LaserJet 2015b: new printer driver isn't fair

driver 6.2.0.20412 dated February 2, 2016 seems to be incorrect as the laserjet 2015 d is a printer Monocrome (black ink only), but this driver is for the laserjet color printer and has no duplexer as an option either?  How can I get the correct driver?  or where can I get the old driver?

Since the version number and the date that you quote, you are probably using the PCL6 universal printer driver or the UPD PostScript.

I don't have or either of those put in place on my machine, but I guess you can (via the device settings tab on the printer properties dialogue for the instance of the printer in question):

  • Place the duplex unit installed , and not not installed.
  • Change a parameter indicating whether or not the color is supported.

Lexmark agent not because of the guarantee will help the guests came out!

    Please help, Yuen

Lexmark provides no win7 drivers or software for this model, they provide Vista drivers, if these will work, I couldn't tell.

The cd of Lexmark won't work as long as it is not for win7.

Otherwise, you will need to use the Add Printer Wizard win7, then select the correct printer model via windows update

  • Printer driver crashes when printing with Office 2013/8 64-bit Windows

    Printer: HP Color LaserJet CM1312nfi

Printer driver: V5.1 (to date, downloaded from the HP support Web site) or generic V5.6

    OS: Windows 8 Professional 64-bit

When I try to print an Excel document with Excel 2013 and V5.1 printer driver, the program freezes and must end with the Task Manager. This always occurs with the same document, but not with all the documents. Program also crashes when opening the preview before printing to the same document.

The same document prints fine with V5.6 generic print driver and with the driver supplied with Windows 8.

The same document prints fine with the driver version 5.1 on Windows 7 and Office 2010. The combination of Windows 7/Office 2013 has not been tested. Windows 8/Office 2010 combination has also not been tested.

When I try to print an empty document with the word 2013 and the generic printer V5.6, the program driver crashes and must end with the Task Manager.

My conclusion is that the HP printer drivers have a problem with Windows 8 or office 2013 or a combination of both.

The printer driver supplied with Windows 8 and is installed automatically is useful as a temporary workaround, but it lacks some options, e.g. manual duplex.

Upon request, I am ready to send the Excel document by e-mail for verification of the problem.

For any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

  • HP LaserJet 4100: Problem with the universal print driver

    Desktop: HP Envy 700-214

    OS: 10 64-bit Windows

Printer: HP LaserJet 4100 (with a USB to parallel cable)

I was able to properly use my LaserJet for Windows 8.1 through my Windows 10 crossing (which I upgraded to about 18 months ago).  Quite recently, I welcomed Windows Installer a upgrade, and at this time there, I lost my ability to print.   It has been on my default printer, but gave an error message when I tried to print.

I tried to "Add a printer" and selected the HP 4100 connected to the LPT1 port.  It would not print a test page, and the printer does not like in the reception of data.

I then tried to install the (PCL6 and Postscript) universal print driver with similar lack of results.

I tried uninstallinDeg and reinstall the drivers, but once again no joy.  Incidentally, although I'm going to Device Manager > printing queues and remove the drivers, when I set up an application like Word and select the Menu printing, many copies of drivers rest yet.  When I go to remove them using the printui/s/T2, it is said that they are currently in use and cannot be deleted.

Yet once again, I repeat - it is not a hardware problem because everything worked well before Windows upgrade.  I just need to find a way to reinstall a driver who will speak to my printer.  It of frustrating because I was able to do that before, but may not know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello GaryLynn,

You saw did a lot of things to try to solve this issue.

However the USB to parallel isn't anHP officially supported connection type.

in any case, what suggests I´d, is that you try this:

    • Unplug the hybrid cable that you use
    • Uninstall all copies of the printer and its duplicates.
    • Stop the print spooler by using the services on windows (type on cortana services.msc) locate print spooler and stop it
    • Go to run and coil type, look at the Printers folder and delete all the files that are there (if any)
    • Restart the spooler to print services.
    • Download and install this driver package
      http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=FP-148007-1
    • Turn on your printer and connect the cable.

After this exercise, check to see if windows 10 has managed to find the best driver to use your printer.
If widows did not automatically find it, try the manual on add a Printer Wizard.

If not reading as LPT1, check ports either USB00 ' # ' or a port DOT4, those who should be the ports to use.

I hope this helps you get your printer going again.

    Thank you

  • LaserJet 1300: is it laserjet 1300 printer driver for Windows 10?

I just bought a new laptop for home use - Windows 10 rounds.  I've been using a printer LaserJet 1300 (connected to a docking station, which is connected to the laptop) during the years that I LIKE, but can't seem to find a driver for printer LaserJet 1300 for WIndows 10.  It does not exist, and if yes, what is the link to it?

The drivers are all the same, no matter what port is used.  The port just determines the method to which the work reached the printer.  Parallel, USB or network.  Parallel ports of will disappear and most computers only support usb and network as well as some who support wireless where the printer has wireless capabilities.  Here is the link to the drivers on the hp site.

  • LaserJet MFP M277dw Pro: Windows installs its own printer driver after failure of wireless printer, print

It is a problem really bizzare, I will try to explain as clearly as possible what happened:

    • I have 277dw LaserJet MFP Pro, which is connected to my PC via wireless network. I installed the drivers from HP and everything worked as a watch movement - printing and scanning.
    • Yesterday, the power is out for about 30 minutes. Computer stayed on thanks to UPS, but the printer power loss.
    • Once the power was restored to the printer, printer initialized and I was able to access his page of HTTP status without problems. All the parameters of the printer has persisted. Same IP address. Printer all self-tests pass. However, I have lost the ability to print (printer shows more as an option in the print dialog boxes). Scanner works as usual, save the scan to a network folder.
    • The State of device HP icon has disappeared from the taskbar.
    • A bunch of new entries titled "NPIF7BB8E (MP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw)" appears in the Device Manager. This 'new' device appears in the Device Manager 5 times under different categories of devices (see attached screenshot). In the Event Viewer, I discovered that Windows installed for this device right when the power has been restored to the printer.
    • Under control panel-> hardware and sound-> devices and printers, all devices installed by HP are grayed out and their status is not connected.
    • Restarting the computer does not resolve this issue.

Anyone have any ideas on what is happening here? It's the second time this has happened - I was able to fix the first time by reinstalling the printer drivers. However, I don't want to have to do every time the failure. This looks like a bug in Windows or the drivers.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Most likely your operating system is set to automatically install the drivers, when the lost connection the WPS driver build has been added.

Try these steps and check if that helps:

    1. In Control Panel, select network and Internet.
    2. Open the network and sharing Center.
    3. Search your active network profile, it appears just below the name of the network (for example Private Network, work network)
    4. The side pane select change advanced sharing settings.
    5. In the profile category, uncheck 'automatically enable the configuration of the connected network devices '.
    6. Click on save to confirm.
    7. Devices and printers remove any element M277 printer), as well as Device Manager (remove the two original HP or WPS item, you should see is no longer the M277.)
    8. Once select start > all Apps > HP > HP Laserjet M277 and select the shortcut to reconfigure the device, it can appear as the printer software installation & connect a new printer, etc.

    Hope that helps,

    Hello

I suggest to Uninstall all the HP Laserjet Printer drivers and then try to install.

For the second question, you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  • HP Color LaserJet 9500 - stapling feature missing in the printer driver Uviversal

    Hello everyone,

We use a Color LaserJet 9500 in an enterprise environment. He had a hardware failure, our service partner repaired. Since then, the stapling function is missing from the universal printer driver. On the machine itself, we are able to use the stapler, but not on our PC.

You can see from the attached images, official stapling is visible on screen captures, but on our machines, stapling is missing.

    How we miss?

    Thanks in advance!

    Paul of Hungary

Don't know where on your driver, but he should be a tab like device settings on this tab will be a section called installable options and in this section that you will need to change the clip in not installed not installed. Most likely, the driver was reinstalled and the default probably isn't for the stapler unit. You must go to the folder of your printer and right click on the printer icon and then scroll the first properties if more than one and then left click and find the tab that has the installable options. Good luck.

  • Printer driver for HP LaserJet 4 L with Windows 7

I can't find the driver for my LaserJet 4 L printer in Windows 7.  I have a parallel to USB conversion cable connected to my computer.   I need the drivers.

    Thank you.

My system 8.1 Pro 64-bit Windows has a driver for this printer model:

I don't know if the driver is present on a new installation of Windows; It can only have appeared in the list after the Windows Update button has been clicked on the dialog Add printers above, then wait (possibly several minutes) while additional drivers have been downloaded and the list filled again.

I suppose the same could be true for older versions of Windows as well.

  • LaserJet: Can I force a newer printer to imitate the old Laserjet model?

Try to replace the printer on an instrument of laboratory a few years to find the compatible template.

Printer provided originally is Laserjet 1100.

The system works very well with the Laserjet 1100, I believe with 1320 and other series of 1000, but NOT with the LaserJet 2000 or later.

Is it possible to force a newer printer (for example P2035) to "pretend" that it's the 1100 model?

The 1100 uses only PCL5e; the P2035 has PCL5e as one of its languages, but still does not print correctly.

I believe that the instrument asks the printer port & request "who's there?" and adjusts its output according to the response of the printer; seems he misunderstands P2035 response and other models I've tried like P2014.

No, I can't change the behavior of the instrument or the exit without a VERY expensive change.

Centronics parallel connection, I believe that a parallel-USB adapter would not help.

Test options are very limited due to the location of the instrument in a biological laboratory; If something is happening here that it can exit only by autoclave!

    Any ideas out there?

Frankly I recommend you buy a LaserJet P3015, then go online and buy a parallel EIO port, they are cheap on ebay.

HP EIO parallel port is supported in the P3015, but this just printer model is no longer supported, but it is still available if you go out and get a fairly quicklvy.

Your other option is simply to find a used LaserJet 4000, 4100, or 42 X 0 printer, these models all have a built-in parallel port.

I just discovered the P3015 be be abandoned to randomly talk to someone in sales to the company that I work.

Due to another scenario, I checked the parallel EIO port that made HP is compatible with the P3015.

The parallel port also work in HP P4015, but HP does not guarantee that it does, I saw it work properly from any PC in this way however external Jetdirects will have problems with it. I do not know how he would react on your lab equipment, that's why I recommend the P3015 which you can always buy new with a warranty.

If my post decided and your problem please mark as a solution. You can thank all tech for a good post giving him a helping hand to the top just click the button below the post.
