When I imported catalog year 2013 of about 45 photos of k, it worked perfectly. But when I imported catalog year 2012 35 k photos, it's the same thing!

  All the tips: 1) on how to solve this problem? and (2) if there is a way better and easier to create this main catalog of all looked at them Photos of all my catalogs?

  Okay, my starting point is that LR can contain fortunately 400000 + photos, and it's a mistake to create a 1 star and catalogue as you suggest. Instead, I would recommend that you create a master catalog of all your photos, you can then question however you want - 2 stars, or a certain keyword, or with "xyz" in the title, etc.

  If you are intent on going this way, you could try a slight change in what you have done so far. Instead of trying to import a complete catalogue and then delete photos of TSE, take the 2012 and 2014 catalogs and select only the photos 1 star. Then to Export in the catalog for these items and import the 2014-1star and 2012-1star in your new catalog. Can pass the problem images that I think are the problem.

  If this does not work, or if you follow my initial advice, you're going to need identify the image where the failure occurs. You may have a corrupted image file, and replacement of your backup can be enough to solve the problem. Alternatively, it may be a corrupted in the catalog folder, and in this case, it may be sufficient to remove the image from the catalog and import it again. You can try to select everything in the catalog of 2014 and see if you can do an export as catalog, creating a 2014 clean and delete file previews of 2014 could also get rid of a potential problem.   I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of your Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one for your Windows 7 PC. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. Uninstall all software associated with the printer to your computer.
  2. Restart your PC.

  Ironically, if I'm going by sending to the printer and then save to PDF it works!

  The application from HP for your printer is not compatible with El Capitan, so the output files incorrectly recorded.

  In the Hewlett-Packard folder move HP Scan to the trash and empty it.

  I just installed LR CC 2015.  I am trying to import my PS 12 elements catalog.  After the installation of LR, he asked if I wanted to import my catalog of items.

  The problem has been resolved.  I made changes to my catalog of PES 12, one that could have been useful.

  • deleted the catalog items that does not generate stamps for unknown reasons.  Those with a "broken" thumbnail  There were few of them.
  • Deleted the catalog items that were orphans - were found no associated file on the hard drive.  There were about 10 of them.
  • Deleted about 10 sound files from the catalog.  Not sure how they got there in the first place.
  • Updated the Visual index.  (less probably helped)
  • Ran optimize catalog
  • Ran repair (for the second time) catalog, even if the dialog box indicated that it was not necessary.

• Why Lightroom will not save the file when you use the image Capture?

  I had this same error message. I solved it when I moved the video file on the hard disk internal to the computer, and then it worked perfectly.   This could be due to a corrupted preferences file. This file can go 'funny' and is then responsible for all types of strange behavior of Lr. The repair is to replace the preferences file.

  BTW: Resettlement Lr does not replace the file prefs, since it seeks to 'survive' updates.

  This problem is usually caused by suboptimal communication between the computer and the router. The most common cause for this is a computer software firewall problem, but there are also several other possible causes:

  To view web pages of the router (and to solve problems "Cannot save settings"):

  You don't need an Internet connection. 'web Pages' of the router are integrated into the router.
  Use Internet Explorer, it usually works.
  JavaScript must be enabled.
  Use a computer that is connected to the router.
  In the non-working computer, temporarily disable your firewall software.

  Point your browser to 192.168.1.1, and then connect to your router. Your username must be left blank. Your password is "admin" (without the quotes), unless you changed it.

  If you use Zone Alarm, do a right-click on the ZA icon in the taskbar (bottom right of screen) then click on "Shutdown ZoneAlarm" and see if that solves your problem.   If you can not get anything to 192.168.1.1 then perhaps this is not the address of the router. Go to 'Start' > all programs > Accessories > command prompt.
  A black DOS window will appear. Type "ipconfig" (with no quotes), and press the Enter key. Look at the "default gateway". It is 192.168.1.1? Point your browser to the 'default gateway', can connect you to your router.

  Make sure that you select the table and not only one item when you right click-> set by default on the front panel.

  I am trying to edit the images that are on my last (filed a year ago) external hard drive using the external editor for elements/Nik Software processer.  I can do any editing in Lightroom without a problem and I can export these pictures in other locations such as a folder on the desktop or beat Cup... Treatment to enter items or Nik software is the only thing I can't do.  I don't have this problem when I deal with the pictures that are on my new external hard drive.

  Since I've done a wide change of this type with the images on the hard disk before it is not supposed that the permission is the issue.

  And yet people report permissions changes when an update of the operating system is installed and at other times too.

  I wonder if it has something to do with image editing on a number of external hard drives?

  It is a nonsense. Lightroom has no trouble to perform all actions on ares photos stored on external hard drives.
