LaserJet P1102W will not accept a new black cartridge

I have a Laserjet P1102W coming out of warranty of 16 days. It won't let me print as it calls for a new black cartridge which I changed to a new one and it still won't let me print. I have tried the factory reset and it still does not work.

Any suggestions to make it work please.

Remove the toner cartridge from the printer and on the left inside of the printer where the toner cartridge,

There is a sensor vertical flag that triggers and detects the toner cartridge when its inserted...

Make sure the sensor is freely switch also check the obstacles inside the area of the cartridge...

to clean the contacts inside the printer and the toner cartridge...

    I have a suggestion:
    Forget to take the backup of files with dvds.
    Buy an external hard drive and use it for backups of files.

    Is what I suggest, if you can load the new page, go ahead and bookmark (you can press Ctrl + d) and save the new bookmark to a suitable location. Then delete the former.

    Or if you really prefer to edit, if you right click on the bookmark, you should get be able to click on properties. The old address under location should be completely removed and you can paste the new address.

    Screen on the printer says "cartridge in the slot on the left is not intended for use in this printer.  Remove and replace.
    It's the exact same cartridge as empty.  There is a flashing yellow light next to the sign +.  I tried
    unplug and plug in again.  I put the old cartridge in.  I turned printer off and back on.
    Nothing seems to help.
