Lenovo R60 do not turn on with battery

Hello Sir,

I have laptop of lenovo thinkpad R60. A few days back, I used to get error message saying stuck key 44 when I turn on the laptop and when I press ESC it used at startup. After a few days my laptop does not run with the battery. But when I put the card connected on AC power, then my laptop is turning on.i does not work with my laptop for 2 days and when I turn on the laptop without external power, it works with the battery. Then I worked on it for 4 days with the stack and in time when I'm not working with the laptop, I used to charge the battery for 1 1/2 hour. Suddenly, I was again the same problem IE computer laptop is not turn on with the battery but light with external power. I read some of the forums and I removed my battery and pressing the power button for 50 seconds and immediately put the battery and turned on the laptop, but doesn't. Please solve my problem.

Thanking you

Hi karim,.

As ajkula66 suggested, your battery needs replacement. If you can get a spare battery to view, share and check if it works very well.

Best regards

Mithun.

  • HP Pavilion DV6000 - turn on with battery problem

    Hello

Here's my problem. This DV6000 I have 6 years. Recently, my battery and it seems that the loader does not load, so I don't know if it's the battery or if it is the charger or something else.

I have some kind of problem with the power supply if adapter. The power connector on the laptop is not very safe, so whenever I plug in the power adapter I have to play with the plug of the power adapter until I see the blue light on the laptop turned on.  At this time there the Flash to recharge the battery lights as well.

I turn on the computer and as soon as the operating system is turned on in the taskbar it shows the message "connected, load" but it will never charge the battery.

I thought maybe the battery is the problem and I bought another battery, original HP and it shows the same message but battery does not charge.

    So, my questions are:

-is the AC connector inside the laptop my problem?

-C' is the power adapter the problem?

    - or is it the battery?

I would love to give more information, but I don't know what to put here, so I hope that someone can have more knowledge about similar issues.

PS: I search on the internet but in most cases the message was plugged, NOT supported, but this isn't my case.

    Thank you

First of all you must have an identical adapter to check that if that's the problem, in most cases, the issue was with the connectors of the battery or battery controllar.

  • Satellite 2450-201 does not start with battery power

Can someone help please, I can not turn on with the battery at all. When you plug the AC, the laptop powers up without problem. And after the intitial power on, I can get to the battery without any problem. But it won't let me power up via the battery at all.
Can someone advice, is there some settings that will help or do I need a new battery?

    Hello

What about the battery charge status?
    The battery is fully charged?

Try unplugging the power adapter and remove the battery from the laptop for a several times (15-30 min) and then reconnect the battery and try to turn on the laptop.

I also think that you should check if the problem also occurs with the new power supply. Eventually, there is something wrong with the battery, and you need a new.

Sorry for these general suggestions but you know, we can only speculate about the problems.

  • Memory of Lenovo R60

    Hello

    I have a Lenovo R60 (Windows XP 32-bit) with 1 GB of RAM - Type: G9U 9462

What is the maximum RAM I can go up to? Would it not be useful to have 4 GB of RAM on a Windows XP operating system?

The support page recommends the following RAM.

    2GB PC2 - 4200 DDR2 SDRAM SODIMM

    Can I use a 5300 MB/sec instead of the 4200 MB/s above RAM?

    that is to say 2GB PC2 - 5300 DDR2 SDRAM SODIMM

In addition, go up to DDR3 instead of DDR2?

    i.e. memory SODIMM 2 GB PC3-8500 1066 Mhz DDR3

I would like to have maximum RAM and as quickly as possible. I have a video on this laptop.

    Please let me know.

Chances are that your current RAM is PC2-5300. You can download the utility called CPU - Z and the test by yourself...

As stated earlier, any PC5300 DDR2 or higher will work without any problem, but not of DDR3. The stitching itself is different, so you would be detrimental to the machine by installing DDR3 in a first time.

R60 peaks platform out to 3 GB RAM due to a chipset limitation, the BIOS will 'see' 4 GB if installed, but this last GB will remain, regardless of the operating system.

    I hope this helps.

  • Note K5 Lenovo VIBE does not detect device Bluetooth Jabra

    Hello

It's disappointing to start with. Less than 24 hours since I got my hands on the new Lenovo VIBE K5 Note.

With long journeys to work and given the connectivity bluetooth with the phone is an essential feature to have for me. It worked very well with my previous Samsung phone. However, the same bluetooth device Jabra is getting not even detected in the new Lenovo VIBE K5 Note.

Please suggest a solution as soon as possible.

Waiting for a quick solution and intervention.

    Tejas Jani

It's weird... I used many devices different bluetooth, including headphones and stereo speakers. A connected with bluetooth BMW and mercedes. Sometimes look a little longer and matching is always a concern on ANY bluetooth system.

But once it is coupled his uber fast. What rom are you on? Already point Marshmallow?

Is the problem still not solved? You reassign your jabra to sail again?

  • Laptop has 'charge battery' led flashing with charger connected, but does not turn

I am with the following problem:

    (1) my laptop won't turn. Even when it is connected to the charger. I tested 3 different Chargers work.

    (2) sometimes the light which indicates "charger plugged" does not illuminate. And when it turns on, the "battery charge" stops flashing. In this case, when I try to power on my laptop, it starts to launch upward, but in a few seconds, he turned down.

    It's a DV4-2160us.

What could happen and what could I do?

I have the same problem, I have a solution , however: the order of output power: first plug in the socket and then into the laptop, works fine for me if I have no batery, if I, it dose n t of material order, it could be useful

  • I have improved my battery life of Lenovo K3 score of 50% more with Greenify!

    Hi friends,

I have improved my battery life of Lenovo K3 score of 50% more with Greenify! It works really well. You can try it via the game shop. Don't forget to give your comments once you have started using it.

Greenify essentially stops (or strength stoppages) background running applications in an automatic way. Also, there is option to greenify or exclude some applications that you do not want to stop in the background. I recommend it to all android users.

Lenovo K3 note no need any permission to root for her. Go ahead & try it. Please share your experience with me.

Click below to install it directly on Play store:

    https://play.Google.com/store/apps/details?ID=com.oasisfeng.greenify&hl=en

But once your application is running in the background that he keeps automatically unless you lock the phone. I mean, on the basis of the request, can you greenify apps. Manager app does allow you even to the popup once notifications that you added list turn off background. Greenify App, you can still access them from notification, I mean that it will automatically stops all applications when they are not in use.

It is a clever way... good?

  • Battery is dead and the Satellite C660-15r not turn on or charge

I have a PC laptop toshiba Satellite C660-15r I've had for a year.
For these last days, I had to move the charger a little when I insert it into the laptop so he could load.

Now the battery is dead and the laptop will not turn on or charge.
It's not happened before and there is no other problems with the laptop.

Have you tried to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help first?
I mean the guarantee must be valid in order to see whether they can help somehow.

Please clarify this and send feedback.

BTW: workbook correctly on the current doesn't provide not only (removed battery)?

  • Pavilion DV7-3162nr: HP Pavilion DV7-3162nr does not turn on and the battery light flashes during charging

I was upgrading my HP DV7-3162nr for windows 10 when all of a sudden the laptop stopped working and would not turn.

The power adapter is plugged in and battery led was flashing. Now battery led does not at all depend on. When I press the Start button the laptop would try to start then turn off after about one second. However most of the time when when I press the button nothing happens.

I took out the battery and tried to immediately start the alternating current, but the laptop is like there is no power. The led near the power connector is on the AC adapter is plugged in. I checked the tension between the adapter and it is correct to about 19 volts, I even loaded to 1.5 Amps and voltage remained close to 19 volts. I tried now on the button for more than one minute with applied power (no battery or AC) and no change when I tried to start with just AC.  The battery is old, but shouldn't the laptop run on just the AC adapter with the battery installed? I do not think that windows 10 has done this, but it's a weird coincidense that he died during the upgrade.

I read about simular problems with flags of HP but nothing exactly like it.  The fact that I can not turn on the laptop with just the adapter seems to be a problem really bad.

Anyone has any ideas I can try to let me know

I was able to fix my laptop.

I thought that it must be a hardware problem, because the laptop would not run just the adapter. And the adapter was good, as I said, he had the right voltage and can support the load.  So after looking at a lot of U tube videos on how to disassemble laptops and looking for schematics on the laptop which I couldn't find. I disassembled the laptop and a beep on the load circuit and it showing. What I found, it was a bad MosFet at the beginning of the charging circuit. The MosFet P/N P0603BDG has shorted door to the Source.  I was able to get the part of China via Ebay for less than $5.00 total and it took a week to arrive.

Now, the laptop charging the new battery and works very well. I could have found the bad MosFet faster if I had diagrams. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the schematics for this HP laptop? I found a manual and it helped a bit to disassemble the laptop, but he had nothing on the main map.

This problem is now solved hope it helps someone out there.

  • Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F not illuminate, no LED light with battery cable or power supply

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-NW270F, it is quite dead. No led light, no boot, nothing. No lights with battery or power cable. I did some research:

    1. I did press the button power for 60 seconds, nothing. (Battery and cable not plugged in)

    2. I replaced the DC power jack in my research, it is said that the laptop can turn off completely if the plug or the charging circuit has problems. The motherboard looks fairly integrated, I do not see a power billing for the circuits that may be outside the MB.

    3. I plugged a different power cable, nothing.

    4. I can't find a replacement MB online which is less than $1,000.

    5. I see not all covers of breath, or a repair kit online.

Anyone, has any idea what should I do then? And for sarcastic readers of this post, yes I know. But rampage it seems such a waste... Even for a computer dead.

    Hello Alex,.

  • With this update my computer not turn off. Clears the screen, but this is all about.

This computer is the new 12-inch mac that came out this spring.when I've updated about a month ago, it would not turn off. I got tired of hold down the b power button to turn it off. I returned it for a back earlier upward. It automatically updated again and here I am in the same disorder. I think I'll just close the lid and stop worrying in this regard.

Stop your Mac. Use the power button if you wish. Now start with the SHIFT key is pressed. This will start in Safe Mode, with all extensions turned off. Safe mode is slow to start, so give it time, it checks a lot of staff. If it works fine in Safe Mode, restart normally. If it works now, you are finished.

If the problem comes back after a reboot, you have an extension conflict. Disable all extensions via system preferences. To isolate which extension is at fault, turn on an extension at the same time, restart in the meantime, until you find bad.

  • Tecra A6 does not start with battery only

    Hi all
I'm having a strange problem with a Tecra A6 I picked up recently at the refurb because it does not start with a battery only: it starts only when / sector is also connected, but eventually DΘmarrer on battery alone (and works fine) with the power cord removed shortly after pressing the power button. It's just on battery alone, I get no answer by pressing the power on button (so the power outlet must be set at this first stage or I don't get anything).

Now I'm wondering if maybe it's the battery voltage? It seems that there are 2 options for this model, a 10.8 v and the other at 11.1V. With loaded Windows and Hardware Monitor reports running the battery is at 0% wear level and cool until completely (so I don't think that the battery is faulty), but it indicates that the battery is running at * 11, 1V, * but the battery installed is actually the * model 10.8v*. Could that prevent any power on only to batteries?

More information on the model I have:
    Tecra A6-PTA60E-0EJ013EN
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0 Ghz
    2 GB of Ram.

Thanks in advance for any help on this one. Essential, I would like to know is if I have a 11.1V battery to run this model correctly (and get it) on battery alone. If the voltage makes no difference so I guess it must be a weird motherboard problem and I need bother not buy a new battery.

    > Will have to buy another battery and see if the same thing happens (I'll know then if it is the motherboard), but in the meantime if anyone can let me know if the voltage is serious I would appreciate it.

To my knowledge, the batteries for Tecra A6 should take in charge 10.8V
There's piles more strong for example 5200mAh but the voltage must be the same 10.8

  • HP 2004tx g6: laptop won't turn on with AC adapter and the battery

    Here's the thing.
    (1) the laptop doesn't work without battery when it is connected directly to the power adapter.
    (2) light, which would indicate that the laptop is connected to the power adapter is not on the power adapter is plugged in.
    (3) the battery charge light is also not on, which would indicate the battery is charging.

The battery does not load... Laptop is running on battery backup mode, but not on the AC adapter connector. I tried to connect the battery to an another compatible hp laptop (my laptop and the other test device supports same battery models). It has been very well supported on this laptop. And when he spent in my laptop, laptop was working well, but it does not load in my laptop. But the AC adapter / CC is fine too. So what is the problem? And what I can do to get it sorted?
My laptop is not guaranteed more. But I replaced battery 4 months back, if this is not a flaw with the battery or the AC adapter.
The adapter is very good, tested with another laptop.
The battery is also new and works fine
    Kind regards
