  I have Windows 8 installed on Lenovo G460 and it worked very well. Suddenly the last 2 days, it hit after screen Lenovo that has F2 - parameter of the Bios and F12 - boot order selection. Same F2 - Bios won't load (say incoming in Setup...) and hung out there.

  I changed a setting before I had this problem in the Compatible Bios to AHCI. I don't know if that's the problem. In order to change this back, its does not not the Bios as well.

  Yes. Possible readability of the HARD drive is the problem

  If it's the HARD drive, you can easily remove the HDD of the unit and turn on the system and try to boot in the BIOS.

  Your system without HARD drive should still be able to boot to the BIOS

  Try plugging the drive HARD back see if that fixes the problem.

• HDD problem Lenovo G460

  Bought a Lenovo G460 comes with Windows 7 Home Premium only for more than a year. Ran fine with occasional BSOD who disappeared with a soft reboot.

  However, a month ago, the laptop had a recurring problem where the hard drive light does not illuminate on start-up and the rest blank screen and does not start at the startup LENOVO screen. Commissioning is then trial and error when the laptop may or may not have the problem when it is powered. With a fortnight of warranty left, I sent my laptop to the service where the hard drive was deemed to be defective and replaced. The laptop was then returned to me with a new hard drive.

  try to remove the battery, disconnect the power supply, press the power button / stop for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.
  also, try to remove/replace, swap the RAM sticks.

  If you still don't see no any display, possible hardware problem. call lenovo support line and send it to the service.

  I have a Lenovo G460 running Windows 7. Once, I am running Windows, beautifully keyboard functions. However, I have occasional glitches when you connect to Windows 7 when it does not accept my password (1-4-5 times) and I find myself relying on Veriface to log-in.

  In addition, systematically, the keyboard does not work when I type in a guest operating system, I on applications such as VMWare Player or VirtualBox. Keystrokes are recognized, but they are always numbers. Type aaa for ex: led to 012, then abc leads to 345, and so forth when they roll back at 012 again. It's very frustrating. I tried to re - install VMWare Player, but nothing helps, since I see it on VirtualBox as well.   OK, this is something new, I have been facing since yesterday, I noticed that my computer laptop lenovo G460 has become slow when I connect my 320 gig laptop HARD drive, it's a seagate freeagent go... when I connect it and open the laptop drive on my computer, it shows that its data loading... the green bar progress you get when you play or load data from a disk or drive... the progression is extremely slow... no not facing such an issue when I connected this laptop on my desk which is much lower than on the card.

  I have the solution... When I started, the driver file (that I downloaded on the lenovo site) pilot was unzipped to c:\drivers\TPWUSB

  I have updated driver from the Device Manager, do not run Setup from the directory mentioned above. When I whent to c:\drivers\TPWUSB and after I run setup.exe, the problem has been solved after restarting.  Now everything works perfectly.

  Problem occurred because download autopilot has not finished a work as expected. After a few additional drivers downloads, I finished the work and now everything works (execet I na not find drivers for my 3100 but drivers for the 965 chipset work).

  I have a user with a 68855TU of . Using Windows 7 64 bit.

  Problem:

  When running two screens and the connection to the Terminal Server with dual screen, by dragging the mouse to the top of the computer laptop screen image on both screens will move a few inches.

  The solutions tried so far:

  Tried to lower the resolution of the screen on the client side. Issue always happened.
  Checked the driver. Through the resolution of the screen-> advanced settings, under one of the tabs there's a checkbox for 'auto-scroll function. Tried with and without this check mark without change. She was arrested, the way I found it.
  In the RDP software, checked 'Use all of my monitors for the remote session' (it was off, but all the screens seem to be used). Happened yet scrolling. It's off. Only monitor only had the connection and no scrolling.
  Also tried to change the config to display down one step in the RDP connection. Given the laptop, screen size, and no scroll arrived with this configuration.
  Tried to use only the laptop screen. No scrolling.
  Tried to use only the external display. No scrolling.
  Used the Lenovo software to check for driver updates. None found.
  Downloaded the latest driver from Lenovo. Pilot in April this year. Update the computer. Reset. Scrolling happens again.
  Tried to install the latest Intel drivers for the video chipset. To get the message that it has not yet been approved for use by the manufacturer.

  Any other ideas?
