LaserJet M1132 MFP: m1132

I am trying to print a color PDF.

However the print in the pop-up window options shows 'Default' or 'previous setting. There is no drop-down list properties that I can change the setting.

When I print, I get black & white print.

How can I change the setting to get an impression of color I want?

Thank you.

Don't know what you're trying to do; the LaserJet Pro M1132 MFP printer is a monochrome (black & white).

    Hi Deividas,

I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  For the LJ 1130 base series networking is not supported, however for some 1132 models Ethernet network is supported.  It will depend on the exact product/model number for this unit.  Click here to find out how to set up a wired network for 1132 connection the selection of models that supported this option.

1A configuration of network peer-to-peer sharing of the computer that is connected by USB?

    2. What is the number of product to the rear of the unit, should start with J?

    3. how you analyze (front panel, scanning software, etc.)?

Let me know and we can go from there.

  • HP Laserjet M1132 MFP is too slow on the network!

    Hello

My HP Laserjet M1132 MFP is too slow on the network!

I connect the printer to the windows XP 32 bits SP3 using UBS port. The printer works fine on the local computer, but when he shared on the network running too slow, for example with the print test page it takes about 45 seconds to print and other documents, it takes much longer.

I installed the last form HP driver site and update the firmware it the latest version.

It happens on other Windows XP machines as well.

I have connected the printer to my laptop (Windows 7 64-bit) and it works very well (no delay on the network) and it seems that this problem have some relationship with the windows XP Driver.

I used the trick of local port on computers remote (instead of the normal method) like this:

    "add a local printer.
    "new port".
    "localport".
    \\XPcomputer\HPPrinterName port name

    but still nothing!

There is nothing wrong with the network, allows us to use a Samsung printer on the same machines on the network without problem.

    I really appreciate your HELP!

It seems that no one on the planet has the answer to this question!

The only available option is to upgrade your operating system to windows 7 (vista can work, I have no idea!).

  • Scan works only on Laserjet M1132 MFP

I have a problem with scanning on Laserjet M1132 MFP. Print and copy works without problem. But when I try to analyse the scanning application crashes. It says busy and does nothing.

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit, I tried to update the firmware, but that did not help with the problem. When I try to scan it says busy. In fact, you hear as if the scanner tried to analyze something, but the software does not move and repeat that he is busy.

No clue as to what could be the problem?

I found the problem. I had the printer connected to a USB cable for the previous printer (Laserjet 1020) and did not use the original supplied with the M1132MFP.  After I plugged the original cable scanner has started working.

  • HP Laserjet M1132 MFP: drivers for MFP HP Laserjet M 1332 in Mac OS 10.9?

    Hello!

I just changed my old Imac (OS 10.5) to a new one with an operating system of 10.9, and now I have problems to install my HP Laserjet M1132 MFP. I can't find the drivers and do not know what I do. I read in another post, there is a way to install it without drivers, but the link in this post was broken. Everyone knows?

    Thank you very much!

    Arturo

    Hi @ArtMN,

By your post, I see that you need the driver for Maverick. I would like to help you today.

I have provided a document to see how to install the printer through the Apple updates.

Installation of a Mac printer driver by using the Apple software update.

When you add the printer, you will need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer in the list to add it in.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a great day!

  • HP LaserJet M1132 MFP prints not a remote desktop

    Hello

I have a MFP HP LaserJet M1132 (number of product CE847A) connected to a PC (MS Windows XP Home Edition + SP3) via the USB port. There is no problem with the printer. However, when using Remote Desktop connection (it is set to use the resources and local facilities, or in my case, printers and ports series) on the server (MS Windows Server 2008 R2), I can't even print a test of a remote office page.

Error message: "print a test page failed. You want to display a tool to solve printing problems to get help? »

But it does not anywhere as planned is access to the internet, and I've not had a MS Windows Server 2008 R2.
The same error is for the HP LaserJet M1120n MFP.

On my PC I installed another printer - old OKI ML321 (needle) connected to a PC using LPT cable and network printer Konica Minolta 1690MF (in another room). In two of these printers can easily print a test of a remote office page.

    Please help me.

    Thank you for your interest.
The situation is a little different from the image. Windows Server 2008 R2 is available across the WAN. LAN is connected to the PC-1, 2 - PC and printer Konica Minolta. HP LaserJet M1120n MFP is connected through the USB port of the PC-1. OKI ML 3320 printer is connected via LPT also to the PC-1. PC - 1 has access to Konica Minolta printer via the local network. PC - 2 also has access to Konica Minolta printer via the local network. PC - 2 is also available for PC-1 HP and OKI.

It seems to me that I found the explanation for printing problems - some of 'my' printers are simply not compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2. I found on the net the following information:

  • Toner cartridges HP LaserJet M1132 not delivering full capacity

I have a LaserJet M1132 MFP bought last week. USB connection, OS is Windows 8-64 bit. Have upgraded to the latest firmware. Driver is the latest driver for Windows 8. The settings are default (fastres 600).

When using the cartridge provided initial toner with the device, it delivered only about 250 pages of text (text of the note and no graphics) before he missed. I know because I bought three reams of paper when I bought the camera and used half of a package. Coverage was about 50% per page, double-sided. I took and he trembled, but this made no difference.

I bought two new original HP CE285A cartridges as I bought the printer. I was wondering if the original cartridge was a reduced capacity cartridge. So I installed a new cartridge. The toner light came after printing 935 pages (from the status page). Once again, the majority of them were text pages to 50% coverage double-sided.

Each cartridge is £75, resulting in a cost of about 8 p/page page (not counting the cost of the printer) that is outrageous for a laser printer. Packaging estimates approximately 1,500 pages per cartridge, but I clearly did not get anywhere near this with the first cartridge and I don't get that with the other or the other. I have an another HP MFP (3500), which delivers about 5 trains before a cartridge runs out.

I am a very experienced with 25 years in the printing and imaging user and know that estimates assume some coverage. I use a heavy cover. I am very dissatisfied with say the least. Your help and advice appreciated.

    Concerning

    Tony Harris

The only thing you can do to try to extend the life of the cartridge a bit more, it's allow EconoMode on the print driver.  Most likely, this has been activated on the devices tested for the performance of the cartridge.  I'll include instructions to allow below.  Let me know what happens.

    1. Click on the start menu.
    2. Click devices and printers.
    3. Right click on your printer.
    4. Select Printer Preferences.
    5. Click the quality tab.  It can be labeled as the paper/quality tab.
    6. Click the box next to EconoMode to enable it.
    7. Click on apply to save the changes.
    8. Click OK to close the window.
  • HP LaserJet Professional M1132: HP Professional LaserJet M1132 multifunction cannot scan on macbook pro

    Hello

I use HP Professional LaserJet M1132 multifunction. I have already installed the driver and I can print document with that now. But I can't using the scan function. When I click on Preferences system-> printers and Scanners-> choose the printer-> click Open scanner, nothing happened.

As you can see in the photo, the "Scan" button is disabled.

What should I do now? Are there additional software or I need to install driver?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Hey @phuonglm94,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you have some problems with scanning your computer Mac OS x Laserjet M1132 10.11 for the printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. If your printer is connected by USB cable to your Mac, delete it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. Click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
    4. Hold down the CTRL key and click the icon of your printer on the left.
    5. Click on reset printing system.
    6. Restart your Mac.

At this point, you should be able to scan. If you are unable to scan, your operating system is having a problem with its TWAIN drivers. The next step would be to contact the Apple support by clicking this link.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to scan, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

3 days ago 10 Windows installed in my computer suddenly updated. After the update and reboot my PC, Wndows 10 deleted my laserjet m1132 system completely! And now I can't install it again, cause Windows 10 says that my printer driver is 'suspect' and it will be disabled instalation! Auto-detection of the companions of the local HPSupport site do see no printer connected to my PC completely! And PC does not say that all the new devices were connected. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Hey @fliperUA,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I see that your Laserjet M1132 will not be installed on your PC Windows 10. I can help with that.

To install the drivers, we will do the following:

    1. If you have the USB cable connecting the printer to your computer, then remove it.
    2. Uninstall all the software your system associated with the printer.
    3. Disable all firewalls, antivirus, ad-blockers and similar programs on your PC.
    4. Download the latest drivers for your printer by clicking on this link.
    5. If the installer asks you to insert the USB cable then plug the cable at the time.

This should allow you to install the drivers for your printer. If it does not then please let me know what error messages you see now and I should be able to help more.

I hope this helps and I hope you have a great week!

If this solves your problem then please help others to find this post by clicking on accept as Solution on my post.

    Hello.

Well, my printer scan correctly (in photoshop either), copy correctly.

Problem: it's not printing from Windows.

I have a sweet Wiindows (7 and 8 on laptop - same trouble)

I connect printer - and nothing happens. Peviously printer created a virtual disk with the drivers and all was ok. Two last moments where he didn't.

I reinstalled windows 7 spesially for delete a problem, because I need printer more then my progs on old Win game. Nothing happened when I connected (printer)

I can still scan and copy, I can send to print docs in WORD for HP Laserjet M1132 - but that's all. It adds the queue and does not actually print. And some time later said "error - printing".

Tried to put in place the new drivers, to find trouble with Win 7 troubleshooting - nothing helped.

Doctor of HP, new drivers and disabling Win Firewall did not help.

Adjustment of its CD drivers did not help - it is not at all a device.

    (Russia) screenshots: screen 1 , screen 2

I installed it with "I'll connect printer later," restarted. Nothing.

All my attempts to print a Windows test page, HP programs did not, as my camera is totally in depth.

Printer repair center - they said that everything is ok, the printer works from Windows (Photo test page). But they are not programmers, so they won't help = |
