Any ideas out there for me? Help, please!

    Hello

I had the same problem when I upgraded my TouchSmart 320-1030. I got the touch screen works in this way:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click on the touch screen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen - your driver may be different).
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

    Another option:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to display adapters to expand the list.
    4. Click the driver.
    5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the driver.

Another thing: I had to reinstall the NextWindow Voltron touchscreen. I went to HP drivers and downloads page, download the WINDOWS 7 driver, which was under pilot - Original.

  • Equium L40 - 17 M: WLan connection but the light no longer works

I recently transferred my laptop Equium L40 17 M. ROM Vista to Windows 7 64 bit and since that time my WiFi light has not worked - of ideas?

    Help!

    Hello

I guess you are not able to activate the WiFi network and therefore the wifi does not work in Windows 7.

First of all, you must make sure that the WLan card driver has been properly installed and that wireless network card has been recognized in the Device Manager.
No yellow exclamation point must be visible in the network adapters.
Here is a page with drivers WLan:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/?page=downloads

I think that your laptop support REALTEK RTL8187B WLan 802.11(B/G) card so you have to choose Realtek WLan driver.

    In addition, you should make sure that WLan is enabled;
You must switch the WLan POSITION to allow the led WLan
In addition, you have to use FN + F8 buttons to choose the wireless network adapter.

If the buttons Fn would not work, then you must install the VAP (value added package) and Flash memory card Support utility. You can choose the tools available for Satellite L500...
    I did and it worked

  • B590 - Main screen works only with Windows 10

    Hello.

I have just updated to Windows 10. The first time he start it worked fine, but now the main screen does not work. During start up I see the Lenovo logo on the main screen, after that the screen goes black. The external screen works. It seems that Windows does not detect the main screen, because the Device Manager shows only 1 screen (external)! have disconnected the external screen and I made a screenshot, then some screens are shown on the Device Manager:

    Hi spidey101.

    Thanks for responding.

It is not an arrow icon to the bottom, the icon is an icon of the Board of Directors.

In any case I just solved it. I don't know exactly how I did it. I restarted many times, I changed the resolution of the screen for all possible modes, I tested all dual screen modes (mirror, expand, only external,...), I started in safe mode,... In the end, I unplugged everything, I removed the battery, and now it works

  • CD drive does not open and the light does not work

original title: single CD player problem

The problem with my CD player seems to be unique I can't find an answer, or someone else with the same problem online.

My computer is custom built, the CD player lasted me 1.5 years no problem, not until one day I realize, it does not open and the light does not work on it, I ordered a new drive and installed that one, still does not work. so, I replaced the SATA cable which connects to the motherboard, still does not.

When I go to my computer the drive appears but when I right click > eject it says: "year error occurred while ejecting CD drive D".  It also appears in devices such as SCSI CdRom Device Manager but I am not sure if it's actually my CD player.

I also tried troubleshooting http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems and no solution.

WTFFF ideas? I really hope that its not the motherboard

There are two cables you need to connect to the drive, one for data and one for power.  You must connect both training at work.  If you only have the data cable is plugged and not cable power which would be a possible cause of the problem that you see.

"Ryanb1290" wrote in the new message: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy... *

Sorry, im just of knowledge about computer hardware.  you say that I should try a different agreement or another port to plug in?

I tried to connect on a couple different SATA ports on the motherboard.

  • Double screen of Windows 7, second screen works not properly

I recently spent professional XP to windows 7 Home premium. I had a strange dual screen (ie. a monitor and a TV), with windows 7, I got a new drive hard (Hitachi sister hard 1 TB SATAII 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache - OEM) and installed windows 7, I have no other hardrives installed. the problem is I have a work screen (the main one) and the other is blue all the time, if I move the mouse to the edge it will disappear as if the screen works but do not reappear on the second screen. This could be the cause?

  • Envy Touchsmart M6 Sleekbook screen works but is not lit

Hey guys. I went to open my laptop yesterday and the power came the keyboard lights but the screen do not have. I was trying to understand if it is a physical problem or a software problem. It turns out that, when I plugged it into another monitor with a HDMI cable, the computer is always on and I can use it. Because it is a touch screen, I tried to use the screen to browse the Internet and it still worked. So, basically, the laptop still works and the screen works (because I can browse the Internet by using a different screen and the touch screen still works), but the screen itself is not lit. This sounds like a software problem or a physical problem? What ideas you guys have to fix? Thank you

  • Alienware Aurora ALX lights does not work master of e/s part #.

I tried to get the lights on my Alienware Aurora ALX job. The only lights that works are the head alien and the flange. Work, I mean that they are white. When I Command Center, it doesn't even show fan/readings of temperature or light speeds. I think that my I/o card is bad.

I can not get something to change in Comand Center.

I tried all the solutions on the forums and nothing seems to work.

I reinstalled windows 3 times. Nothing.

I reinstalled Alienware Command Center 6 times (correct version and the different)

I tried shutting down the computer, unplug the power cord and hold the power button for 1-2 minutes thing, didn't work.

I went to reset the map using the Green rider, did not work.

I ran a diagnosis and everything seems fine, don't know if it's testing the Master Control I/O Board.

I'll order an Alienware Aurora ALX Alien FX / Master Control I/O Board, because I am sure that my i/o board is bad.

The reference is 02JXP2 and version 1.1 mine said A02

The white mark on my map of IO said A02, but it has the same part number 02JXP2 and version 1.1.

My question is can I use a Board with the same part number but it says A04?

Here is a picture of the map of IO with the A02, I want to buy a economy part number 02JXP2 and at the bottom says A04 instead, but is a version 1.1.

If anyone as any advice before ordering the card / advice to see if I can get the lights work on my computer?

    ThatOne_Gamer

I don't have the cable that connects the motherboard to the MIO card.

I'm sure that's why my ect lights do not work.

Right... If it is not connected, it cannot work.
