  Here's my problem. This DV6000 I have 6 years. Recently, my battery and it seems that the loader does not load, so I don't know if it's the battery or if it is the charger or something else.

  Chances are that your current RAM is PC2-5300. You can download the utility called CPU - Z and the test by yourself...

  As stated earlier, any PC5300 DDR2 or higher will work without any problem, but not of DDR3. The stitching itself is different, so you would be detrimental to the machine by installing DDR3 in a first time.

  R60 peaks platform out to 3 GB RAM due to a chipset limitation, the BIOS will 'see' 4 GB if installed, but this last GB will remain, regardless of the operating system.

  I was able to fix my laptop.

  I thought that it must be a hardware problem, because the laptop would not run just the adapter. I disassembled the laptop and a beep on the load circuit and it showing. What I found, it was a bad MosFet at the beginning of the charging circuit. The MosFet P/N P0603BDG has shorted door to the Source.  I was able to get the part of China via Ebay for less than $5.00 total and it took a week to arrive.

  Now, the laptop charging the new battery and works very well. I could have found the bad MosFet faster if I had diagrams. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the schematics for this HP laptop? I found a manual and it helped a bit to disassemble the laptop, but he had nothing on the main map.

  I'm having a strange problem with a Tecra A6 I picked up recently at the refurb because it does not start with a battery only: it starts only when / sector is also connected, but eventually DΘmarrer on battery alone (and works fine) with the power cord removed shortly after pressing the power button. It's just on battery alone, I get no answer by pressing the power on button (so the power outlet must be set at this first stage or I don't get anything).

  Now I'm wondering if maybe it's the battery voltage? It seems that there are 2 options for this model, a 10.8 v and the other at 11.1V. With loaded Windows and Hardware Monitor reports running the battery is at 0% wear level and cool until completely (so I don't think that the battery is faulty), but it indicates that the battery is running at * 11, 1V, * but the battery installed is actually the * model 10.8v*. Could that prevent any power on only to batteries?

  More information on the model I have:
  Tecra A6-PTA60E-0EJ013EN
  CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0 Ghz
  2 GB of Ram.
