Laptop HP ENVY 15-AH151sa: updated my new laptop Win10

According to my HP Support Assistant earlier today, there was no updates that I need to install but then I had an interesting development.

I accidentally clicked on my desk and saw a menu here. At the top was a link to AMD Catalyst Control Center, and from there, I updated my driver AMD. Move the screen now appears to be much better and I have more problems with my cursor is jumping around.

The disadvantages are

(1) I think that it has installed software to follow me and sent me things I don't want - ads, etc. There are plenty of games AMD announcements. I had to click "send me your stuff ' to continue the installation.

(2) it has installed a program called M that WinPatrol alerted me. I had to accept such would not continue with the installation.

(3) it installed MS Visual C++ 2013. I always leave MS comes out / update these. I can't understand why the AMD has installed and wonder if the next MU will change.

So my question is why HP say does not need to update anything?

I think this reinforces my another question here

PS * beep *. An exclamation appeared on my HP Support Assistant icon. OFF to check something else struck dead.

You must run the tool clean AMD as it removes the video drivers.  You will not be able to install drivers to work up to what after the old ones are picked.

That page is for your MODEL of PC, not for your specific PC, and this list is not for all of the software drivers for this model, updates for your PC.

You should go to the page in the link and download the new HP Support Assistant: HP Support Assistant. HP® Official Site

Good luck
