Legend of failure appears not

Hello

In the course of a software simulation, I created a box click I want the student click on and created a legend of failure with him. However, when you preview in a browser, it will not display the failure message. How can I get the Red failure message appear when the student clicks on the wrong place?

See you soon,.

Kevin

Figured it out... it was the 2 buttons that were blocking the student to receive the message of failure... I moved the box click above buttons in the timeline panel, and the error message now.

  • Legend of failure will not appear when 2nd click or button added to drag

    Howdy,

    CP 5.5

I have a slide of simulation generated standard training with a click box that has a legend of success and failure. Things work as usual; success or failure show where appropriate.

But I want to add a 2nd click box or button to play (view) an audio clip when you click it. However, when I add a button or a 2nd click box (without interruption, no subtitle), the legend of aforementioned failure won't show is no longer. However, the legend of success will be.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello Kaye,

    Welcome to the Adobe Forums.

When you add a click box, the entire area of the slide (unless click box is present) becomes 'Failure Caption'

I just want to check a second time, you add this 2nd click box or a button on the same blade? (Slide on which you have the 1 Click box)

If Yes, then when you have 2 box click slide 1, failure Caption in the box click on 1st will not display because 2nd click box comes before the 1st scenario (that you added 2nd click box after 1st)

So either you can use "appear after" (under timing in the property inspector) area click and show you 2nd after 1st box click click or rollover Caption lets show you Audio.

    Hope this helps

    Thank you

  • Legend of failure shows only not in reading

The legend of default does not appear for me, when I record a demo/simulation manually. I selected the failure Caption checkbox for the click on options in the box and the caption text is entered, but when you click outside the click box nothing will appear when output. It shows if I use the car to the registration option but I don't like the way it displays images in the order that I record against so I end up needing to take manual capture that presents the problem of feedback again.

It worked - thanks for the tip!

  • CP9: First legend of default does not appear

I have a question with two attempts (the new type NOT the classic quiz slide) slide. The first default legend is not displayed after clicking the button assess. After the second attempt failure legend shows up in the same way as usual. Two legends are visible in edit mode. Also see the settings below:

    CP9_Feedbackfehler.PNG

Are you talking about the slides to check knowledge? Sorry, but the text in an image can be translated by Jive: Einblenden is that "show"? Do you use the legends of failure embedded? I just checked in 9.0.0.230:

    • I created a Slide to check knowledge
    • I changed the attempts for 2 and 2 failure message (default is None)
    • I had two failure messages in the slide and change the text of the first message
    • I tested and the first message popped up on my first attempt was incorrect

You must be as careful with slides of verification of knowledge as for the slides in normal question: do not delete the embedded objects (those without a separate calendar). I see that you apply simple actions for success and after the last attempt. The action after the latest attempt will not be executed on the first attempt is unsuccessful.

You can have my answer translated using the translate down to the right. Although I understand some German, do not dare to write in German.

  • Line chart legend appears not

    Hi all

I'm working on learning Flex for potential use in my business. Of course, to the first demo, I just want everything to look great and I have a problem with the tables.

I'm feeding a chart in an external xml file. The data is displayed correctly, but I can't get the legend labels to appear. I think that my xml is incorrect, but I don't know why. What I am doing wrong?

Sure thing. You can link to the yField, like this:

    >

You will get a warning, as the liaison for that value used to detect changes, but this will work. Similarly, you could link it to any variable, perhaps that may be related.

  • Audio on the legend of failure

Using Captivate 8, on a quiz slide, there is a legend of the failure. When the legend of the failure appears it must play an audio file.

Here are the steps I did: choose the legend of failure. Then you click on the Audio menu, and then choose Import to > object.

When I look at the advanced audio management, audio object is listed as it should. However, when previewing the project, by incorrectly answering the questionnaire slide and pressing the Submit button, the legend of the failure appears but plays the audio.

Y at - it a trick to make the audio playback when appears the legend of failure?

I can confirm that this is a problem in Captivate 8 but not in Captivate 9.

But it will certainly NOT to get fixed or patched in Cp8 Cp9 now than is currently available.

  • Legend of failure with reset button

I use 8 Captivate and have built many many drag and drop scenario, where I would use custom captions of your comments.  In the custom captions of your comments, I built the button "continue".

These are the settings I use.  Of course, the way it is set up now, there endless attempts, so the default legend does not appear.  I tried to go on the road to customize my legend of failure through the object style Manager, but could not figure out how to make the button work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Legend of failure to replace the caption text

    Hello

How would I be able to achieve the following in Captivate 5:

    Location:

I have an image, a clickbox on it and a text caption requiring the learner to click the clickbox. If someone clicks on the clickbox, a legend of the failure appears.

    I'm looking for:

Currently, the legend of failure shows for the duration of the slide (3 seconds), then he disappears and returns to the text caption. However, I want the legend of failure to replace the text of the caption completely.

Can anyone advise me on what I should do?

    Thank you!!

    Hello BettinaK,

    Welcome to the Adobe forums.

You can set the timing for the legend text in its properties lets say 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, it will disappear.

Now if the user clicks the clickbox, you will get 'type text of failure here', you can click on it and set the ignition for it, like the rest of the slide.

    Here are the screenshots

Step 1 > your slide is something like this (I'm sorry to not use any image of the slide)

Step 2 > now you can set the timing for the text of the legend (click here). Here I put it for only 3 seconds, so it will disappear after 3 seconds

Step 3 > now click on 'Failure Type here text' and adjust the ignition in his properties as well

By doin this failure of Type here text appears for the duration that you want and it will take the place of the legend text

    I hope that helps!

  • several e-mail folders appearing not

    Hi all

from arrival to El Capitan, Mail poses serious trouble me (@Apple: what quality SW?) I was used to something else - before, you really mainly of good quality!). Gmail's mail fails several times a day (ok, I deleted this account), by closing and reopening the mails I have as many windows open as before but all empty. As the mail is so incredibly unstable with my old configuration entirely imported, I try everything again and import only the locally stored email.

The big question, however and the one to which I am seeking help here is that my imported mailboxes are not displayed. In other words, I try to:

    1. First variant
      1. Reset the Mail (remove containers, AddressBook recent mail, preferences, Mail folder incl. box mailbox dirs, files of envelope, etc.,...) and the mail is clean. Exit the Mail.
      2. Then, as suggested on line, I add a folder stored locally (the Apple Mail folder with several subfolders) and move my old local archive folder to this folder (which replaces this file).
      3. I open mail and allow messages to import messages (it takes between 5 and 10 minutes on my i7 2.8 GHz with 16 GB of RAM), a few thousand emails are counted.
      4. Once the process is complete, the main mail window opens, but only the folder itself, any subfolder, no email appears.
      5. = > FAILURE
      6. Note: If step 2, I do not replace the file, but rather to move the content of this folder (which replaced the two files exisitng there), Mail will be important only 4 messages instead of a few thousand. That apart, everything is the same.
    2. Second variant:
      1. Reset mail (see above)
      2. Choose file-> import.
      3. Choose the folder of old local archive
      4. Mail displays an import process and subsequently a confirmation indicating that imports will be in a folder "imported".
      5. There is no shown any folder (don't I see one in the Finder).
      6. = > FAILURE

I noticed a similar effect by trying to create local folders, apparently according to their name. For example if I try to create a folder "Archives" in "on my Mac" creation is confirmed, but the record shows ever upward.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be the reason? Thank you in advance!

    See you soon,.

    B

Please test after taking each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved.

Back up all data before making any changes.

    Step 1

If you use iCloud drive, please open the iCloud pane in system preferences. There is a marked checkbox iCloud drive, and next to that, a button labeled Options. Click this button and in the sheet that drops, that uncheck Mail if it is checked.

This e-mail box is not to be confused with those, also marked Mail, that appears when you open the iCloud preferences window. They have different effects.

    Step 2

If mail crashes or freezes immediately on launch, try the steps on this page. Sometimes a damaged on a mail server message can be deleted by logging in to the server through its web page.

    Step 3

If Mail doesn't always start, or if you are unable to take this step for any other reason, go to step 4.

There are three types of e-mail account: POP, IMAP, and Exchange. You can determine the type of each account by opening the Mail preferences window, by selecting the tab accounts and then click on account information.

Export all the mailboxes of POP in the office folder.

If you have accounts IMAP or Exchange and you don't store sent, deleted, and junk messages on the server, export these mailboxes in the same way. You can determine if the messages are on the server by selecting the mailbox behaviors tab accounts.

Also export all the mailboxes in the category on my Mac.

You do not have to export the other mailboxes, because messages are stored on the servers.

    Exit the Mail.

    Step 4

In system preferences, open accounts (OS X 10.9 or later) Internet or Mail, Contacts and calendars (OS X 10.7 or 10.8). Take notes settings for each e-mail account (all types), and then delete the accounts.

    Step 5

Quit Mail runs. In the Finder, hold down the option key and select

    Go ▹ library

in the menu bar. Move the following (some may not exist) in the folder that opens on the desktop:

    Application Support/AddressBook/MailRecents-v4.abcdmr

    Containers/com. Apple.corerecents.recentsd

    Containers/com. Apple.mail

    Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent

    Containers/com.apple.share.Mail.compose

    Mail

Note: you do not move the Mail application. You move a folder named "mail".

    Step 6

Launch of Mail. It will behave as if you have been putting in place for the first time. Go through the process of installation with a single account, using the information in step 4. Test. If Mail works now, recreate the rest of accounting (if you have several) and other parameters.

Any writing paper custom that you created may be lost. Ask for instructions if you want to keep these data.

If there is no improvement, quit Mail and put back items that you moved to the desktop, replacing the more recent who can be created in their place. Stop here and post your results.

    Step 7

If you followed step 3, import mailboxes mailbox that you exported (see article of support related to step 3 for instructions.) Generally speaking, the process takes a few minutes, but this can take hours if you have gigantic mailboxes. In this case, you will be able to speed things up temporarily by adding your file to the list of personal information protection in the Spotlight preferences pane. Remove it when Mail has finished importing.

The mailboxes that you export should automatically synchronize with the server. Once again, if the mailboxes are very large, their download may take some time, and the network performance will be slower than usual during this period.

If you skipped step 3, locate in the mail on the desktop folder a subfolder

V3/mailboxes (for OS X 10.11 or later version)

    or

V2/mailboxes (for any previous version of Mac OS X)

Import mailboxes mailbox that it contains.

Test. If Mail still work, remove items that you moved to the desktop in step 5.

Reactivate the e-mail option in the settings to iCloud by car, if you have disabled it and retest. If you weren't already the iCloud drive with Mail, there is no need to enable it now, unless you want to.

  • Problem with the HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printing. Ink system failure could not copy-

I'm having a problem on my HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printing. The following message appears, this is what came on the screen of the printer: ink system failure has not not able to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to the documentation for the printer error O.cl9a0007.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Spider! First of all welcome on the forum.

I recommend to remove all ink cartridges, disconnect the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer and then turn off the printer completely by unplugging the power cord. Then, restart your computer. Turn on the printer but leave that he disconnected from the computer. After that he ended his power over the cycle forward and reinsert the ink cartridges in the printer and make sure their seat correctly.

After you have all the cartridges in the printer correctly, then connect it to the computer. See if that fixes the problem. If not post back with no results.

    Thank you

  • Assessment of the legends of failure in Captivate 9

With regard to the registration of a new Simulation software > assessment Cap 9:

I enabled Edit > Preferences > record Modes > assessment Simulation > click boxes > failure Caption

When I record an assessment, however, it inserts failure of forms instead of legends of the failure.  It's embarrassing because I can't use ("tails") legend options that are available with legend styles to point to a very specific place on the screen.  Is to generate captions of failure instead of forms like in Cape 7 anyway?

    Thank you

The forms are much more flexible than the legends, you can even move the "tail" of the forms of the legend.

But it's your choice: for the demo mode, you can override the global setting in preferences, default values (to the CP9, default value is forms instead of legends) under record Modes. This isn't the case for the assessment that follows the global setting in preferences, default values. Legends of failure never will, however, have a tail, not as a form, and not as legend. As you choose a 'tail' to the legends version, you can also change to such a version of forms (form of replacement), even with more possibilities for the 'shape' of this form.

Preferences apply only to new simulations. If you want to convert existing slides, use the context menu, return to the text of the legend.

  • More stuck small simulation on larger project. Can't see the legends of failure

I pasted a number of smaller blades explaining how to run a process step by step on a project wide (by using a blank slide for the latter), but I do not see the legends of failure for click boxes. However, I see the "tips" popping up. Any suggestions as to why I see a kind of legend, and not the other?

I forgot, but now I see, you're on CP7, right? Any of the forms on the slide is interactive (button)?

Could you try to copy a blank slide from another project, that has a theme that do not spoil the slide blank? I suspect it has to do with this model of slides, indeed.

I still don't understand why you do simulations in another resolution. With this workflow, I understand, but you're talking about copy/paste?

  • Duration of the legend of failure in drag / move (Captivate 8)

Settings for text captions aren't going to help.

  • How to apply/generalize the same text of failure in all Failure_Caption in the project in order to avoid manually change in each legend of failure?

How to apply/generalize the same text of failure in all Failure_Caption in the project in order to avoid manually change in each legend of failure?

For example the 'wrong' text in all the legend of failure

You can set the default text that appears in all the legends of failure for the quiz via the parameters for the Quiz questions.  However, after you have made changes here that will affect quiz slides that you add AFTER that, change.  There is no way to change the text in all the legends of defect EXISTING at the same time.  You will have to select each one and replace the current text manually.  If you firmly believe that you will need to do this more than once, you might consider using a user Variable that displays as the value in the legends of the failure.  Then you can edit them while changing just the value of the user variable.

  • Insert the video on the legend of failure in training mode

    Dear all,

I'm working on a project I need to insert a video on the legend of failure in training mode in Adobe Captivate 6

In other words, I used simulation software to produce the output I want

So by default in training mode, a text caption is displayed in case of failure (when the user clicks outside the click box)

What I want to do is remove the area of failure of legend text and instead of him put out a video with extension (.mp4) [or any other format I can code what is fine for me]

Suggestions, how can I do this?

    Thank you
