• Help! using WSUS and 22 sofar return changes

  I just started to use WSUS in my field.  I have AD.   On the Pro 60 or so W-7 computers in the field, 22 gives me this message "Failure Configuring Windows Updates, Revert Changes".  The 32 Bits seem to not be performed.   I have a few computers with of 2 or 3, maybe updates failed 4. There are 64. Several have 13, anyway.  WSUS shows the big red X for the affected machines.

  That's what I tried.

  I ran (KB947821) system update readiness tool, he worked for a single machine.

  I tried MS it Fix tool but didn't see any results.

  I tried selecting 1 update both to install or download and install manually. No difference.

  I removed the PC from the network thinking there was something that I myself through GP. Nothing made a difference.

  In WSUS, I chose to remove the 13 updates failed.  These seem to be those that promote return.  I know that's not the answer.  (Which will remove the updates of the machines that have been installed successfully or which depends on where I chose to remove in WSUS?)

  I read (because I have nothing better to do on a Saturday night) to try this: go to regedit > Hkey_Local_Machine > software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Setup > OOBE and change the value from 1 to 0.  Then run this command: slmgr/rearm. Finally restart.  I have not tried yet.  Any ideas what I should try? I'm worried users will wait for 45 minutes to come back and not be happy with me.

• When I copy the layers and a harvest, it changes each layer.  Why?

  Cannot operate it.  I imported a jpeg file and copied several times.  I woud want to crop a different part each and have a stack of layers indicating each part of the original jpeg.  When I select a single layer, and lock the rest the result of the harvest of the active layer is applied to all copies of the layer!  Why?  How to work around this irritating behavior?  Work with Photoshop CS on a Mac.

  Note that if you do my first suggestion or Silkrooster, there is no way to go back or change what area is the display. You must duplicate the layer and hide it in my case, or hide the Silkrooster layer, then start again. With the solution of layer mask, you can remove the link it and move the mask layer, and as a result, the area which shows. 'S called it non-destructive editing.

  It has a link to PageB in PageA, and it worked very well. But when I click on the link in PageB this position to relay, this method above did not find the iterator binding object, so throw exception. How is it when PageA asked directly or links to another page in the ADF, everything goes well, but when asked from a link of page non - ADF he failed on above method?

• OfficeJet Pro L7590 AIO - using ADF for scanning Photos stack

  I've seen other posts along this line, but they have not answered my question.  I want to put a stack of photos in the ADF Document (CAD) and have them automatically scanned in separate JPG files.  I have not been able to get this working. Actually, I can't get the scan function to accept any document in the ADF.  I loaded an image in the ADF and click the scan button on the L7590 only whether scan the empty dish without pulling the photo.  I got the same result when I used the HP Solution Center software.   Seems like the L7590 should be able to do this... I just can't figure how to make it work.  I really don't want to load the dish with one or several photos at once.  One of the main reasons I bought the L7590 was to replace an old scanner with flat SCSI HP autonomous because she didn't have a document feeder.

  PS - I know that the ADF works because I made copies of a document multi-page placed in the ADF.

  I solved my problem!  I think it was a pork/configuration installation/CPU issue.   I thought that my call to the HP support line a few days he's solved a unrecoverable Setup error (Error 1335 if you are interested), but given the other problems I saw, I decided to remove all the programs and re-install.  After copying the installer on my drive hard vs installation from the CD, I was able to go beyond the fatal mistake and seemed to all software installs successfully.

  Then, after you fix pork CPU issue the HP solution Center Software ran quickly and I was able to set the parameters of configuration of scanner for the first time.

  This allowed me to enter the help of scanner manual (the manual supplied with the scanner is very rudimentary) and I was able to get the correct configurations.  I then tested with 3 photos in the ADF and it worked - put each photo in its own file.  Woo Hoo!

  Thanks for your help and I hope that this thread will help others - IT IS POSSIBLE to SCAN MULTIPLE PHOTOS INTO SEPARATE FILES VIA THE ADF!

  When I try to make a copy using the automatic charger I have 3 lines that run at the bottom of the page that are not on the original.  No one knows what is the cause?  I cleaned the rollers and always get the same results.

  Do you get the lines if you place the original face down on the glass?  If so, then the scanner might have a problem.

  Do you get the lines when printing from the computer?  -If Yes, then you have a printing problem.

  Only from the ADF - open the cover and look to see if you have a rectangular thin sheet of glass on the flat and clean only.  Also take a look at the place where the book comes out under the lid to be scanned and make sure that there are no hairs or obstacles there.

  In the list of options in control panel touch control for "duplex", it has classified 2 options from which to choose:

  1 - face to face 1

  1 - face to face 2

  It seems that I need a "2-sided to 2 faces" option, correct?

  It seems that the device must be capable of 2 faces double-sided COPY and more double-sided printing.

  I tried several combinations of different settings but cannot figure it out (if it is even possible) to take a stack of documents face 2. Put them together in the ADF and the output device an identical pile of copies 2 faces.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  I see you try to double-sided copy on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw. There the duplexer to print system which allows you to print 2 sides, but does not have a duplexer built-in automatic document feeder. That's why you miss the 2 head to head 2 under the menu copy option. The two-sided to 2 in the menu copy allows you to copy documents two unique faces the printer would then print 2 sides. You must copy a page at a time and return them to make Copies in duplex.
