Laptop will not see that a bluetooth dongle is plugged.

I plugged my Kinivo BTD - 300 Bluetooth adapter on my Windows 7 laptop several times, and he doesn't. Nothing, no dialogue windows or beeps, just nothing. The dongle works on my desktop, no problem. But my laptop refuses to acknowledge its existence.

I have three USB ports on my laptop. All three do not recognize the dongle.

I suggest to follow the steps below and we update on the State of the question.


Method 1: Run the corner hardware store and check.

Method 2: Install the latest Windows Update.

This method will install the latest drivers for your external hard drive USB device.

a. click the Start button, type Windows Update in the search box, and then click Windows Update in the results pane.

b. click find updates. When the scan finished, click optional review updates.

c. click on the checkbox next to the updates and then click install updates.

d. If you are prompted, review the license agreement and then click I accept.

e. follow the instructions on the screen to download and install updates.

f. If you are prompted, restart your computer.

If your problem still exists, go to method 3.

Method 3: Reinstall the USB controllers.

This method addresses the steps where the USB driver currently loaded became unstable or corrupted.

a. click Start, and then type in the box Device Manager Search , and then click Device Manager.

b. expand Bus USB controllers. Right click on a device, and then click Uninstall. Repeat for each device.

c. Once complete, restart your computer. Your USB controllers will automatically install.

Method 4: Install the latest drivers for your motherboard chipset.

This method updates the chipset of your motherboard drivers, so that your computer will use your external USB hard drive.

a. review the documentation for your computer that will contain the name of the manufacturer of the motherboard.

b. visit your computer manufacturer's support Web site. For a list of the computer manufacturers support sites, visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/contact-support/computer-manufacturers

c. use their site to find the appropriate drivers for your motherboard. For assistance, contact the manufacturer of your computer.

    Yes, I did. I tried movies, photos, discs of soft ware, I fimley added a wtiter of cd/dvd in replacement and to my surprise, it worked. I don't just use the built-in incd/dvd player.

    I work with Illustrator CS5 and you want to import a picture (files HAVE) documents Illustrator in another document. When I tried event file-> place work file converted to pdf object. Are there other ways to import the work as it is in another file.

    A work around is: to open files in Illustrator, copy content to the Clipboard, paste it into the desired document layer, close document.

    But I need to open these documents in silent mode so that the user will not see them. Is there a method to open the illustrator silently files?

    Ok. To open a document in your own format in silent mode, you register your file using AIFileFormatSuite::AddFileFormat format. Then in the GoFileFormat Manager, you treat the document, and then return an error code, e.g. kBadParameter. The document never appears and Illustrator shows no error, but you treated the file data.     You can copy photos manually from the film. It might sound like a somewhat random Folders collection.

    With Apple active any music that you add to your library becomes automatically available for you to download or listen to on your device. Music sync via USB, however.

    Unfortunately you are not alone. HP has sold a lot of different models with the M2N78 - motherboard. The problem is that the manufacturer of the Board of Directors (not HP) set up a controller chip NVidia which tended to overheat. Once this chip goes, ur stuck. The SATA ports are controlled by this chip.

    Try the following.

    First of all, regarding the manual of maintenance on the link below--remove and reposition your bars of memory.

    If the above makes no difference, and you have more than one Module of memory installed, try the following - if you have only 1 Module installed, try in the other available slot.

    Again, regards to the manual on the link below, delete one of your modules from memory and then see if the computer will start.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still won't start, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to boot up normally.

    The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed on Page 50 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

    When I shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume my laptop, it will die completely.

    All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.

    And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.

    Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.

    After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:

    -If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.

    -If start/stop: OS works normally without error or warning.

    After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.

    Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.

    Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?

    On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.

    My charger started acting funny the other day my computer laptop would not load that I plugged my charger into the port, it does not seem to meet that he is in charge, I thought maybe it was the charger. My mother went bought a charger from Walmart (not the same charger company), it seemed to work, he charges the day after the day it was fully charged, I used it all day until my battery was about to die, I got the notification saying 12% going to charge your laptop, so I plugged it. He died now when I try to put on I see white, flashing lights, so I don't think it's a battery problem, I just can't load, when I plug the Chargers none of them seemed to work. There is usually a flashing orange indicating that my laptop is supported, it does not show that when I plug the charger in, now my phone is dead and I can't activate it please I need help. side note: I've tried and tried everything and no my port of loading is not loose when I plug, please help someone
