• Lenovo Slim Portable USB DVD drive burner does not work

  I had previously portable Slim USB DVD burner, and it worked perfectly with a Thinkpad, I had. However, the device doesn't seem to work with my new Lenovo twist (s230u). There is absolutely no response from the computer. I checked the DVD and it works perfectly.

  This device needs a driver for it to work? I checked the Device Manager and there seems to be an 'unknown device', but WIndows is unable to find the proper drivers. I also can't seem to find anything on the Lenovo Web site. Any suggestions?

  I use the 'vision' for labview module; and try to snap a picture of the usb camera. I normally use "grab", the image is displayed; But what I need to photo, so I use 'fit', but there is just 'black screen' on the camera (usb logitech).

• How to make a Lenovo 8 Gb USB stick bootable?

  Hi all

  I hope someone can advise me.

  I purposely bought a number of 8 sticks Go Lenovo USB in order to make them bootable so that I can load quickly on new devices operaing systems. But what I can? No question.

• 2 unrecognized Lenovo A10 - 70F USB OTG tab

  Got cable USB OTG (USB to USB female-A microphone), he joined a key USB Fat32 and hooked up. Immediately detected and offered to always start ES Explorer files for USB OTG. Browsed file on the key, no problem. Then you click on remove. Fix again an hour later, the Tablet does not detect OTG. Test apps OTG confirm that there is no signal OTG.   Solved: it was a hardware malfunction... There was a contact folded into the USB port on the cable of the OTG.

  I'll send my T400 in for maintenance thanks to a messed up motherboard, but before that 2 of the 3 USB ports didn't work for awhile.

• Lenovo black screen randomly Y50-70 times

  Hi everyone I have a very strange problem with my laptop. Here's the Specs (copy-pasted from amazon because I'm lazy):

  Lenovo Y50-70 39.6 cm (15.6 Zoll UHD IPS)
  Intel Core i7-4710HQ, 3.5 GHz
  12 GB OF RAM
  Hybrid SSHD 1 TB (8GB) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860 M / 4GB

  Since I bought it (about 1 1/2 months of passes) after I installed Windows 8.1 and improved to 10 I sometimes get a black screen, no cursor as has happened repeatedly after upgrading to w10, always helped restart and everything was brilliant.

  The thing is that my screen will not turn off, it's all black, but always on (visible by the light light is always built). It started to happen very rare, perhaps after a week or so, but today I get the problem constantly with different models:

  through normal startup:

  -Start-up of the PC-> black screen

  -Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> black screen

  -Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> Windows load-> welcome-> black screen screen

  The same phenomenon occurs during Advanced Start (the small button to the left of the power button), even when I asked for a Startup Recovery. It works well is that during safe mode.

  After calling amazon (seller) and Lenovo and "help" from a friend, I decided to return to win8.1. I reinstalled the drivers, settled everything back the way I needed her, saved our day by finding our Starbound universe still exists and! No black screens no more. It seems that this unit has still some problems with the operating system most recent Microsofts then Yes, I'll wait... even though I liked 10... :/

• Lenovo USB 500 GB hard drive not Accessible?

  I recently bought a Lenovo 500 GB USB external hard drive. I kept all my back ups and video files it contains. One day I plugged the external hard drive to my laptop and do a backup of file inside and forgetfully system restore left the hard drive and my computer laptop battery for watch a movie outdoors. The evening when I went back and checked, I found my system shut down due to the discharge of the battery and when active windows had incomplete restoration and new restoration of the drive HARD has been giving a cyclic redundancy check error message. I installed a new windows 7 and I checked my Lenovo 500 GB external HARD drive, it was not accessible more and following problems were encountered

  OOhhh, there is a button ON / OFF on top of developer Options! This is the solution: If you turn it on, it has USB debugging. Sorry guys - I hope it helps for others.

  I finally fixed it, but I don't know how. I have monitired the USB with the HWINFO64 after I plugged a USB 3.0. The stick was visible in USB 2.0 and the write speed was less than 10 MB/s. After a couple of safe is ejected and plug-ins the port began to work as expected. In the future, I hope to work as usual at every time and I did not unplug the key several times in order to work.
