Laptop HP 2000: problem laptop GPU

After the upgrade to Windows 10 a few days ago, I realized something.  Games and movies, I ran before the upgrade no longer well perfroming; FPS, decreased dramatically to the point were it makes games unplayable and very bad films.  After doing some research on some sites, I determined that the problem was with my graphics card.  My GPU, an AMD Radeon HD series 7340, is not supported by Windows 10.  When looking for technology in the device under Graphics Manager, Microsoft base adapter screen replaced.  I can't find more my card in the computer.  I thought to upgrade to a more recent AMD GPU.  With my computer, is it still possible?  If so, how should I go to?  The answers would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you! -7P2J1S

You certainly can't pass the video because it is welded directly on the motherboard.

Regarding the drivers, it is a known problem and there are solutions involving manually or force Windows 8.1 driver installation.

    Hey guys,.

I currently installed windows 8.1 x 64 OS on a laptop OS from windows 7 to the previous address. Problem is that none of my cards (AMD/ATI Radeon HD5470 & Intel HD graphics card) are properly recognized by the system. Whenever I try to install AMD external links and no HP drivers, nothing happens... It goes the same for Intel drivers. Whenever I have install the drivers from the HP official site... AMD catalyst center works but gpu itself does not react as stays in 1024 x 768 and League of Legends game drops to 4 frames per second (I use it asa pointer of the problem). As for when I try to install the driver of HP Intel... then I get the black screen on reboot blue screen that prompts me to either reboot the machine again or try to fix the problem as a user advanced... I hope I did a system restore point that I knew that this can happen! Any suggestions?

P.S tried 4 times still the same result with driver intel. In regards to the AMD hope is lost... I even do not have a valid driver not always by AMD for the current gpu...

  • Laptop HP 2000 problem in the cooling system

I have a problem with my laptop's cooling system. I've had a little more than two years now and a few months ago, he knocked out of my bed and fell to the ground. A little after that the fan has started to act up and I discovered that a piece of one of the fan blades has been chipped, and another was perhaps bent.

My computer has been acting upward for a week or two after that, but then he started to work as well as before. Cooling system of yesterday I started my laptop and got up a screen during startup that said that there is a problem with my laptop computer and continues with a summary of the system that may affect this evil.

I went with the curriculum vitae of the system to see what would happen after a little longer that usual, it worked very well, and the fan is still running. He did this twice yesterday and both times, it was fine, but I am still concerned about this. This morning she started without warning.

Anyone know what could be the problem? Do I need a new system of cooling/fan? Or is my phone to reach the end of its life expectancy? Please help with the best advice that you can give and thank you.

  • win computer hp laptop 2000 problems 8.1 update

I upgraded to 8.1 as directed many guests from the store wndows back in February 2013. It crashed my system and I had to go back to win 8 lose most of my programs (I'm stupidly not create a recovery disk, but did save all my personal files).

I just wanted to know is now safe to move to the 8.1 now?

I kept his June 2014 with all updates 8 victory and the drivers and updates of 2000 HP notebook pc. I ran a compatibility check and HP said they have not tested my model to win 8.1 compatibility and I don't think that they won't (whether it is an older model 1-2 years).

The one with the same or similar model upgrade to 8.1? Doesn't it work?

    Hi mazemastress,

I hope you had a great weekend,

I'm sorry that you are experiencing a difficulty.  You download your Windows 8.1 update, you will get a prompt to restart your laptop to do the installation.  At this moment in time allows you to uninstall the wireless driver.

Restart your computer to complete the installation, and then reinstall the wireless driver.

    I hope this has helped.

  • PC HP 650: Can what dedicated laptop gpu I add hp 1858 hm70 mother

I was wondering if I can add mobile gpu dedicated to my motherboard. If I can please tell me what graphics card I can add.

    My laptop:

    Intel pentium 2.20 ghz (dual-core) b960

    4 GB of ram

Inteagraded Intel HD 2000 (his performance is really low)

    Dual boot: windows 7 64-bit and windows 8.1 64-bit

    motherboard: hp 1858 hm70

Sorry there is no way to do it. The video system is a chip soldered directly on the motherboard. There is no crack or any other place to add something to the video system. The 650 HP had no dedicated graphics card option, then there is not even a motherboard, that you could swap in for decent graphics card. There is another motherboard for Intel Core CPU which would have video Intel HD 3000, but that wouldn't be enough of an improvement of worth.

  • computer laptop 15-r250ne: is the replaceable my laptop gpu?

If it is not replaceable, is there some sort of adapter that I can buy?

No, it's hard to tell people, but cell phone video is a fixed thing. The chip is soldered to the card. No way to delete and update. Video output is common now, but I guess that you want something that will run games better. Video output on your generation of equipment is done via USB 3.0. She made that enable the extended desktop monitors to have several external displays. He still runs the same video card and USB 3.0 somewhat limits the bandwidth so not good for games; more for PowerPoint presentations and looking fellows.

    @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • XPS 17 L702x - problem with GPU - screenshots inside!

    Hello

I have a Dell XPS L702X of 17 "and my GPU is not used by my applications/games. Instead, it uses the Intel HD 3000 chipset, even when I run on the power configuration high performance and when I whitelist enforcement in the nVidia control panel.

I did a fresh install of Windows x 64 Pro Edition.

The laptop came with the A14 bios version. I found an update of the Bios Version on your website and flashed my Bios. This does not help, and this version is no longer on your Web site.

I tried to install the nVidia drivers present on the CD that came with the laptop, my system was not reckognized.

I changed the file nvam.inf to fool the installer to accept my system, and the driver has been installed successfully. The problem is still there.

I installed the nVidia drivers 290,36 (beta) by using the same trick, it still does not work.

I tried to call the tech support of my coutry (France) and they say they'll call me back today (because they had database problems yesterday), but they did not. Their offices are now closed.

Here are a few screenshots to put emphasis on:

Everything else (sound, fast setting, wifi etc.) works perfectly. There are discussions on the notebookreview.com forums (I'm not the only one having this problem), but there is still no news about a possible solution.

I came here to explain the problem again and be in contact with several customers/technicians.

    All the best :)

The new drivers nVidia on the Dell Web site has solved the problem!

A big thanks to all the technicians who have worked on this fix =)

    Hello

Sorry, but HP is not currently supported on your laptop with Windows 7 drivers.

You can try dowmloading the NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 WHQL driver from NVIDIA. . Try the detection function on the page of the NVIDIA driver.

You may find that a driver that can be used for the games is going to be difficult with Windows 7.

Have you tried Windows Update? I just read that there is some news of NVIDIA GeForce Go drivers available.

  • HP Pavilion g6t-2000 CTO: dedicated GPU upgrade Possible?

My laptop has switchable graphics and I was wondering if I could update the map that was not integrated. I bought it three years ago naievely think it would be good enough for the games. The GPU is currently the only thing that keeps me from Fallout 4. Is there something better than an AMD Radeon HD m 7670 (what I currently have) that would be worth upgrading to? I tried to look in the manual for compadible parts and I know that because of the switchable thing that HP should already have drivers for it.

  • HP Envy 17/2000: Is hybrid GPU multiplexed or MUXless?

My laptop is HP Envy 17 2099el with 3D support, it is the 2nd gen Envy 17 series. A very nice machine, I like it a lot.

It comes with a hybrid video card, part is 2nd generation, integrated Intel GPU, another Radeon 6850 M discrete GPU.

What is a MUX - ed or MUX-less system?

MUX - ed system is one in which the two GPU is connected to the display via switching multiplexer, where the name.

MUX-less system is one in which the Integrated GPU is always linked to the display and the discrete GPU is used only for rendering, do not display.

The laptop has what we call "switchable" graphics. As its name suggests it means that you should be able to use either for these tasks. However, you can of course only use one at a time. Here is a little more information on the switchable graphics in HP laptops.

By your definition that would make a MUX - ed system.

    I hope it's useful!

  • Weird Linksys x 2000 problem

Suddenly, I was not able to connect to websites at random and do not been able to add elements of online stores to cart.  I couldn't believe the router it would, but I've confirmed.  With Linksys x 2000 installed, I tested Linkedin.com on four of my computers.  2 Windows 7 Machines, Machine 1-Windows8 and server 1-2011. After you type the user name and password, page refresh to the login screen and does not allow me to connect to.  I tested it on all 4 machines.  Also tried to order something online and not allow me to put items in the basket.  Once tested on all four machines.

I set the router to the factory settings and tested and got the same results.  Disabled firewall and got the same results.  Ensure time was OK and got the same results. I had the latest firmware, 2.0.4 (or something like that) and no newer updates.

I replaced the Linksys X 2000 with provided ISP router Westell 8500 and none of the problems persisited.  Definitely something wrong with the x 2000 Linksys.  I'm in the Eastern time zone and think that the problem began with Day LIght Saving time, although I can't be sure.  Routeris is good time however.  Yet once, provider ISP don't give me any problems.

Anyone else with the same problems?

Yes, there are a lot of discussions on this problem. The problem is that cookies are blocked. Go to the security settings on the router and check the cookie. Who's going to fix it until we get a firmware update.

    Hello

I opened my new Inspiron 7559 today, after updating all the drivers, including the NVIDIA card, so I installed the League of legends, from the first game, I noticed my FPS was about 130 and should Cap around here, I found this weird like the laptop I was coming before it was an older model of Dell and he had run the game quite well to 215 other FPS thing I noticed is the game freezes at random, on the whole, it is as if my laptop is not followed, although there really good specifications, what is the possible cause?

    Kind regards.

EDIT: Yesterday evening the game completely froze and I had to turn off my laptop and again in operation manually.

Two things to try to stop the gel.

    (1) update the bios

    (2) remove all dell support software

I've done this and have not frozen for a week
