Lightroom 2 does not recognize my camera after Mac update

I recently performed a software update and downloaded El Capitan - version 10.11.1. Previously, when I attached my camera to my computer and turned on my camera, Lightroom that would recognize and I could easily upload it my photos. Since my software update, 'Photo' of the Mac is to open automatically when my camera is attached. I understand how to get 'Photo' opens automatically, but I don't know how to get Lightroom to recognize my camera now. When I search on Google, it seems that the recommendation is to click on "File" / "Import" / 'home camera' or something like that. However, I do not see this option in LR 2. Help, please! Thank you!

Hi tmvacek,

Please see the following if you have a Nikon camera: Lightroom and El Capitan | Mac OS 10.11

Let me know if it helps.

Kind regards

Tanuj
