LaserJet 600: toner, laserjet 600 on the page

I have a question where there is some toner transferred to some parts of the page, it should not.

On the right side of the page, there will be 4-5 "burrs" toner that go from the top down. It seems it's the toner of something that has been previously printed. For example sometimes the task is sufficiently readable to see what the letter a or the number 2 and so on.

I can print through about 10 pages of blank paper after the 3rd or 4th book that the task will disappear. As soon as I print something with the text on the entire page appears again.

I exchanged the toner of other laserjet600 which did not work properly and that did not fix the problem. I did a little cleaning on the rollers where the toner fits into the printer. I ran a cleaning page of in the software of the printer.

So far, nothing has worked. If anyone has information, it would be wonderful.

Looks like you have a bad fuser unit

You have a number of more accurate model for the printer? Is - it can be a M601?

M600 printers that I am familiar with the fuser unit is very easy to remove, so you can swap between the two printers and make sure it is the problem.

You will probably find even with the exact model number a YouTube video showing you how do to remove and reinstall the fuser unit.

If my post is solved your problem and click the accepted as button solution under him.

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: printer HP LaserJet bleeding in the pages

Well, so a few months ago our printer started printing with strange faded color smear on the pages. Very subtle at first, but it has progressively worsened over the months, and now it covers almost the page:

    http://i655.Photobucket.com/albums/uu275/zzzz4444/HP.jpg

It is magenta on one side of the page and orange-ish on the other. I tried to manually run a Page several times cleaning, cleaning things, replacement of cartridges, replacing the transfer roller, and calibrate the color cartridges, which none shows any significant improvement. Does it also on the print side of the paper, and it seems that the toner is leaking on the transfer roller mainly (on the edges, but also on the rest of the roll).

    Any ideas/suggestions?

It seems that as faulty toner cartridges, are you using the new HP cartridges?

  • LaserJet P2055X: Laserjet printing on the page lines

When we print of this Laserjet P2055X we almost get ghost text down both sides of the paper (scan picture below). We cleaned the paper path and the roll it seems now that something will have to be replaced. Can someone tell me what is at fault, so I can get the part? Thank you.

Make what is called a test of half.  Put a sheet of paper on the manual fold down tray on the front and open the drawer of the cassette.  Now print a configuration page from the menu information and when the rear edge of the paper between the printer, quickly open the toner door to stop printing.  Remove the toner cartridge and look at the picture below.  If the fault is present, the question is the toner cartridge and nothing else.  If the defect is not present, the fuser unit teflon sleeve has problems and the fuser unit will need to be replaced.  I hope this helps.

  • Color LaserJet 2605dn: changing the toner cartridge guaranteed?

Can someone help me to replace what seems to be a faulty cartridge? I could find absolutely no information on how to do it on HP's Support website to the regular address.

Q6003A magenta toner cartridge prints very light. Looks pink instead of magenta. This is true even on the 'Page State supplies", which shows the level of toner to 74%: Pages printed with this power supply: 418; Rest of approximate Pages: 1189. I have 'shaken gently"the magenta cartridge without result, and I see no flaws on the drum. 'Cleaning' running mode did not help; He only printed black. The other three cartridges all show them a solid color, so I deduce that there is a problem with the magenta cartridge itself.

See below. The title and the area around it are supposed to be "Purple"; There should be a (not complete magenta) rose "2605dn" to the right of the printer "HP Color LaserJet.

Any suggestions as to how to get this replaced would be greatly appreciated.

You do not have a faulty cartridge, you have a dusty mirror in scanner Assembly laser.

You will find the instructions on how to disassemble the printer and clean the mirror through various sources online and probably even in the forums.

The index that identifies your problem is melted magenta from left to right.

If you decide to take the machine apart and clean the flat mirror handle cables very gently then reconnect the very carefully.

  • HP Laserjet 2100: Extra printing appears on the left and right of the page

When I print a document, my Laserjet 2100 prints the information in the document on the left and right sides of pages like a shadow all the way to the bottom of the page. I tried to use the function of cleaning the printer and evolution on the toner cartridge.  Is there anything else I can do?

    Hello

Honestly if the cleaning page does not work, it is time to start thinking in a replacement fuser.

  • "The HP LaserJet 1020 has the open front door or the toner cartridge is missing." Not true

I'm going to print something and the troublescreen said: The HP LaserJet 1020 has the open front door or the toner cartridge is missing. But the door is closed and the cartridge is fine. I put a new in after the message started appearing thinking that the low level of ink was casusing the change. I suspect a mechanical switch is kaput, but do not want to enter the machine. All the switches look and feel like they are working normally.

This little machine of love, it's a real workhorse, simple and effective.  I use a laptop Samsung with Windows 7 and my actions joint the printer using a Toshiba PC. We both get the same response from our little hp... todius

I will now let you know that we have done to resolve this.  My wife has stuck a pencil in the slot of reception for the closed cover pin located on the corner left front of the top cover. She shook it until she was able to close the lid and printing. He now works as it always has.

  • Why does my HP laserjet 1022 produced a black line on the right side of the page?

Why does my HP laserjet 1022 produced a black line on the right side of the page? This occurs by using Word 2003, Photoshop, Acrobat etc. I don't get this with my Epson printer. My printer drivers are all to date. OS = Windows 7.

    Hello dqmcg

Have you checked programs and OS - seemed to be OK, so did a new install of the printer. I have seems to now work OK - IE the files previously printed with lines now don't (only verified although some).

I think that I was naïve in beliving Windows when he says that the printer and the driver were OK, and when I did a re-driver installation, Windows just used the file I already had. Also the "print test page" printer properties was always OK. Must have been very slight damage to the driver who showed up only with certain types of files of a few (different) programs.

Thank you very much for getting my brain to work and begin to think logically.

  • LaserJet P1606dn: does not print the background of the page number of manual

I use the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer.  I am trying to print the user's Guide the HP for a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8620.     The manual is in PDF format.   When you view a page of the manual on the computer screen, the page number appears at the bottom of the screen.  Unfortunately, when printing the printer manual HP Laserjet P1606dn, the page number is not printing.  I tried to use the SHRINK TO FIT to the Laserjet function, but that does not print the page number.

Any advice on how to print the page number would be welcome.   Aaron

Thank YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE!   PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED.  I TRIED TO PRINT THE GUIDE THE USER DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB SITE THAT DID PRINT NOT PAGE NUMBER.    I DOWNLOADED THE MANUAL IN THE MEMORY OF THE COMPUTER AND THEN PRINTED THE GUIDE FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.   THE PAGE NUMBER DID PRINT WHEN YOU PRINT FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.    WHY IT WORKED, I DON'T KNOW, BUT CELA WORKED.

  • HP LaserJet P1102W: HP LaserJet P1102w prints 1/2 inch too far down on the page

When I print with that printer using Word, it starts about a half inch of print down on the page.

I tried to reset to factory settings, but it does not always work on me.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @2poodles2 ,.

I see by your post that when you print from Word, printing is printing too far to the bottom of the page. I'd love to help you.

Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem. Select the method two.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102 and P1106/P1108 Printer Series - printing a Configuration Page.

You have this impression of question from other applications?

If this isn't the case, it may be a margin setting in Word applications. Please check the margin settings.

Make sure that the appropriate settings are defined in the properties of the printer and the application you are printing from.
On the file menu in the software, click on print.
Select the product, and then click Properties or preferences.
    Click the paper/quality tab.
Check the Type of paper size, paper Source, paper, to ensure that they are correct.

    Try to print again.

If you still have problems, copy the Word document and paste it into another program, such as Notepad, to see if you have the same results.

What version of Word are you using?

How is the printer connected? (USB, Ethernet, WiFi)

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the button below the thumbs up.

Thank you. I look forward to hear from you.

  • HP laserjet 1022 does not wait for the user to turn the pages when printing double-sided

My Hp laserjet 1022 printer working properly for years.

So far, when he executed more paper he tried a couple of times to get more paper and then stops with a message on the PC it is out of paper.

Very annoyingly, this has changed recently, now when it is out of paper, he tries a couple of times to get more paper and watch the message on the PC, saying that it is paper and then again, try a couple of times to get more paper and again shows the same message on the PC and him back... This continues to go on and on.

It's especially annoying when trying to print double-sided. Before he used to stop and ask you to turn the pages to print the other side. Now the previous behavior overrides the break to turn the pages and keeps it will try to get more paper. As now, it does not wait for the user to turn the pages, in general it spoils the impression out by getting another paper that is not what I wanted, he drives me crazy! It's really hard to print anything double face now.

    All solutions?

Operating system is Windows 7, I just downloaded and installed the latest driver for this printer "2013-01-09, Version: 20120918" and I get the same behavior. In the properties of the printer that I put some State Messages to Off and at least I don't get the full windows message screen poping up every time the printer is trying again to get more paper. I have not found all the other parameters that may affect this behavior.

    Help!

    Hello

I solved the problem! I found the original CD for the printer. I uninstall the current driver and then install CD and now when the printer is out of paper trying to get paper a couple of times and then stops, as it used to be.

    Thanks for your help.

  • LaserJet Pro 400 M401dw: Laserjet Pro 400 M401dw streaks to the bottom right of the page

My printer is printing with a scratch on the right side of the page.   I Googled, and found that it was the transfer roller, so I took it, cleaned it - did not help.  So I ordered a new, installed - I think that it made it worse.

And every day since then has been getting worse and worse.  I've also seen some information about the cleaning of the print rolls, but I don't see any way to access the rollers on this machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say fuser, ask a technician to service for a second opinion if you can find one to do it cheap, or just replace the printer. M402 is the new model, you can find them usually around US $129 if you look for a sale, or call hp and ask a trade in the case.

You'd know if it was the cartridge if you printer jams while the document was part of the cartridge. Start to print one of the reports in the control panel of the printer, when you hear the printer running start, give it about 1-2 seconds, then open the entry door, the paper must be stuck under the toner cartridge - if the image on the paper seems clean and theres no burrs, then it is the fuser unit. You can also switch the toner and move the flappy door to expose the imaging drum. You should see the latent image of him that you are printing on this color green drum / bluish and if there were any loose toner or the Burr was présent would be obvious.

A report in the admin menu will also help by indicating the usuage of the printer 150 k - 300 k printed pages is all you will get from these

reports settings page or use page and look at the total number of printed pages. (motor cycles)

  • LaserJet pro 400 color: Blue lines on the right side of the page when printing in color

When printing in color I get this blue line that occurs on the right side of the page. It is darkest near the edge and shoot low towards the printed part of the document. It is a vertical line that follows the entire length of the page. I printed a report of quality and it is always present. In my view, this indicates that it is a hardware issue, rather than software. Is there some rolls or the part that needs to be cleaned? Can you provide a link to the instructions?

    Thank you!

    Replace the cyan toner cartridge.

  • LaserJet M451dw: black line to the bottom of the page

When I print a document, a continuous black line appears in the middle of the pages. The first 2 pages are normally well, but the rest of the pages have the black line.  I cleaned the printheads etc.  I hesitate to change the ink because there is more than half a cartridge left in all colors.

It sounds like a faulty black toner cartridge.

After printing open access toner and remove the cartridge and look at the drum and if there is a black line on the drum, then it would prove.

If you have half left toner cartridge is still in warranty and you may be able to get it replaced.

  • all the pages of bad qualities with the toner after replacing the toner cartridge

I just replaced the old cartridge with a new one, but now the pages come out covered in black toner to make the text unreadable. I tried to turn the drum several times following the directions to distribute the toner evenly, but the problem remains. Please advise?

    Hi, Happytohelp01.

    Thanks for your kind response,

I use a black and white HP Laserjet 1010.

I am trying to print a text, the printer does not have a digitization Center.

Yes, this is the first time that I had no problem with this printer.

The toner is melted and begins to run out, so I replaced it with a new replacement cartridge I bought the printer about three years ago. Later, I shook and reinstalled the old cartridge, which seems to work very well with no black spots. The new toner would be obsolete?

  • HP color laserjet m451 print 2nd page upside down, why?

I have a HP Color laserjet m451dn which has a capacity of dulpex automatic. I created a two page brochure in Adobe InDesign CS3. In printing the file, it prints the second page upside. I have front and back on or go back upstairs, the 2nd page is upside down. It does this with my pages of graphics program as well. Can print a Web page, document word without problem [with several pages]. Even if I select "print on both sides" and "Finish" even problem.

Can I print one page at a time? I'm sure I can, but could someone give me the correct instructions: what [s] sandbox use: ending of paper and how to I insert in the tray (external or internal) which direction?

Help, please! It makes me CWAYZEE!

    And thanks in advance,

    Ellen,

If your M451 prints both sides correctly using your MS word or other Microsoft applications, your problem is with the printing preferences in the Adobe package you mentioned, and unfortunately, I can't learn where your package preferences is that allows you to print on both sides in a brochure format.  However, I can help you with "manually printing two-sided" (at your request).  After you printed side 1 of your two-sided brochure, place the side face upwards in the feeder - the top of the page printed forward or inward toward the direction of advance.

No thanks no problem [that sounds weird to say; > D].

I found the solution on my own. As I have said, it was only happening with InDesign CS3 and Corel Draw. I don't think it has to do with the programs BUT, Ta Ta! Here is the solution that I found:

    1. open the print dialog box

    2. After you have put [a journal] in the [set #1] outside bar in the print dialog box, select "Paper Source", then in Tray 1 Manual power.

    3. Select 'Finish' and check "Print on both sides", and then print the first side.

    4. a 'message' on the printer control panel will come [heck, I forgot what he said <> but something to the effect that I should continue the process of printing].

It allows to print the first side, then pull the paper back and the second part print correctly! YEEPEEEE!

It worked and if you have a faster procedure, please let me know. Sometimes to find a "work around" and it works, even if it takes more time do you! But if one more easy procedure that is faster and less "hoops" to pass, my boy.  .  .  I'm a game for it!

Is do what ya have to do, but if a faster easier way comes along, PAHLEEZE! Let me know!

    And thanks again,

    Ellen
