laptop fails to projector drive intermittently when you use PowerPoint, or videos

I'm running Windows 7 on a Pentium Dual core T4300. I can connect to a projector and get a picture, but for some projectors, it often seems to reset the screen and turns off a few seconds before returning to normal. I'm a teacher so I use the laptop in different rooms with different projectors and get different results. I had a window open in the window run Task Manager and notice that there is a peak of 100% on both cores when the screen is empty. I have not yet spotted any process causing this to happen.

Everything's fine when it's not connected to a projector. I can also connect to a TV without problem. I close all other programs and the screen to smaller settings reolutions. It makes no difference.

Any ideas please?

The screen can be empty for various reasons, including if the 'double' is not enabled after you connect to a projector, a conflict of third party software or problem video driver etc. To narrow down the possible causes, I would like you try the following options and check if the problem persists.

Method 1:

Check if the option "duplicate" is selected for the projector.

  1. Press the Windows key + P.
  2. Click on the option that says "Duplicate" screens.
  3. Check if you get the same screen on your laptop.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

If you are not able to update the device driver via windows update, you can visit your computer

or chart, the card manufacturer's Web site and download & install the latest driver. Or contact the manufacturer of your system to do.

    If I understand correctly, when you use your TV as a monitor while video recording automatically stops and does not cross the entire 29 minutes. Based on your manual, it is normal for the camera when it is connected to another device via the HDMI cable. This serves as protection for the camera.

    I have a random, strange and frustrating problem! I work in R12.0.4 do a few tests, which means that I have to keep referring to a spreadsheet Excel (2007 version), so I pass frequently between Oracle Forms and Excel - sometimes by clicking between the two and sometimes using Alt - Tab. What happens, intermittent - sometimes frequently and sometimes not, is that when I go back to Oracle, the form works more I can't tab through the fields, I can't select other buttons, I can't hit even the "quit" icon in the upper right corner. My only issue is to close the window of J-initiator (which in turn closes the session of forms) and then re - start my health session of forms of the homepage Apps.
    Has anyone encountered this?

    I bought the laptop A665 3d and loaded the Nvidia drivers for the 3D provided with the laptop package.   • Laptop crashes when you use the CD player

    A few days ago my laptop started occasionally crashing and restarting when I use the CD player. He only made 2 or 3 times but I've seen this happen with a previous (non-toshiba) laptop and it ended up happening all the time, even when not using the CD player.

    Have you tested if this strange question would pass after the installation of the new OS from the Toshiba Recovery CD?

    If this issue always happen after using recover CD, then you must contact the ASP in your country for a control of the laptop.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried to reinstall the integration features in the past, but the problem has come back at a later date. A few days after I posted this request for assistance, I needed to log out of Windows 7, so I hibernated the XP Mode image. Then, I opened a session in Windows 7 and thought I'd give it a try once again, and it worked this time! I did nothing special. So hopefully that will happen in the future, just as it went and on the past few months. Enjoyed your attempt to offer advice, however!

    Your laptop should still be guaranteed if you bought in June 2005. Take it to your authorized Service Provider nearest and have their say.     I don t think that the driver update will help you. The operating system uses the simple common Microsoft USB drivers. I think we should get the problem somewhere else.

    You can try to disable the power save option in-USB hub-> properties > Device Manager. I noticed that if energy saving is enabled on ports USB some external devices could not work with maximum efficiency.
    In addition, you should disconnect other USB devices during the test the USB microphone.
    I think that it of not impossible that some external USB devices might have a negative influence on the use of a USB microphone.
