Specifications: DDR3 1600 MHz Non - ECC CL11, 1.5 v, Unbuffered SODIMM memory

Thank you and best regards.

Not if she asks DDR3L is what you need. It must be capable of running at 1.35 volts. The memory that you have linked above is not things correctly.

  • Pavilion dv4: Pavilion dv4 memory/RAM upgrade

I have a HP Pavilion dv4 (15-inch screen), still not sure of the model #. It's on WIndows 7 Home premium 64 - bit operating system with 4 g of RAM.

I'm looking to upgrade the RAM and wanted to know if someone knows the maximum I can develop in and also if there are 1 or 2 memory card slots? Any help would be appreciated. Ideally looking for make it if possible 8 GB or RAM.

The T6500 processor was used on the dv4-1000 series, so it's a pretty good indication that you're already in memory of max. The dv4-2000 used first processors Intel Core of gen.

The best acceleration on a legacy system as an SSD, but they are expensive for one with any ability. If you are really adventurous, you could theoretically install a Core 2 Duo processor much stronger as the T9600. It's a lot of hassle, though, and spend money like that on updates is not really economically advisable when you buy a new laptop in a year or less in any case inevitable. New models have just so much more to offer. USB 3.0, SATA-III, faster memory and processors, better battery life. It lights up.

Check the model of the computer in the link below to make sure that it is on your computer.

Here's memory and SSD that are compatible with your computer on Crucial memory website.  As it is said, you can install a single module at a time, but given that the motherboard supports dual channel architecture, it is best to install pairs.  Read the whole page to make sure you get all the information.

While I am not sure that the memory is compatible with existing memory, if it were me, I would buy all of the 8 GB of memory.  This will ensure that it is no problem of compatibility.  You can also contact see service customer of Crucial in what they have to say.

I just bought an opportunity Elitebook 8540w with i7 quad core and four memory locations (I love it!).  It is running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional he came with a 4 GB memory module and I bought an additional module of 4 GB to 8 GB of total RAM.

I have the HP document that shows both modules of memory of 4 GB, it takes in the memory slot 1 and the other in the memory slot 3 for the proper functioning of the memory double channel.  All together right?

Not quite.  In the Elitebook 8540w, primary under the keyboard memory locations are clearly labelled '1' and '2' However, the locations of memory expansion on the underside of the chassis are also clearly labelled Opps '1' and '2 '!  There is no '3' and there is no '4' in which three vacant slots we installed the second module of 4 GB for the proper functioning of the dual memory channel?

All the facts on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  • Memory / RAM upgrade - the standard issue! -HP Compaq Pro 6300 microtour

    Hello

I intend to increase the RAM in this machine (Microtour HP Compaq Pro 6300) and I'm a bit confused to a specification - latency CASE.

    To start:
I plan to purchase memory from a manufacturer of renowned as Crucial or Corsair and purchase identical sticks to replace the OEM memory.

My understanding of the requirements of CASE latency for this system:
According to the reference guide of the material that was provided with this PC, "the DIMM DDR3-SDRAM modules must also:... to support latency CASE 11 DDR3 1600 MHz (at a date 11/11/11)."

My understanding of the CASE latency spec. offer of products available:

Many kits that I found almost total retail prices are advertised as being "CS7,' 'CS9', or 'CS10 '.  The few kits that I found with latency = announced 11 CASES are much more expensive (+ 20%) that those with CL = 7,9,10 (spend less money without wasting on inoperable RAM is my goal).

    My question (s):

I have to buy memory with a latency announced CASES of 11 cycles?
    -OR-
May memory stick with another announced specification of latency CASE (no CL = 11) function properly with my system?  If so, could it be some additional steps to configure the new installation of memory or any foreseeable to overcome obstacles?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and respond!
    -Mark T.

In General, purchase memory with lower CASE ribs won't be a problem, as long as the dominant spec (i.e. DDR3-12800) memory and memory voltage specifications match.

If you buy from a name brand as Crucial or Corsair, however, you should probably ask him if they have specifically tailored to your system memory. They have usually memory specifically designed for brand like HP systems, and that would be your best bet to ensure compatibility.

  • Laptop computer motherboard auto-ajustera voltage RAM upgrade RAM that requires a different voltage [2.5 v > 2, 6V]

    Hello

I need to install more RAM because it runs very slowly when I active antivirus.

I've been Googling for days trying to find a definitive answer to this, but the closer, I could get was a lot of maybes: apparently as the computer's factory-made adjustment is automatic, but the adjustment range is limited somewhere inbetween 2 tensions which I was not able to find out. It seems likely that I would not have an additional problem with the volt 0.1 but I wanted to make sure before you buy updates.

    Dell Inspiron 8200

    Pentium4 2.1 ghz

Manual specifies ram DDR SDRAM PC-2100 / 266 mhz [2.5 volts]

Site analysis Dell recommended: PC-2700 / 333 mhz [2.5 volts]

I want to try: PC-3200 / 400 mhz {{{2.6 v}}}, I want to know definitely it will work, all the discussions that I found when Googling this issue

did not have a definitive answer.

Does anyone know some, or someone has already tried installation RAM with a higher tension in a computer factory-made and done a job or not?

    Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure what you think that this will achieve, but according to Crucial, two PC2700 (DDR333) and PC3200 (DDR400) are backward compatible with PC2100: "memory is designed to be backward compatible, so in General, you can add memory faster safely to a computer that has been designed to run slower memory".

In other words, it should work - as long as all modules of memory are the same.

  • Satellite Pro 2100 - upgrade - upgrade memory RAM

    Hello together!

    For your information:

Upgrade memory today to 2 Toshiba Satellite Pro 2100 (1.9 GH, 256 MB DDR - RAM initially), both up to 1 GB, all fine and no problems.

Wanted to just end rumors "only 512 MB all together" or even less.

If you are looking for, don't forget to think of the specifications:

    DDR-266 (PC2100)
    DDR-SDRAM, SO-DIMM
    200 PINS
    2.5 CL

concerning the frequency of the RAM, building shape etc.

    Greetings

  • HP dv6-1354us: failed to upgrade memory RAM DV6-1354us

    Hello

I just bought a 8 GB Patriot Signature DDR3 PC3 - 10600 (1333 MHz) Double Data Rate single module Non-ECC Unbuffered SODIMM 1.5V power required for my laptop that, according to the specifications of the product, taken Max memory supported is 8 GB. (but don't know if the 8 we can be in a slot or if it takes 2 x 4 GB)

When I plugged the only module Ram laptop (after all procedures safe to change modules) and turn on the machine, remains but no signal video, it did not show the HP logo, I waited several minutes to see if the system needed time to update new material but without good result. So I want to ask what could be the problem? or If someone could tell me on the type memory to buy and upgrade. I tried this module of Ram of Patriot in the other laptop and it actually works, so there is no problem with that. y at - it a way to make this module works by maybe update the Bios of the computer laptop (im) using the F.36 version or any other solution?

Any help will be appreciated, thanks for your time.

either by the way, I checked with manufacturers of CRUCIAL and they suggested different modules DDR3 PC3 - 12800 1600 Mhz Ram upgrade, so I thought that adaptation PC3 - 10600 1333 MHz module should have worked, im confused.

    You are the very welcome.

I think that this could be the problem, or the 4 GB memory you just tried is of a different voltage (1.35v), either a too high density.

Your laptop needs memory low density (low density normally distinguished by the chips of black small 8 memory on each side of the circuit board) and 1.5 V memory needs.  The 1.35v (DDR3L) memory may not work on older chipsets.

Higher density memory has usually 4 small black chips on each side of the circuit board.

    Hello

Nice to see you here again!

I guess the laptop model number is F0Z00EA.

250 HP G2 supports the configuration of memory RAM: DDR3L SDRAM, 1600 MHz with two slots support memory dual channel, 4 / 8GB SODIMM RAM, up to 16 GB total according to the architecture of the operating system

If the installed 32-bit OS, supports only up to 3.5 GB , otherwise up to 16GB.
