LCM-importing relational data-> planning units

In LCM, when I import relational data, I don't want to import account Annotations, extra and the texts of the cell details because there may be a lot of junk in them. Relational data section also includes "planning unit". Do I have to import the planning units? Is this Unit the same as this combination Dept Planning, scenario / Version? I find it odd that the planning units would be by virtue of the section of relational data. When I import the Type of Plan, I would expect planning units to be automatically copied to.

Hello

The planning unit information should all relate to any workflow you have in progress, if you want to migrate your current workflow then you migrate planning units.

See you soon

  • Importing a master plan, but leaving aside its data.

    Hello

We are working on a project and the phase of development is completed. We would go to production with an empty database. The problem that we face is that the pattern of development contains the data used to test the application. This schema must be imported into the production, but we do not want to import its data. Is there a way to achieve through import/export? If so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

You can use the LINES = N argument in your call to the export utility to export the structure but no data.

  • Smartphone data plan (BBM, navigation and Blackberry Protect) blackBerry stops working on Blackberry 9930

Hi I was using my Blackberry 9930 for a little over a year now, with the same data plan.

A few days ago my laptop could not start, so I reinstalled my OS. However after successful relocation, I met a problem to access the surveys BBM, browser and Blackberry Protect.

Wifi, browser and Appworld are fine (BBM and Blackberry Protect not fine).

However, when I turn off my wifi, I get this.

Check the service book, I noticed many missing articles...

Please note that these are ALL the elements, nothing more to scroll down for.

I noticed there is an additional element in Options > device > advanced system settings: i.e. the enterprise activation

Click to open the Enterprise Activation (I also get this window when I open the mail setup), I come to the page of connection probably BES.

Other messages, I understand that this could be the it policy. I've done many factory reset, via DM directly, via the command prompt using the loader/nojvm command and /resettofactory

    Things I did without success:

-Full Wipe and reinstall operating system (7.1.0.580, 7.1.0.755 and 7.1.0.991)

-Remove the policy with the above methods

-Record of Routing Table, locally on the host's phone and asking the carrier to do so.

-Access my site of carrier (telkomsel.blackberry.com) of the pc and return Service directories.

    Things to note:

-Emails are working properly, can send and receive without wifi

-Browser and Appworld are fine, only when the wifi is enabled

-Change SIM on another blackberry, my data plan works perfectly

-If I add a contact (phone B) through BBM surveys, phone B receives the request. However when a phone B accepts, nothing happens.

-L' opposite is not true. Phone B please, my phone receives no notification.

My career was told that my PIN code may be suspended/compromised, is it possible? and how should I proceed if it is true?

    Please advice and much appreciated.

    Thanks for the clarification.

The carrier States that I have to bring this matter to Blackberry since:

    1. I did not buy the handset of them (carrier)

    2. they have proved that my data plan works when the SIM card is transferred to another handset.

Assuming that the suspension of the SPINDLE is true, nobody knows how should I proceed?

Indeed, the situation is delicate. The support service is always the responsibility of the carrier, because they are the entity that provides services. But subsidies related to the device falls to the original place of purchase, or an entity to which they have assigned to your supported devices. When the unit was purchased elsewhere, the service provider can refuse support for issues related to the device. And it seems that your service provider is to determine it's a question related to the device rather than a question related to the service. I don't know if this conclusion is correct or not... I tend to interpret your situation as related to the service, rather focus on the device, but I have not seen the 'rules' that they must follow to do this.

As such, your next step would be to contact the Manager of your support related to the device. Maybe it's your place of origin of the purchase, a service centre or other entity... it varies depending on the region, and I have no idea of what the device-support model is made for you. If you are unsure, contact your original purchase for orientation.

If all goes well, they will be ready to take your case and it degrades to the BlackBerry without cost to you. I can't say whether they will be or will not be. Sometimes, when issues come and the two types of support (device and service) are not provided by the same entity, there may be a tendency for each to blame others, unfortunately, leaving the end user without recourse, but to continue to try to climb with both entities until you reach someone who will be willing to take responsibility and provide the necessary climbing.

There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the original question, since you are not through support contracts that are in place. If you want to study, you can check it out here:

There is also this link, but I can't vouch for its usefulness because I've never needed to use it and reports in our community here indicate mixed results. But you can try:

  • Unable to use its data plan after the update to 9.3.1 iPad2

iPad2 updated to version 9.3.1 without any problem but is no longer connected to the sound (paid in full) AT & T data plan.   I tried to erase network settings (with a reboot or a warm reboot), but nothing brings back the ability to use data WITHOUT using a Wi - Fi connection.  I don't think it's a matter of AT & T because when I connect to the account, it shows a lot of data to be used and another 28 days left to use.   I'm 2 hours return in an APPLE store if it is not an option.  I'm just glad that my excluded AT & T iPad3 were unaffected by this problem.  I also have an another iPad2 that got caught in the drama of the first version of 9.3, but I would rather add a data plan for * from now (as a way to test).

    Thoughts?

    This give a try.

Yes, another new problem with the latest version. Turn off cell phones or put the device in airplane mode... Turn off the iPad. Give it a minute or two. Turn on iPad. Back on cell phone or take the unit off airplane mode. Fixed until you turn the iPad distributed.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Confusion with Q10 and BES vs data plan

    Hello

I've received three different types of information to Service the customer O2, O2 shop and my client who spoke thus to the O2.

Basically, my client is on a tariff of BES. She wants to update her phone and I have suggested Q10, but we are facing problems with the compatibility of the plans.

Apparently, if she gets Q10, she can't keep the BES rate as the phone is not compatible. What I don't understand is:

[a] if I buy a phone and put a SIM card, I get data (internet for email, bbm, internet) regardless of the model, without having to activate the Enterprise BES Activation. So technically I could buy Q10, keep the same rate, just don't enable the Activation of Enterprise BES and just use Active Sync?

[b] if I get a phone and enable users to email using the enterprise BES Activation, what data? Is BES process all incoming email differently, that is to say what is received in an email not included in the data plan or data is treated in the same way without activation?

[c] I thought that BES is simply to download contacts/calendars/emails, and set the phone based on the needs of the company but in a sense, that of what makes Active Sync, right?

I would be eternaly Grateful if someone could explain this in simple English because I feel like my head's going to explode. :/

    Thank you!

    (a) Yes.

    (b) BlackBerry10 devices must be on a server BES10 or later.

    (c) download no.. Synchronize calendars/contacts/emails - Yes, and much much much more, which allows some Admins BES/BES10 set controls, to push policies to the unit, place tighten security on the device.

  • Z10 Z10 blackBerry on a normal data plan (not BIS)

After researching if the Z10 operates on a data plan normal and not a BIS and of course it worked perfectly on Wi - Fi without a SIM card, wanted to just make sure that they are compatible with a normal cellular data plan, I went for it yesterday and Yes, everything worked except BBM, hell the BlackBerry logo disappeared from the home screen. I have contacted my provider and they shocked me, they told me it is not possible to not have an ENCORE with the Z10, and they were surprised, I was able to browse the net and send and receive e-mails, and they said they cannot support me!
So why did I do that? A normal data plan is cheaper here, in the UNITED Arab Emirates, my cancelled BIS gave me 500 MB to 79AED, and the normal data plan gives me 1 GB for 50AED. Is there no work around for this before that I have to go back?

    Hey ya3goub,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

10 blackBerry smartphones require a data plan normal of your network service provider.  However the network service provider must support BlackBerry 10, otherwise some BlackBerry services will not work.

Also BIS data plans are not available for smartphones BlackBerry 10.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry 10 wifi vs data plan

    Hello
    Here's the problem:
At home, I use Wi-Fi with my z10, when I leave the House, my logic says that the unit should switch to the data connection / service plan provided by the companies I have active.
What happens is that im without any connection and I have to turn off the wifi and restart the device. Can someone help me pls for this problem?
    Thank you

I communicate with your wireless service provider and make sure that your data plan is configured correctly. If this does not fix it they have to escalate your case to BlackBerry.

  • MMS are part of the SMS plan or data plan?

MMS are part of the SMS plan or data plan?

On At & T the answer to your question is YES.

    By the site:

"200 text messages, picture, video and instant messaging (IM) per month. Additional messages are 10 cents each. »

E-mail image and video = MMS

IM is also included, but the related data charges still apply (I do not recommend using IM unless you have at least 1,500 or dinners like every single return & more account (for example, you can reach 200 relatively easily, even in a single session).)

In addition, I also called AT & T support to check that MMS is included.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry data plan?

Recently, I asked advice on how to configure mail on my blackberry 8800 in which he suggested I ask my supplier to activate the blackberry data plan (talktalk provider vodafone network) I am gratefull for the quick and helpful response. However, they responded with all the information I need to put in place it's OS 5 or higher. However, it is 4.5.0 (I did an update of the software through my desktop program is aware). Therefore, they say that I need to get the support of blackberry to activate the activation or enterprise data plan. I can't see how to access the blackberry directly for this support all their links are to aid which does not cover my problem or allow me to talk to someone who can help. I really hope that someone can help me, or what I thought, was that a nice smartphone will be rendered useless and not more useful than a nokia £9.99. Eternally hopefull b.Croll

    Hello

The reason why it is so hard to communicate directly with the BlackBerry is because, due to the nature of the support to which contracts everyone is related, such is not allowed. Instead, carriers can increase case through formal until BlackBerry channels if this assistance is necessary, but the end-user cannot bypass and go directly to the BlackBerry (well, not for free). Thus, the one who gave you this advice was wrong...

There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the original question, since you are not through the contract, you signed at the time of purchase. If you want to study, you can check it out here:

It is also perhaps a few good reading here:

But according to your description, I am not sure there is no hope for your old device... research through this portal you will need:

    You will need to

    1. Find all the carriers that support your specific model BB number
    2. Compare levels of OS for your device that they currently support

If a carrier has a package that is OS5, then you can use... but if no carrier has such a package of OS5, then your BB is just too old to be useful in this way. The 8800 is really old (released in 2007), so I have no indication to you as what carriers look at... You probably have to undertake the tedious process of watching all them to see which support it, as appropriate.

If you do not find a bundle of BONES of a carrier that will work according to the instructions you have been given (OS5), then we can provide you with instructions to install it to your BB.

However, keep in mind also that, even if you do not find a such operating system, if your specific carrier does not natively support your specific model BB number, then you will have still some significant challenges before you. Carriers networks provide the registry entries (HRT) and service book needed for the BBs to allow them to operate on their network. But, as a general rule, the rack system made for the specific model number BBs that their system is supported... other model numbers must perform a difficult process to extract, a different BB, the elements needed to work on that carrier network. A significant challenge to overcome, without any guarantee of success.

    Good luck!

  • Queries Smartphones Rogers Blackberry Bold blackBerry - wireless and data Plan-

I talked to people at Rogers and have seen various posts, and I am VERY confused.

Currently, I have a new Blackberry "BOLD" (since 12/14/08) with

    a data plan.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) if I'm on Wifi (checked under managed connections - service status) and I'm surfing Internet, do I get charged for usage under the Rogers data plan?

    (2) if I'm on Wifi (checked as stated above) and I use the BB services

like Blackberry Messenger, which are charged according to the Rogers data plan?

My assumption has been that Wifi for browsing the Internet (using the Hotspot browser) should NOT pay i.e. does not pass by Rogers but services Blackberry (BB Messenger, my Gmail and Hotmail account) would be charged under the Rogers plan data through the network 3 G or Wifi.

Can you get it someone please let me know if the above is correct, because I'm quite confused.

    Thanks in advance... Elliot

    (1) if I use the Internet Hotspot browser using Wifi to surf the Internet, I should NOT charged under the plan of Rogers data... is this correct?

    Yes is correct.

    (2) there are I understand that Internet Hotspot browser does NOT work when Wifi is NOT working... is this correct?

    Yes is correct.

My other post was on the features of the Blackberry like Blackberry Messenger, mobile.blackberry.com, do not work with Hotspot Wifi browser.

  • Import of data dictionary

    Hello

I have a problem with the Import of data dictionary.

    1. I have all the tables in the DB schema Oracle 11 (Test - the name of the schema).

2 Date Modeler 4.0 I use Import / data dictionary.

    3. in the data dictionary import wizard I create the name of the connection, select schema and select objects to import.

    4. After completing this process I see the tables in the relational model but with the schema name: schema_name.table_name. I would have just table_name. I tried to use the options to compare models (before merger) but no result.

If you don't want the schema name to appear in the generated DDL, you can unset the 'include schema DDL' option on the Data Modeler/DDL preferences page (which is accessible in the Help menu).

  • Re-import table data dictionary

    Hello

I recently created a relational model with more than 2000 paintings by importing the data from the data dictionary. Unfortunately, I left out a few tables when I originally created the template. How can I add the tables after the fact? I tried to go through the process of reimportation again, but it doesn't seem like it adds tables. Thank you!

    Hello

Are there any error messages in the log file?  (This is normally datamodeler.log file in the datamodeler\datamodeler\log folder, unless you set a different location on the environment/log preferences page.)

Note that if you want to update the properties of Java, the updated file is different for the version 4.0.0.833 Data Modeler.  AddVMOption reports should be updated in the product.conf file and not in the datamodeler64.conf file. Assuming you are on Windows 7, you should be able to find the product.conf file in the file C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler\4.0.0.833.

  • Calcmgr rules bypass restriction of read/write planning unit property?

    Hi all.

    11.1.2.2 planning

I have obsaerved a rule configured to allow writing a value on an intersection in the form of database, work around the property unit planning allowing users to write to an intersection in a unit which is not in their possession and where they are not able to write from the user interface.

Is this normal/from always in this way?

I have a requirement that the user does not see the tree full account when loading a form, as not all accounts are relevant for all entities. That's why the missing lines are deleted. In order for a missing line become visible on the form that I've implemented a rule that allows to enter the value of the account, which then becomes visible on the form. However this same rule when it is executed by a user on a planning unit they don't possess can still change the values the user cannot be changed in the user interface because it is not owner of a planning unit.

I guess that's due to the fact that the property unit planning restrictions do not apply in essbase and the rule go directly, but I want to know if it is expected that business rules fail to honor the restrictions on ownership on the planning units.

    Agnete

Published by: Agnete on 23 August 2012 15:23

They are correct, that the calc will run everything you say it runs. If you use a business rule, it will always run the calc on what you say it is running, but you can ask a member (or take it from the form) and your statement to fix to the right so that the calc only works on the command prompt. The prompt is related to security and the user can select a member, that they do not have access. That might help with your problem.

  • Planning unit

    Hello

What is planning unit? How can we explain the process?

    Thank you
    Kumar.

    * "Planning units."

Planning units are combinations of scenario, the version and entity. Scenarios and versions are the basis of the review cycle. Entities submit data to planning for a scenario and a version. For example, a planning unit may consist of a version (best case), an entity (New York) and a (real) scenario. » +
