinstall the driver pointing to the Palace where the Lan driver package has been unpacked.

  • HP Pavilion 17-e020sf LAN driver problem

    Hello

I have a problem with my HP Pavilion e020sf 17. I installed windows 7 and when I try Driver from Realtek to controller network (sp55979.exe) I get the message

' The RealTek network adapter/controller was not found.
If the active deep sleep Mode please connect the cable"

I did some research to solve this problem and I tried to remove the battery, remove the ram to reset the motherboard and put it back but nothing works.

I discovered that in the configuration of the bios, the local network connection must be enabled. But I can't find the option in the BIOS (version F08) because I read it was in the Advanced menu settings which I did not. I tried to find a bios update to get this option but did not find a compatible with W7 and my notebook.

Can you please help me with this problem?

You are the very welcome, Julien.

I don't get the thing of ethernet. The ethernet (10EC & DEV_8136) device is present, so that the driver should install.

You have the PC connected to the AC adapter and an ethernet cable plugged into the network port?

If this is not the case, try to install the driver like that.

The other drivers you need are the following: install this first and then try to install the Realtek ethernet card.

The chipset driver install drivers of motherboard (for example the smbus controller). Perhaps because the controller driver SMBus is not installed the ethernet driver cannot be installed.

A rule is always install the driver from the chipset first.  Graphic, and then audio and reboot after each installation of single driver of the 3 above.

    Hey athulshaji,

Thanks for the info update, but I need you to clarify the matter, so I can help you to solve this

You said that your laptop does not have your WiFi. It can take a lot of different ways:

If it does not find the adapter or if she does not find wireless networks?

The wireless adapter works but cannot be enabled/disabled?

What is the adapter missing from Device Manager?

The connection is not available, but showing limited connectivity?

You also gave me a product ID. I need the hardware for your WLAN adapter ID to identify it correctly. Here's how find you:

    1. Press Windows + X key.
    2. Click on Device Manager.
    3. Right click on the adapter.
    4. Click on properties.
    5. Go to the Details tab.
    6. Change the drop-down list of hardware IDS.

I look forward to your reply!

  • Satellite L30-134 - LAN and audio driver problem

I installed the LAN driver but my internet is not working and I have problem whit my sound. I can't make it work in the speakers.

    Hi Smike_de,

I think that no one can offer a solution to your problems because information and a more detailed description of the error are missing.

What operating system you are using?
Are you running the factory settings?
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

You can try to update the drivers. You can download it on the Toshiba site.

  • Satellite M70: How o use Atheros Wireless Lan Driver?

    Hello
Since I bought my Satellite M70, I had the same problems described by many on the forum and to keep band from b instead of g and the ability of its 54 Mbit connection.

I updated the intel lan driver and I am now using intel Pro/set utility driver.
Last week, I got a message from toshiba for download the latest Atheros driver which is supposed to improve connectivity.

The problem is that to happen once I installed Atheros driver nothing: there is nothing that I can do with the atheros utility, and I can still only go from Intel or Windows to manage the wireless card.

Does anyone have a good idea on how to use the atheros driver?
    Thanks for your help
    Jean-Paul

    Hi, Jean Paul

I never had any message of the Toshiba who advise me to update all drivers.
However, I don't know what your laptop is the WLan card but you can't use an Atheros driver on the Intel WLan card for example.
If the Intel WLan card has been installed on your laptop, you must use the Intel Wlan drivers.
Check in the Device Manager you what Wlan laptop using the card you.

  • Slow internet speed because of the Marvell Yukon LAN driver

    Hi all!

I'm a newbie here so don't know if I'm supposed to ask this question here but anyway, hope, my problem is solved somehow.

I'm on a Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop computer, I received last week and everything works well except my internet speed, its too slow. I'm on a 10 Mbps plan but my speed is no where near that. I get speeds close to 200 kb/s at 300 KB/s max. After some googleing I got to know that the Marvell Yukon LAN driver is the problem here.

According to some Internet sites, we are supposed to roll back the driver to a previous version, I did it, but speed still does not pass. I have tried almost all the things I can do, but nowhere so far. I called my ISP, they say that everything is rosy on the other hand, ran the scan of Norton Antivruis on this computer, the firewall disabled, and the list is long but nothing.

It would be great if someone could help me out here.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

checked your connection with another computer, if the problem persists try with another machine?

Would be really interesting... If not I suggest you to reclaim your machine to 'default '. Maybe it's solved something.
Another idea would be to remove the service from the "Qos" (quality of service) of your network connection, which hardly slows down the connection for software reasons.

Please give some feedback and please tell me what system you´re using (Vista, XP)

    THX

    Good bye

Help guys. I need driver for ethernet LAN for Windows 7 32 bit

    Thank you

    Hey,.

After installing Windows 7 have installed all of the important drivers that you can find?

Your model of laptop is an American model, and so you can find all the drivers on the Toshiba U.S. page tools:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com

If you search for your model, you will find all the necessary stuff for Windows 7 32 bit. Download and install all the drivers, then your LAN port should operate as usual.

If you have any other questions, just post again ;)

  • Satellite P100-219: LAN driver

There is a problem with the "Network Driver" on the CD utilities & tools created from the HARD disk.
Installation fails, probably due to an error of order, '' C:\Toshiba' is not recognized.

In the folder Driver network, there are two subfolders:
    100LAN containing for WinXP: e100a325.inf (revision 1) and e100b325.inf (revision 3) 8255 x Intel drivers
GLan: e1e5132. INF Intel (r) PRO/1000 Gigabit adapters,
IAMT. INF 'Technology of Directors Active Intel (r) - KCS',
iresol. INF "serial port driver" "Serenum filter driver.
The records contain more files, but I see no installation instructions.

The driver download page, the same files are available under LAN Driver from Intel and Toshiba, respectively.

Recommendations on what to install and in what order?

    Hello

First of all, you want to download and install the Chipset utility from the site. After that, you can install the rest and more any order. I recommend the installation of the graphic, audio, and lan-wifi-Bluetooth, then everything that is left. But don't forget, the Chipset utility is always the first to install.

  • Question about installing WXP LAN Driver on Satellite Pro A120

I have a Satellite Pro A120 (PSACIE) with Vista installed. I created a dual boot with XP Prof I seem to have all the drivers except the WLAN and LAN drivers. I have downloaded the LAN driver there is no setup.exe file. No problem, (I think, maybe someone out there knows differently?).

I used Device Manager to load the file inf and intel pro/1000 PL network connection selected with the Hardware Installation Wizard. At the end the wizard said there was an error code 10 and that the device probably would not work properly.

Can anyone help? It does not of course! By pure chance that I bought a port replicator, its LAN works with XP but do not work with Vista! (There is a hint here)

Is it possible I can get details on the LAN device such as model, serial number? Any help appreciated gratefully.

    Hello

Are you sure you used a right and support for driver LAN?
Error code 10 is known to me and mostly it appears if the device cannot be started because the driver is not compatible

Ok. To my knowledge, there are two different Satellite Pro A120:
the unit of PSAC0E supports Lan Chip Realtek 8100 CL

and the PSAC1E supports the chip Intel 82573 L (Vidalia)

So, what phone do you use?

  • Satellite A210-ST0 - wireless LAN driver does not work

I recently reformatted my laptop with windows XP, and I have all the drivers working except the wireless Lan driver.
I got the driver from the toshiba page and this is the XP driver. I install it, but the computer still does not recognize that the map has a pilot (appears as a question mark in the Device Manager) does anyone else have this problem? is there another place to get the driver?

PS: I'm pretty good with computers, I just need the driver file and can installed with on an EXE file

    Hmm

What page of the driver Toshiba did you use for the download of the driver?

As I m not wrong not the * Satellite A210 - ST0 PSAFGC * is a Canadian series and therefore, it would be desirable to use the Canadian page for the download of the driver!

    Check this box:
    http://support.Toshiba.ca/support/download/ln_byModel.asp

The WLan card chip could come from Realtek or Atheros.

Last but not least, you should check your BIOS version. If the latest version is available on the Canadian page and then try to update!

    Good luck

  • Satellite Pro L500 - cannot install the Realtek LAN driver

    Hi all

I got a Satellite Pro L500 Windows 7 pro with disk created from computers, cell phones, but now cannot install a Realtek LAN driver for the laptop.

The installation of the driver software program doesn't seem to work properly all the time, tried several times to install with only once a realtek 'repair' option becomes available.
When I managed to install the driver I got an error "the device couldn't start. After restoring I also had problems with a "controller driver simple communication PCL.
which seems to have been an Intel MEI according to the SAT, DEV info displayed in the information systems.

If these problems are linked and how to install the driver required in an automated system if the system does not correctly detects hardware?

    Hello

I m not owner of the Satellite Pro L500 but have you ever tried to install the latest driver Realtek LAN official site of Toshiba?
