• Update the BIOS Lenovo G505s

  Hi all!

  I have really big problems with my laptop Lenovo G505s.

  (A8 - 4500M, 4 GB ram, 7640 G + 8570 M, windows 7 Professional)

  I have about 20 to 25 frames per second in every game when my charger is plugged.

  When I plug it on, I get around 80-90 FPS boost.

  I did research in many forum and allowed for some people that they have updated the BIOS.

  I tried to update the BIOS, I found it (v3.0), but for Windows 8 and 8.1.

  Is it compatible with Windows 7?

  Can I do the damage in my laptop if I install who?

  Help, please!

  Already installed, works very well with Windows 7.

  All FPS problems seems to be missing.

  I think that I found the solution to my problem.

  Overheating began after I activated the Hyper-V technology. With Hyper-V active cpu running at its maximum.

  I disabled Hyper-V, I put the maximum cpu power to 95% and my Lenovo is cool.

  So, I think that it is not a very good idea to enable Hyper-v with Lenovo g505s.

  • I got a Lenovo G505s laptop for my Christmas and the WiFi worked perfectly at first at home, then I went to my aunt for Christmas together and my phone worked perfectly with its WiFi too.   You see any unknown device or network with an exclamation point controller in Device Manager?

  If that's the case download a driver Support.lenovo.com.

  If you have any unusual driver in Device Manager, I suggest you go to the BIOS settings

  Keep tapping F2 once you turn on the computer

  Once inside the BIOS go to the Configuration tab and see if you have Wireless - set as active.

  Press F10 to save and exit.

  again check your device manager and see if she returned, or if you have a different unit now under device Manager.

  I've got a S30 of work I upgraded successfully to Win7 64-bit Win10 64 bit. Everything works fine, EXCEPT the companion of Lenovo. Yet, I also have a Yoga S1 which raised Win8 to 10, and it works perfectly fine.

  I installed the following:

  LenovoID 1.2.1.0

  Lenovo 3.0.29.0 settings

  Lenovo 3.0.20.0 companion

  Foundation of system Lenovo 1.0.044.00 Interface

  My main problem is that the system update screen always responds with "there is a problem during the extraction of new updates. "Please try again later".

• Lenovo P780 question line in the model of lock screen

  Hi all, I have the following question: is it possible to use BitLocker and all the tools of Lenovo (when Client Security Solution tpm) security solution at the same time? I don't know a lot about the detailed technical background that is used by the TPM, so I think that data (login credentials) that are stored for a connection at the beginning of bitlocker, if chosen (I prefer this method not the alternative to usb), may be lost or overwritten by the tools of lenovo.   Looks like that is working.sad there is no driver or BIOS update.catalyst are 14.4.on lenovo driver download page 13.2.

• Lenovo Z50; questions

  I recently purchased the Lenovo Z50 - 70 (i7, GT 840 M 4 GB, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB + 8 SSD cache)

  I use it as stationary with the battery removed. I have no intention to use it with the battery in the future. Should I have the Manager of energy for anything? Four power settings ready to use it seem to only change the volume of my fan. Only with the saver of energy-mode the volume is OK. Even in the 45 degrees Celsius, the fan accelerates quite much and varies up and down annoyingly. Can't even imagine how it would sound if I used the laptop to the games... I noticed one thing though, is that the Module Windows Installer Worker Aspire sometimes closer to 30% of the processor. Then the fan accelerates really, and starts to whistle loudly. And once I tried to transfer and convert video files to my phone and windows of copyright - thing almost killed my laptop. The fan continuously at full speed, I had to cancel the transfer.

  The Lenovo so-called system update does not work with the laptop? It basically says that my phone is not taken in charge.

  I have not seen all messages from clients on the z50 anywhere. Makes me wonder someone even at - it still? Or have watched him in all the wrong places?

  Lenovo cheaped out on the WiFi cards on practically all models Ux30 and Yoga by using the card 2.4 GHz Intel Wireless-N 7260 single band. You can buy an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for $25 on Amazon, but read the forums before we do as Lenovo has this stupid white list of the BIOS on the WiFi cards, as well as some maps that are work whitelist in your laptop.
