LaserJet Pro M477fdw: Use HP M477fdw toner... well work until the software update

Printer was working fine with the HP - no toner this morning until he did an update of the firmware, just after a print job and now it says there is a memory color error. Call service center Tech says nothing that can be done. Is this true? The printer now allows any toner no HP to use? Altogether, this is BS. I get that it voids the warranty, but it shouldn't stop me to use what I want in the printer. This isn't a problem with the toner cartridges.

    I inadvertently selected the Argentina when setting up my LaserJet printer for the first time. My fingers have been shaken a bit, and so like a fool I even managed to quickly press the confirmation dialog box that then came. Now when I print some documents - such as the HP ePrint confimation webpage - the language seems to be in Spanish, even though the printer confirms that my language settings are in English.

    Is it possible to select the country in a menu of service administrator or something? I tried to reset the printer to factory defaults in the service of the user menu, and my problem has persisted. I even tried a cold reset the printer by turning on/off and right bottom of the touch screen, while the printer went through it's startup process. While the discount to zero worked cold, unfortunately my problem still persists.

    Is it possible to do a full factory reset so that I can choose my language again? Is there someone who may be able to help me with this?

    Step 1: Adjust an image in Lightroom, until you are satisfied with its appearance

    Step 2: Use develop-> new preset, select all selections in the new preset dialog box (note: I always uncheck the exhibition here, who should probably be adjusted picture, I'm mostly interested by contrast, vibrance and camera calibration settings)

    Step 3: In the import dialog box, on the right, under appliquer apply when importing, select the preset desired beside development parameters

    I bought a M476dw about a month ago.  After printing the demo page of color a few times and one or two color prints and then until I changed the default settings, there are a few pages with "accent color. Other that that, I've only been printing black pages since then.

    Supplies report says I have 70% left on my estimated (printed pages: 310 750 remaining) black print cartridge and the remaining 90% on all color cartridges three ((printed pages estimated 33 remaining > 1000)

    I realize, these are just estimates, but I'm surprised that 33 pages of printing almost all who were just the accent color resulted in 10% of the consumed color cartridges.

    I have printer connected directly to the wall and leave it on all the time, so no excess cleaning cycles are generated, and my default print mode is: black & white / grayscale printing.

    I know that provided cartridges are cartridges 'starter' but are there still other factors under MY control on colour toner consumption?

    Hi Jim, The M476 turn all durning cartridges a print job mono-noir, even if the color toner is not applied to the page.  It's features of the motor to the drum cartridge luberciate and prevent damage.  The rotation is counted even if there is no toner applied to the page.  As you mentioned the status of supplies is an estimate and is controlled by the firmware of the engine, and levels of toner alerts can be set to low or very low, with other settings under each heading.  Basically, the State of cartridges supplies is an estimate, based on the use and rotations or print quality may continue until the age is observed or impression continued after the alert status.  A research on HP support/troubleshooting on this topic could provide additional resources.

  • Color LaserJet Pro M252dw: "error memory of supply" for a cartridge after software upgrade. Now unusable printer

    Software update on October 8, 2016 resulted in 'Providing a memory error' for the Cyan cartridge. Co-incidentally, it's the only 3rd - Party cartridge in the machine. All cartridges were working perfectly before the upgrade. The machine is now completely in-can be used as the message seems to inhibit printing.

    The cartridge is more than 80% full and I do not wish to replace in an attempt to achieve a solution in this way.

    I tried:

    * Remove and reinsert the cartridge

    * re-start in as many ways as I can think.

    * check whether the absolute latest version.

    * Search the forums for any solution - without success and similar messages

    I have an urgent need to print and I am very unhappy that I have no way to contact HP directly a defect in software on a product a few months out of warranty. I hope that I will not this escalation outside HP.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium: Tray Lock worked until the upgrade of Windows 10

    Since a year now, I have 1 locked drawer for our book of receipt only, easier than all the other printing set to automatically select the default tray to tray 2 (Tray 1 is locked and all)! But I tried the upgrade of Windows 10, that was an epic fail and my cpomputer was sent to the doctor for the day. When I came back I had to basically start over with a new computer. I have everything back to be better than before, but THIS problem! Receipts in Tray 1 and my payment software its configured for Tray 1 specifically for receipts. All other default things that select and always tray 2. I can't anything out of tray 1. HOWEVER, my boss's computer is on a network with it and when it prints a receipt from his computer he properly dispences Tray 1. Yet.

    Is the other computer Windows 10 institutions, who works for printing on tray 1?

    It looks like Windows 10 and the software you are using does not work with the printer driver, what might happen.

    You are able to print to Tray 1, when printing from MS Word or Notepad?

    Please ensure that you use the latest printer driver for your printer.

    Download and run The printer Installation Wizard. The HP printer installation wizard detects automatically the best print available for your HP printer driver. It is only available for Windows 7, 8 and 10.

    Can you elaborate on the Mac Pro model you're talking about? You do not understand that the iMac has nothing to do with the Mac Pro, they are separate templates and are different from the model years. What you are trying to update? What version of Mac OS X Mac Pro work?

  • I have problems with window vista boot as well as with the windows updates.

    Windows vista does not restart.   I have to go int recovery and channge the computer to an earlier point in time.

    In addition, widows update will not work.  Simply runs for hours and downooads nothing.

    1. don't you make changes on the computer until the problem started?
    2. do you receive error messages when you start?

    I suggest you perform a repair of the system using a Vista installation disc.

    I agree with Billy.

    Why are you not using an INSERT..SELECT ?
    
    Also, what are you trying to achieve by
    - incremental commits?
    - copying data from one table to another (using expensive I/O)?
    - using dynamic DML?
    
    Most of these approaches are typically wrong - and not recommended for scalable and performant Oracle applications.
    

    I could see you using a CURSOR for LOOP if you change the data inserted so that you could not encapsulate the changes in a query, but you do an insert in right in the table of your cursor. A much more effective way would be to use the following changes I made to your code sample:

Spent 3 hours on the phone today, a refund 2 with tech, the rest of the post sales and pre-sales who was supposed to be calling me back with a list of printers that can do what I need, but all first does not, so I called again and she promised that she would appeal before s/n and still did not! Massively unproductive day. OK rant over.

    So I bought the above and it does everything I need IF I want to rise to the printer and scanner as a pdf for printing. My old 8600 OfficeJetPro I stood there, chosen analysis, it would be as if scanning to PC / Email. / USB / Fax etc. I would say PC and scanned and sent to my PC folder on dropbox and open the pdf file automatically.

    The LaserJet printer seems no analysis like that, unless it is connected to a network folder, which tech was able to put in place. He wants only to use Windows fax and scan, which is a JPEG - no good for me.

    It may not really be so complicated and I'm sure it's possible. I tried uninstalling etc and all the drivers on the HP site but nothing worked.

    Can someone help me?

    Hi Glenda,

    HP Laserjet printers don't offer direct scanning to a computer like HP inkjet supply, scan to a computer can only be done by HP itself scanning software and not by the front panel of the printer.

    You can find the manual to the user below, any method of scan supported is listed (see Scan page v):

    You can go the HP from your PC only software from the Control Panel before you can only scan to a USB Flash drive, a shared network folder, a mail server, two emails or folder scan network are available for network connected device.

    Scanning pages multuple to separate files of the feeder can do with your device.

    Open the HP software under start > all App > HP > folder for your printer model.

    You can simply select Save in JPEG, the result will be a separate file for each page.

    In addition, you can select Save in PDF, click on more, and go to the Destination tab.

    Click on the drop-file Type and check the "Page" for each scanned page, then press OK and press the Scan button,

  • Printer HP Laserjet Pro M201dw: Drop-outs of HP M201dw print after the 1st page of the multiple-pg docs

    Installed M201dw HP laserjet on home network: router Asus Dark Knight (RT-N66U).  All PC running IE 11, Win 7/64 Prof.  Config page shows no IP addr for printer.

    Printer does not print more than 1 page of multi-page documents.  PCL XL Error message print at the top of page 2 and printer abandoned the remaining pages in the print job.  Printer display reads "Ready"; serial printer ' wireless on.»  No error message on PC.   No special printing parameters for employment; sided printing.

    Latest printer driver downloaded from HP; printer "USB001 Virtual printer for USB Port."

    Note: Took 3 hours to install this printer 'plug and play '.  Installation kept failing.  And, earlier this evening, when the printer was falling asleep, all computers thrown off network... None of this was happening until we added the printer to the network.

    Can anyone help with our printing problem?   If not, it goes back to the store before April 30 and I'm going to buy a used HP 1200.  (Thank you, in advance, for any help you provide.)

    All your suggestions had already been verified or updated before posting, but kept for lack of print documents from PC Word.  Called HP technical support never coming back as they promised, so I was wondering what was different between implemented for HP M201dw and previous HP printer laserjet that printed very well... and it was the printer port.

    Automatic installation, put in place a port USB001 wireless printer... the port should be Port TCP/IP Standard.  Once the port has been changed, all printed documents without fail.  (This will, we hope, also fix PCs disconnection from the WIFI when the printer goes to sleep). Printer port has been at the origin of the recent problems of printing with printer upgrades or changes to router and I should have changed it first, but I assumed that the Technical Support representatives two HP I knew on the phone knew better.
