Last update causing error in system memory

I just ran the update on my iMac and have the death rotation color wheel!  The system is out of memory the application twice!

I have an iMac 27 inch late 2009

I can't get anything to work, and the system has installed 16 GB.  I had a similar problem with Mail eat all the memory the application when I did an update in December and now it's happening again.

Help, please!

Dead in the water.

Try restarting your Mac in safe mode:

-Stop your Mac

-Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the power button

-Just after you hear the startup tone, press in and hold the SHIFT key

-Release the SHIFT key when you see a gray Apple sign and the progress under this sign bar

-Once you see office, start a scan Disk Utility to detect and repair file system errors (remember to choose your primary hard drive)

-Click on the disc to check, then, if requested to solve the problems on the repair disk

-After that click on verify disk permissions, and then click Repair disk permissions

-Once the process is complete, stop your Mac and turn it on again after 30 seconds

I hope this helps!

  • Last update caused service ip to stop working

"Since my last update of Windows (3 days ago), I am constantly the error ' IP Helper has stopped working".  I searched the forums, but nobody else seems to have reported this problem.  The update of windows made 6 updates, so I don't know which one it was that caused the problem, or to cancel.  Took me to warn me of updates so I can review them before installing windows.  There was nothing unusual in the updates.

    me. Mac,
You can stop the service and then test your machine. The service performs the following operations: provides tunnel connectivity using IPv6 transition technologies.  It is not used by most users.  You can stop the service and verify that none of your internet use is affected.

To stop the service, click Start > type 'services' in the search box and press ENTER.  Then in the Services window, scroll down to the IP assistance service, click it, and then click on the button "Stop service" (it looks like a square stop button and is located on the toolbar).

  • 17.0.1 update causes errors at the launch of Illustrator

Since the last update Illustrator CC yesterday, I can't open the app as it says police Verdana must be enabled - I have the latest version of suitcase Version 5 and it is said that Verdana is activated permanently (Tahoma too, I read it from another thread here, it is activated permanently), I tried a stop and restart , an uninstall & reinstall Illustrator CC Creative cloud and again, it won't work. Any suggestions? I had problems with the activation of CC & fonts for some unknown reason, I have the latest version of Suitcase Fusion 5 I thought I could fix any problems (instead seems to have created them)

    Personified salvation & Monika,

Embodied with the last AI CC on MAC 17.0.2 update you should not disable all your fonts. Just check that all 4 fonts Verdana family are present and enabled in the State in the system fonts folder.

@Monika: thank you very much for sharing the thread, but this thread was more related to the problem of crash on MAC with 17.0.1 day which team has corrected in 17.0.2 update.

    Kind regards

  • last updated causes a loss of mts compatibility

I am running cs4 on Server 2008. My full version accepted mts format until my last update.  Now, I get a message that says not supported file format.

It's strange because his stand and media encoder accept this file.

This is just first pro.  even windows media player runs the file very well.

I asked for support and they said that it would take a few days for them to work on this issue.

Check when you create a new sequence that you have XDCAM and HDV and AVCHD presets available as choice. If this is not the case, your version is returned to the mode of trial and you must disable, uninstall, run clean Script CS4 2 or 3 times, reinstall, activate and update. (Deactivation and activation may not be necessary, but I would advise that it is safe).

  • Skype or last update causes the disconnection, accidents

Have used Firefox for several years. Today, I was forced to upgrade to Skype 7.1. Immediately after the installation of Skype, Firefox would be is more to connect to internet or load web pages (tab "connection... ("say forever). Other applications and browsers work fine and there is no interruption to the internet connection of the PC. After about 2-3 minutes of this, Firefox will crash if left alone.

After that, firefox.exe remains as a process and can never be completed. I try 'end process' and 'End process Tree' in the Manager of tasks without success.

Firefox remains a task in the Manager of tasks forever, even when the browser window is closed. If I try to re - open Firefox from there, I get the error "Firefox is already running but is not responding". When I click on "Close Firefox", I get a new error message that says: "cannot load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. After that I'm 'OK' of this, I can't do anything else that to restart the computer to get rid of firefox.exe Manager tasks... and then the cycle repeats.

Not sure if Skype is to blame that Firefox updated itself today. I blame Skype because it was the same Weird hanging in the Task Manager without ever closing until I disabled the video processing in Skype (and due to the suspicious timing).

I tried clean re - installed, running Firefox with disabled modules and re - install Skype as well. Same behavior in all cases.

Any suggestions? Note that I am submitting this from another machine.

This may mean that a loaded program is causing the problem.

What type of blocking programs do you use?

Check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > uninstall programs.
    Mac: Open the folder "Applications".
    Linux: See your user manual.

Go through the list. If you find something that you do not

  • Last update messed up my system.

The latest updates I have downloaded really screw with my system.  Even if I used 'Restore' to go back, the system always displays the problem.  Problem is, the system now has slowed to a few a crawl caused by two seconds the mouse pointer changes, changes to this circle of rotation, indicating that the system is busy doing something, then it closes, then goes back right and still once after a few seconds, that's to the point where everything I load up , like IE, takes a lot of time.  The updates that I downloaded and then returned on the "Restore" function, are "Cujulative update for Media Center for Windows 7 (KB981078)", "update Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for Windows 7 x 86 (KB982526)", "Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile for Windows 7 x 86 (KB982670)", 'Update for Windows (KB980846)', update for Windows 7 (KB982519).

I thought that maybe the update everything evil turned on a single system and decided to try it on another system of mine, and exactly the same thing happens.  My other system got to the point where I just said 'screw it' and I'm going back to the configuration/installation of the plant.  I write this as a warning to all who may want to download the updates, I wouldn't say until they get things worked on "MHO" and hoping that maybe someone could help me with a fix (when it exists) and I hope the attention of MS on the occasion of something going wrong here it updates.

I would be grateful for any feedback.  Man, even in typing this out the pointer is made that and making me take a lot more time to post this topic... sheeesh.

Thanks for the tip.  I just thought that I would come back to update everyone on this issue.  It seems that, after a few days of having to put up with it, it is stopped without any intervention from me.  I don't know what it was, nor at this point I even care, but after a while (on my system, in any case), it just stopped.  I could not even tell if there was something specific he is, who was running in the background, which could have caused it.  As far as I could say nothing other than running usually works (Windows stuff and my stuff installed).  Well, I hope that it happens as well for others as it has for me.  I'm just glad that it's over.

  • What is error in system memory dump files and is it ok to delete

can someone tell me what are the system error memory dump files and mini dump files and is it OK to remove them to give me more memory hard drive

They are for when your computer blue screens, it exports the files of the ram disk for troubleshooting.  Yes, it is safe to remove them if you do disk cleanup.

  • CC was last updated caused brush lag on all versions of Photoshop.  How can I fix?

Since the update of last week at CC, I noticed a decrease in performance on all versions of Photoshop, I installed, CS6 and CC.  Many of the brushes I by default Photoshop and my own custom sets, lag horribly at the establishment.  My system didn't already have this problem that I can tell.  Just to be sure, I tested Photoshop on other versions, a macbook pro and a near top of the line PC.  The lag occurs on all systems.  I tried drawing with just the mouse and the Cintiq 12WX and responsiveness is the same.

For the reasons of this case, here are the specs of my main work computer.  All the drivers are up to date, as is the operating system:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40 GHZ

    RAM: 8 GB

    Operating system: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

Hard drive: Samsung 830 256 GB Solid State (where my player scratching's)

    Monitor: 2 X Dell U2410

I tried to change the settings of OpenGL and disabling altogether on all generations, including this one. There is no change in the shift of the brushes.

Full for clarity, here is high near the line of PC specifications and the Macbook, which both had the same questions:

    The PC:

Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4 GHz overclocked to 4.4 GHz

    RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz

    Operating system: Windows 8 (64-bit)

Graphics card: 2 X EVGA Nvidia GTX 670 4 GB SLI

    Hard drive: 2 X Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD, Raid 0

Monitor: 27 "Cinema Display from Apple

    MacBook Pro:

Processor: Intel Core i7 2.7 GHz

Operating system: OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion

Hard drive: Western Digital 500 GB 7200 RPM

Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 630 M

I also tried to uninstall completely and re-installing Photoshop CS5 and CC on my work computer, which still has not resolved the problem.

I'm a freelance artist and this sudden loss of performance puts a cramp in my time and possibly in my income stream, if I can't solve this problem quickly.  Please advise!

Well, after a completely useless tech support call, I managed to fix it myself by checking the attributes of each brush dragged one by one.  As far as I know, almost all troublesome brushes share the attribute of having their game of spacing to 1%.  Change the spacing of a higher percentage setting the lag helped tremendously.

I downloaded a video illustrating my lag issue, but also the solution. I hope this helps someone else to be the same issue:

Disconnect and connect to Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Disable anti-virus and firewall temporarily if possible.

Then launch the CC application that you are trying to update. Click on the help menu, and then select the updates option.

  • Error "operating system not found" Vista on HP Pavilion DV6700

I get a recurring "Operating system not found" error on my HP laptop. To let you know - I have backed up all the files on the DVD machine.

The problem started last week.  I tried to turn the machine on and got the error.  I did a scan of the hard disk BIOS and the hard drive passed all tests.  I then tried to insert the first of the 3 recovery DVD in the laptop, but they did not start.  Finally, I used the partion (by pressing F11 at startup) to access the system recovery program.  Then I did a system restore to roll back the last Windows Update.  Windows has started, but it took awhile.  I used the PC for a week or two (backup everything!) and of course, I got the error again.  I went through the same process above, but do not restore the last update of Windows, the system does not yet recognize operating system.  Use the system restore, then rolled back the most recent update window.  System startup, but it takes a long time to start.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?  Should I do a system restore and start from scratch?

    Hi Questionme,

You're able to boot inSafe Mode?  If the system starts in Mode safe without delays, we can eliminate the default settings and drivers for devices such as the cause and you can use theclean boot in order to identify a driver or a possible confrontational program. In addition, runchkdsk /r from an elevated command prompt (also valid for Vista) to verify the integrity of your hard drive.
