  The only way I found to do what you ask for is:

  1. prepare your Rough Cut in the prelude and send it to the first

  2. once in the first, I copied my audio track 1 audio (stereo) and copied in 2 Audio and Audio 3 (in duplicate)

  • Note: I had to create two additional audio tracks to the sequence in PR. I upgraded them.

  3. right click on the Audio 2 clip and select "Audio channels...". "in the context menu

  4 uncheck the RIGHT way - so all you have is the LEFT channel enabled for this audio track

  5. pass Audio 3 and repeat steps 3 + 4 above, but this time clear the RIGHT channel in the dialog box "Audio channels...". ».

  6. cut the Audio track 1

  I realize that it is a manual process. We hope to provide a better solution, go ahead - be able to modify dynamically the Audio settings of sequence for example would have toured here - but of course that option does not exist currently.

  If you are looking to get audio only from a YouTube video, all you need to do is read your video and while it's going to copy the link. Then on another tab, open listentoyoutube.com. Just follow the easy directions and paste the link.

  Hope that helps. I found out a month ago and I have 4 CD made from these audio files. There is a lot of fun to find obscure stuff and making CD of songs.

• Can't get through SPDIF, only stereo audio 5.1

  Hi all

  I just did a new install of Windows 7 and I can't get sound from my rear speakers SPDIF using Creative XtremeMusic card.

  I installed the latest drivers from creative website (SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0013). In the creative control panel audo, I exverything install because I think it should be. speaker 5.1, external decoder under settings of the decoder system and digital I/o under the entry.

  What I get on my speakers, is that the rear sounds are played on the front speakers. My receiver says Dolby Digital 8 [3/2.1], so the digital output of map entering work, but I don't get 5.1 only a 2.1 or stereo as far as I can make out. I use 2 different sound sources, PowerDVD 8 with some DVD 5.1 and also testing Windows DTS Dolby & under the control panel. Both give the same results, 2.1 or stereo sound.

  Any ideas on what I might be missing or why the rear speakers aren't currently. I tried unistalling/re-installing drivers. It worked on my previous installation of vista. Any help is appreciated!

  Hi Odie1978, what are the new drivers of Creative? I always see the same ones of June for X - Fi card series on their Web site. Microsoft released new drivers have today as well?

  Yes you are right, it is June 1... but I found 1 using the explicit and manual on the bottom part placed windows 7 64 bit. We found it with the configuration manager that I downloaded with it and it worked.

  If you look at the CODEC, it's Xvid version open source DivX, just as I suspected. These almost never work forward. The best workflow is to go before the Xvid compression (these are strongly compressed, lose a ton of data and quality), or to convert them to DV - AVI Type II with 16-bit 48 kHz PCM/WAV Audio files. I use DigitalMedia converter, but it is a shareware. Many users singing the praises of the Prism free to do the conversions. I've never used, but many here have and give it a very high rating.

  Note: no conversion program cannot recover this loss of data and quality. He is lost and gone forever. That's why my first option was to return before this compression is applied. However, conversion will produce files that can be modified both video and Audio.

  [Edit] do know not why/how they worked before. Usually, with the Xvid or DivX CODEC, you will get an error cannot import, or will get Audio or video only. I was never able to change any Xvid or DivX files in pre or PrPro - never, even once. I simply convert, if the client is unable to obtain the original source files, and I have even a diagram of loss of quality to show them how the film will look - not very good, IMHO. I make them sign on this loss of quality, before you start.

  Hope someone can answer this question.  A series of video clips I took more than a week.  After I started putting them together, I somehow 'lost' video.

  They appear as a video clip in the menu screen, but when I play them it is only the audio portion that appears.

  I was able to set up video clips, edit them (using PE7) and save them as a project.  A few days later, I went to see and they appeared as audio only.

  These two lines make me wonder a bit. I wonder if you are looking at and try to play the appropriate files. Let me give a little background, just so that we're both on the same page. First a few questions: when you have transferred the files to the SD card, what format they appear like? Where you copied them? Would you download and install G-Spot. Run one of these files that you copied to the SD card, and see what this program shows, expecially high to the right of the screen, where the CODEC used is displayed. There will be both the 'name' of the CODEC and the complete specifications of it. This info may contain a response for us. Then look at the bottom left of the screen G-Spot. You will see two columns of squares, with the number 1 in them. One is for video and one for Audio. Press the #1 for video and you * should * get a box below, with #2 inside. Hit and you * should * get a box with a #3 in there. Yet once, hit #3, and you'll get a tiny Viewer at the top left of the screen. Your video * should * play. You may also make the Audio too.

  Now for the info: PE, when you save, you don't save a project file with the. Extension PREL. It's only a database, without media inside, only the links to the media. There are also some consistent Audio files that appear in the folder structure of project of the MOU, which will have the same file name, as your media files, but the. WAV extension.   I suggest you to check if the hardware acceleration of the display device setting is too high.
