  This model is only a printer based on the host only and there is no available PCL printer driver. You may not use either universal print driver. I would recommend that you connect the Ethernet printer, and then install the driver based on the host at the link below.   We got a paper jam on our printer. One of our employees then pulled this black sheet of our HP LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw. This could really be an original work of this printer? • LaserJet M1217: Error Scanner 22 with a Laserjet M1217 on a wireless network

  I just tried scanning a document using the SCAN TO PC.  It has worked well in the past.

  When I launched the scan, the M1217 was presented to work until the moment where the scanner arm normally begins to move.  I heard a 'click' plastic, then I got SCANNER ERROR 22.

  I followed the instructions on the FAQ section; disconnect the printer from the power, unplug the power cord, counted to 15 sec, plugged everything back in and NADA!  Re-error.

  Check if the scanner lamp turns on.

  Also to see if the scanner moves freely through the glass.

  Hey guys. Trying to discern the manufacturing date for different models of HP Laserjet and Color Laserjet printers by just the model number. HP customer support told me to check the sheets which I assume are in the PDF version of the user manual. I don't know where is the date. Said to look down. I see a few dates down but here of course! I don't have the series right now, only the model numbers. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

  Mac with Yosemite

  LaserJet M1217 more wireless

  Description of the problem:

  I can't scan. Preview, the control panel or image capture, I get the same error saying "cannot open a session.

  I have installed and reinstalled the drivers/printer about 100 times.

  I tried to add the printer/scanner like airprint, or with the name of the printer as a proposed post.

  Just what causes the same error.

  I have the 2.0 version of the driver installed right now. Tried with 1.7, same result.

  I can print without problem since my Mac and my iPad.

  Tried it with an ethernet cable and have the same problem in case someone ask.

  I looked all over google and doesn't seem like someone else has the same problem? Many people have problems printing over wireless, but it's ok for me. Is the scan, I can't go to work.

  Pages of HP does not offer any other driver which has of the Yosemite. HP offers no additional program for Mac and scan.

  Don't know what else to try.

  Unfortunately, your suggestions did not help, and I have a few comments about them.
  First of all, your suggestion about the router was the problem is quite impossible, as you will need to check if the ports are open only in the case we're talking about two different network segments. If you have your printer and your computer in the same segment you will have problems of ports.
  Second: if I would have chosen IP protocol to add my printer, I wouldn't take the option scan, as you said, which means I could not done any tests that I mentioned in my original post, and I would never have had to the point of getting the error message.
  Thirdly: the drivers that you MENTION for download are exactly the same as you get with yosemite, so, this could help to reinstall the driver, it's kind of a long shot (and yes I tried).

  In fact, I managed to solve my problem by doing a factory reset of the printer, any sign of a printer in my computer, cleaning and reinstall the printer using the airprint driver suggested by yosemite where to find my bounjur printer.

  I tried ro think what could be the reason, or to see all what I had changed, and the only thing I've seen different in the configuration before and after he started to work was the name of the printer. When it did not work my printer was called simply "printer", when he was working he was the full name that comes by default. It would be very strange, that this is the reason, but I just mention it here just in case someone read. I believe that the factory reset was the difficulty, not the configuration itself.

  Just for the other readers, I can confirm that this unit can print and scan over my wiresless and cable network on yosemite, with the help of preview, capture image or scan property in the control panel.   Here are some great questions.  The laserjet M276nw doesn't have a manual feed slot.  It is necessary to remove the tray paper out and replace the printer page in the status bar to print on the other side for duplex printing.

  I use laserjet printer on windows 8.1 nfw M1217 x 64 bit. my printer stop responding after I did a last update of the firmware (20150405) which displays an error message (no string RO).

  My printer is connected as the printer network through a router (usb connection).

  I've updated the software (LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution) using the HP installation wizard and after restart windows and followed by updating the firmware of the printer using the installation wizard HP, all of a sudden without doing anything the software gaves a message ' disconnected printer and maybe it restarts or IP changed "while the printer was showing status programming. I didn't touch the printer for 3 hours and message was the same (programming), then I turned off the printer and restarted again, and I found this message (no string RO).

  I think I enter the firmware udate issue although I did the meeting recommended using the HP Installation Wizard, I guess the firmware has not detected the problem before installing the firmware.

  Unfortunetly my warranty period ended last year.

  Any help would be gratful.
