  There is no easy way to layout your content as a new InDesign documents for each screen size. To be honest, it's a total waste of time.

  Create a set of articles in 1024 x 768 and use it on all devices. We will scale to fill the screen, black bands, if necessary, on the wide range of Android and Windows device screen sizes.

  You can install applications of CC and activate on two computers, just follow the same process you used to set up your laptop and log in with your Adobe ID

  Note that installing and running that LR on your desktop doesn't automatically give you access to the photos on your laptop. If your intention is to share your catalog, reply back - this is a more advanced topic, but I can give you some advice if necessary.

  Yes, you can install lightroom 5 on Windows and MAC, both (computer upto 2 on same or different MAC and Windows) with the same serial number but be sure that you have a machine at the same time to use Lightroom 5.

  You may however share the catalog by keeping it in an external hard drive. See the Catalogue LR Sync between 2 computers but not master files

  Yes.  If you go regularly to several machines, the simplest solution is to put the catalog on the external hard drive file, just open this same catalog on both machines.  The alternative is to use the import of the catalog when you return to your main computer to copy holiday photo settings in your main catalog.
