I wonder how do I know the total number of licenses for Cisco Jabber Movi of TMS?

You can find the license numbers of commissioning available and used in TMS by going to:

Administrative Tools > Configuration > General settings

It is located near the bottom of half of the page, just above the keys installed option.

The candidates will be sent the link to download the jabber with the required authentication settings. The Jabber is configured with the Public Max and minimum bandwidth of 768 Kbps.

    My question is related to the downspeed of bandwidth. If we configure the bandwidth of 768 Kbps prvosining and internet bandwidth of candidates is less than 768 Kbps will be the Downspeed VCS to accroding appeal to the bandwidth of the network of candidates.

    for example if my internet connection from home is just 512 Kbps and the use of the jabber to make a call to ex90 in my office. Bandwidth settings is preconfigured in the jabber as 768 Kbps. When the call is established will be VCS downspeed the call at 512 Kbps.

    You cannot configure a minimum bandwidth, which is always the maximum bandwidth jabbervideo will use.

    The user can only set this value downward but not upward, but as the client detects a loss and stores a database

    with information on used networks recently and its quality.

    So, should not be a big problem the faster speeds available and allow the customer to do magic.

    Hi, hoping someone can shed some light on what I'm just more confused over trying to get by. Not sure if this goes in the section IP Telehpony or here...

    We have an ASA 5510 with the base license. We need to install IP phones to home teleworkers, and I understand there are Cisco IP phones that have built-in VPN clients to enable a tunnel to the central private network. IT seems that you can't use Anyconnect VPN to do this, and I am trying to establish what upgrade licenses, we must apply to the ASA, as both Anyconnect licenses that you get for free on the SAA is not enough.

    you will need 2 licenses: an Anyconnect Premium license and a permit «Anyconnect of Cisco VPN phone»

    ASA 8.2 and earlier license "for Cisco VPN Phone" has been named "for phone Linksys' it's the same.

    I have the Starter Pack of VCS Cisco implemented in my office with double network interface but I'm using only a single port network and his teeth to one ip address public static address and endpoint of c60 who is regesterd for vcs I have, and I can access my VCS on the internet via the public ip or domain in any case FULL name address I have a cisco MOVI installed in my house, I have followed cisco vcs starter pack deployment guide and I managed on the basis of rigester my movi of VCS, but when I try to call C60 endpoint I see the call is connected, but I get no audio and video.

    Please note that I am not an expert here, is there any other configuration as CLI commands that must be there please advise I only followed the Deployment Guide

    Commissioning doesn't have an internal external model like you would with TMS.

    You must therefore also a split DNS if you do not use both interfaces with commissioning.

    But when you deploy it appropriate also a model with the external ip address (with or without NAT, but always

    to connect to the external ip address) and the second interface on the network internal.

    I just use the public IP directly on the first interface and connect with all customers to the public ip address.

    (If your router supports to connect to IP using NAT outside that should also work).

    Please remember useful frequency responses and identify useful or correct answers.

    I have install X7.2 VCS, 13.2 TMSPE, I install the 'putting into service Phone Book' by 'Supply' and marked the group in access control, but the always shown video (Movi) Jabber client ' search failed: Server error "when I search contact.

    This is because your default subfield is configured with the setting "do not verify the credentials" authentication.

    Presence and directories to work properly, the default subfield must be configured as "Powers to check" (which is the safest) or "Treat as authenticated".

    5508 as the 2504 can only use licenses that have been purchased and installed or if eval has not expired. If you exceed the number of licenses of AP, then you need to activate the eval, if not expired. You will not be able to do both. The newer controllers who have the right of use license, you would be able to do.

    I have IDS 4215 (version 4) works fine for 2 years. All of a sudden I could not access the IDS4215 via the console or telnet last month. I rebooted it, but there is no change.

    Then we get the ROMMON prompt via CTRL-R. We performed procedures "Installation image of the system IDS-4215. We have installed version 5. So, we lost the old license for IDS 4215 ver 4. How can I get old license?

    It wasn't a license file in ver 4.

    Licenses were introduced in ver 5.

    Licenses are included as part of your Cisco Service for IPS maintenance contract.

    To see if you have a contract to day just go in the license of IDM configuration page and click on the button to say IDM to check cisco.com for a license.

    If she comes back with a license while your contract is up to date and everything is good.

    If she does not return with a license, then probably you don't have a Service Cisco IPS service contract for your sensor.

    Your Cisco or an authorized Cisco reseller sales Reprentative contract and request a quote for Service Cisco IPS contract for your sensor.

    Don't forget to give them the serial number of your sensor when you buy the contract so it is followed correctly in the database of contract of Cisco.

    Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond - I tried for the last hour and seek more information on the AnyConnect client for an entry level firewall - CiscoRV110W, but I'm still confused.

    To say simple things, my questions are:

    If I buy this firewall of entry-level VPN connections supports 5 + 5, can users download the AnyConnect client and connect to the VPN for free (once it is set up), or do I have to pay extra for the AnyConnect licenses? How much would that cost?

    My experience with AnyConnect has been so far limited to the end user, use it to connect to the network through the VPN at work, but now I take into account set up something similar for a small office with a few teleworkers.

    As far as I know, is not supported on devices RV Anyconnect.  If you want to use Anyconnect you must have a Firewall ASA or IOS, router IO - XE.

    According to the documentation it looks like the only VPN options for the device of RV are: quick VPN, Site to Site, and PPTP.

    Do I need Cisco AnyConnect mobile license if I establish a vpn with the ASA windows desktop using the anyconnect client?.

    It is useless to AnyConnect Mobile licenses for users who connect from a Windows desktop computer. These permits are only required for users with mobile platforms.

  • Directory of video Jabber Cisco Configuration problem

    We have a facility with

    VCS 7.2, TMS 13.2.2. and a lot of video of jabber users. TMSPE uses for commissioning and etc., TMS and VCS are configured to import users from the AD:

    VCS in AD domain, AD srvices is configured, default Zone is configured as check credentials, sub-area by default is configured as authenticated. MOVI users are configured and imported into TMS of AD - I can see them in the management of the telephone directory, Movi version 4.5, in configuration model [email protected] / * /(asb.by = local to the sip domain) is configured. With movi users group has access and permission to search for the phonebbok. The problem is that when a movi user trying to search another user - failure of the attempt to find: he gets nothing. However it is the contact searcing is connected with movi and appeared in the devices put into service. For example the EX60 ep is configured with directory - it has a full ist of users (contacts) imported from AD and created locallly.

    Can you check the TMSPE diagnoses in TMS and see if the phone book button are red.

    Also check the source directory activity in TMS and see if you see errors.

    Make sure that you perform a full synchronization with the TMS of VCS (Configuration tab, click on "Synchronize complete now")

    Also on the VCS you can actually check if the entries in the directory exists in the VCS and the users have access to them.

    Status--> Application--> TMSPE--> directories

    Let me know if you see errors about directories in MSDS.

    I ordered ASA with 50 ssl licneses.

    But due to the avialibilty of the product it shipping for me.

    I was delivered with the ASA with basic license is to say ASA - Bun - like SSL license K8.Then will take some time I was given a temporary license/activation key.

    Can someone let me know how to enable these licenses to begin work on SSL. My camera isn't in production right now.

    I will get permanent license in 3-4 weeks and still once I need it at this time here for the new license.

    Hope that the procedure would be more or less the same.

    A customer has a jabber Cisco 10.5 deployed and integrated with Active Directory.

    Every day, customers are initializing requests of sends customers jabber with phone numbers against the AD domain controller (these figures are not the contactlists - personal or company) and as there is that much more of this question in a moment the utillization of the announcement is almost 100%, which also makes the problem with the connection in outlook (is also integrated with the Cisco Jabber for windows)

    I searched the Web for tips but have not found anything.

    My questions are:

    The data for Outlook Personal AddressBook starting the Jabber questioned via Jabber Localy or domain controller?

    What is the process of starting the Jabber for Windows on the integration of directories?

    Is this a normal behavior of jabber?

    Jabber will not interview contact Outlook address book DC until a manual search is made.

    Also default contact jabber, the domain controller for the windows PC host.

    Each time that you enter at least 3 characters (default for search), jabber first find cached contacts, then outlook address book and then search the directory.

    The attached config file is BDI type ie. for MAC computers, it will not take effect in windows PC.

    Yes, you will still be able to authenticate users JabberVideo locally, 'right', you won't be able to use NTLM.
