Lens corrections do not automatically meet information

In "lens corrections" when to enable corrections profile is not automatically fill the brand, model and metadata profile and I need to select the brand of lens manually before he will choose the model and profile and apply the changes. How can I fix it?

After selecting your lens and information model in the profile panel, change the drop down menu (immediately below the box) setting to say save new lens profile by default.  Therefore, that the objective should complete correctly. You may need to repeat for the other cameras/lenses.

Controls LR Vertical and Horizontal Correction lens are designed to 'fix' the perspective distortion. What is the perspective of "normal"?

LR Vertical and Horizontal controls use the focal length and camera metadata from the image file and adjust the image based on its effective focal length. A goal of 200mm if on a 1.5 crop body factor has an effective focal length of 300mm, resulting in an extreme telephoto perspective. • Support for profile lens corrections are not not in Lightroom 3.2

I installed the Lightroom 3.2 update, which includes the list of support for the 'Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II' lens.  I pulled a number of pictures with this lens (using a Canon T1i) and load them into Lightroom.  In the metadata for the photos, the lens was called "EF50mm f/1.8 II.

Within the "Lens Corrections" section of Lightroom, the option 'Auto' reports "Could not find a profile matching automatically."  I tried manually to the list of Canon lenses, and it is not on the list.

    In the folder
    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Canon/
I see a file corresponding to this objective
    Canon EOS 5 d Mark II (Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II) - RAW.lcp
but it is not with only one specific body.
I tried to manually install the update to Camera Raw 6.2, but he noted "update is not applicable."  Given the above file, I suspect that it was already installed.
In the release notes, which entered the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II lens, it does not mention that the support was limited to only a certain camera body.  Could someone help me please?  Thank you!

  • Lightroom applying not automatic correction of the lens for M43 objectives

Forums, there are many discussions about the automatic application of integrated objectives M43 profiles.  My problem is that Lightroom does not apply the profiles of builtin for a camera of the MDGs - em5 olympus (lens panasonic lumix 14-140 3.5 to 5.6, kit olympus 12-50), panasonic gh3 (objective 14-42).  I use of course raw format images, and I've tried Lightroom 4.4 and downloaded the latest Lightroom 5.7.1.  I started fresh with new catalogs and in each case, I have the same result.  When I go to develop and lens Corrections is NOT showing me the info button saying that a built-in profile has been applied.  ACTIVATE the PROFILE CORRECTIONS is NOT selected.  My study of the forums of the Info button should be there, but it's not.  Any ideas?

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think that the info was introduced with LR6.

  • Not transferred to the external editor LR3 lens corrections

When I use the new LR3 Lens Correction Panel, then transfer the image to ch (CS4) for further editing by using the command change in, the lens Corrections are not transferred, although everything else is.

    Details:

The original image is a .dng file.

He was transferred to the PS as a 16 bit TIFF.

If I EXPORT the image to TIFF 16-bit format, the image file DOES not contain the lens Corrections - it is only when I use the command "Edit in Adobe CS4" that the problem occurs.

I currently have Camera Raw v5.7, installed in the PS, who does not have lens Corrections - I do not use it and so took the time to download the latest version, but surely LR does all the treatment itself and do not use the version of PS of Camera Raw?

    Thoughts from anyone?

    See you soon

    Steve

When you use the main Editor to move the photo to the PS, it sends the raw data and settings and allows the ACR to process these data.  To do, so that you can open the file directly in the PS without first rendering of a file on disk.  There is an offset dialog box missing for 5.7 good - it should give the classic dialog box 'returned using LR vs open anyway '.    If you set the secondary editor CS4, it will always make a TIFF file.

  • Profile lens Corrections problem

I recently dug a Sigma 70-300 APO lens (supported in LR 5.3) that I have not used for some time and imported some photos taken with this lens in LR 5.3.

I have an import preset that a Lens profile verified Corrections. However, after importation, the lens correction is not applied - the 'allow the Correction profiles"box is checked, but under"Lens Profile"'Make' it shows just 'None '. If I manually select Sigma in the box ' Do ' the good lens is then applied to the boxes 'Model' and 'profile '.

As I said, the lens is supported and shows herself to be taken care of after I chose to do.

I tried to screw up the "Préférences" folder

Can anyone throw any light on this? It's kinda a drag to have to manually select something that should be automatic.

    Hi KevetS,

Unfortunately, choice of automatic objective profile does not always work with lenses non - OEM (it has to do with poorly matched metadata).  On the plus side, we anticipated this and provided a way in Lr to customize your default lens profile settings so that you must manually switch the selection process of profile for each of your images.  Here's what you do:

    1. open an image taken with the lens.

    2. go in the goal to develop Correction, then select Activate profile Corrections.

    3. choose the manufacturer suitable for the lens in the popup to Make (Sigma in this case). LR will try to automatically find the correct profile now.

    4. If Lr cannot find the right profile automatically after step 3, then choose the appropriate model for the lens in the popup of model and the desired the profile popup profile (it looks that you need not do so in this case).

    5. choose Set new lens profile by default from the context menu.

In the future, newly imported images taken with this lens should automatically get matched with the right profile. In this way, that you don't have to go through manual selection. Basically you are "teacher" Lr what metadata (ID information) is your goal, using an example image.

You can repeat these steps for each lens that has this problem.

  • Correction of the Lightroom 2015.6 goal does not automatically detect lens

    Hello

The last update seems to have removed the lens correction option activate in the lens correction Panel (there are three check boxes, now there are only two).

Now when I check activate profile corrections, or the auto default options are able to detect the lens I used to take the picture. Lightroom has said that it is "impossible to locate a matching profile automatically.

When I manually select the lens seems to apply appropriate adjustments. But I really don't want to have to select the brand and model whenever I want to apply the correction manually, especially considering I shoot with different objectives.

Is there a setting I need to change so that Lightroom automatically detects the lens used, or is this a bug?

I shoot with a Canon 6 d. When I check the EXIF data in the module library all the relevant information is still there, lens of the camera body used etc.

    Thank you

    Matt

LR CC 2015.6 using, I can import a 6 d test image I downloaded from the internet, enable Auto or defect in the purpose of plant and it detects the lens this particular test image was taken with:

If you want to download an example image that does not work for you to www.dropbox.com then others can take a look to check if there is a problem with the LR or something that happens on your computer.

  • Not available in Adobe Camera Raw 8.3 lens corrections

    Hello

I hope someone may be able to help with an embarrassing problem, I met with cab 8.3. When I open RAW images in ACR 8.3 and select optical Correction I get the message "Unable to find a corresponding lens profile automatically" by default or Auto selected as installation program. When Custom is selected, I get the message "cannot load the profile of lenses.

The strange thing is that if I open the image in Adobe Photoshop CC and select filter-> the purpose of lens profile Correction, I'm looking for is selected automatically. Interestingly, there are also a lot of other lenses profiles in the drop-down list not listed/displayed in ACR 8.3.

Does anyone know why this is and also how to document available in Photoshop CC ACR 8.3 lens corrections?

    Thank you very much

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the additional information.

DJI 8.3 camera lens support is for the camera-generated JPEG images only. Support of RAW (DNG) file for this lens is in preparation and should be available in the next version of Camera RAW.

    Kind regards

  • Is it possible to use automatic lens correction profiles in Camera RAW using Extendscript?

I developed some Javascripts use Extendscript toolkit to help me process batches of files to create videos of time, and

I would like to take advantage of the automatic lens correction profiles available in Adobe Camera RAW (I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 64-bit), but in the CameraRAWOpenOptions, there is no property describing automatic lens correction profiles.  It seems that there must be a way to automate the selection of the checkbox "Activate the profile of lens Corrections" at the opening of RAW images from the camera.  I use Canon lenses and large Adobe lens correction profiles work, so I want to use them.

I am aware of the other way to do this Photoshop using file-> automate-> Correction of the lens, but it seems to work more slowly than to use the lens correction in Camera RAW.

    Thank you.

You don't need to bother... just set your camera Raw "Defaults" to include allow Corrections lenses profile and check the Auto CA correction. Then go to the ACR contextual menu and choose Save new Camera Raw default... Note: If you have your ACR preferences to have separate by default based on the serial number of camera and ISO, you will need to save by default, separate for each camera and ISO values you use.

  • After hdr pro, LR does not have lens correction correct.

When I take pictures with my Canon ESF objective USM 15-85, LR4 acknowledges the lens and will be automatically correct. However, if I take several pictures with this lens, open to LR4 and transfer to CS5 hdr pro, when I transfer to LR4, LR4 does not list this lens as an option for the correction of the goal. I can the corrrect product hdr lens in CS5 before transfer back to LR. Which is the best solution, or I do something wrong in LR4? Should I lens correct each frame in LR4 before transfereing CS5 HDR Pro? Moreover, I had the same problem with LR3.

    DT

The goal is not listed because you reimport a file (TIFF or PSD not RAW) which could have originated or been rendered with the incorrect correction.  Another example of this is that the choice of lens correction differ between CR2 and JPEG.

I apply lens correction to HDR and panoramas before editing in CS5, but try to minimize other develop to ensure the consistency of the handover.  A relevant light bracket with panoramas, which might not be relevant to you and certainly are pedantic, strict accuracy try to avoid adjustments that are Adaptive image (in black LR4, white, highlight, shadow) to develop before yielding to the CS5 because the strength of the adjustment varies with the content of the image. that is the same setting of the cursor has a different effect in an image of sky dominated than on a dominated shadow image light.

  • Can LR5 automatically apply the lens correction profiles to import?

Rather manually using correction lenses profiles to images each time to correct an image and then synchronize with the rest, I would like LR 5 to automatically apply the correction of the objective appropriate (whether by EXIF info or "default" profile) when importer by the camera (map).  Does anyone know a way to do this?

    Herb

    Hello

Simply create the adjustments you want to apply to the set of pictures / images, i.e. the lens corrections and save them as a preset in the develop module and then apply the preset upon import. The import module allows you to select a developing 'settings' preset using the Panel applies when importing.
