  Double-check that you have purchased.  It sounds like it could be a 1 year subscription that is not prudent to purchase (because you can get a 1 year subscription to adobe for lr and ps for $120 us.).

  You don't need to do anything special before de - / re-setup. The catalogue, the presets and preferences are all stored.

  Simply uninstall your 3.6 and install 3.5.

• Overview of slow disk file external nas

  I've just converted our office of a XP OS to Apple running El Cap and have installed a new drive NAS netgear ethernet network.

  We currently live preview of file very slow speeds. Some large directories sit at 15 seconds to display the files. I chose to use the SMB player as it seems slightly faster, but still very slow compared to XP.

  I installed Parallels with xp on my Mac and the files appeared without delay.

  Any help or suggestion would be welcome.

  I have a lag between the AFP and SMEs, but it seems to be better with CIFS

  Adobe does not integrate or covering Dreamweaver and Lightroom. It is easy to download galleries from lightroom, but how do I integrate these galleries on my website using Dreamweaver. I confess that I use Dreamweaver 5.5, but I see nothing in later versions, making it easy to do. I would think Adobe would be in addition to that. Maybe they are, but I'm not aware of any improvements.

  The latest version 2015 5.5 on mac, broke the ability for lightroom to have the field legend selected when moving the image to the image, to use the mouse to select again the caption field whenever I have switch from one image to another, this is not a major problem but does not slow down subtitle when have to write captions for a large number of images.

  Please add your vote and detailed opinion to this bug report: 2015.5 Lightroom: don't keep the focus in Keywording boxes or title. Community customer Photoshop family. Even though Adobe has acknowledged the bug, which does not necessarily that it will be fixed in the next version.  Your vote and opinion makes it (slightly) more likely Adobe will give priority to a solution, and you will be immediately notified of updates to the question.

  I have a folder of RAW images that also contain .xmp sidecar files I am trying to import into Lightroom. Import images without any problems, but it seems that Lightroom don't know the sidecar files, since none of the metadata they contain do not appear in the catalog. I see the same behavior when I take the same files RAW/.xmp and all first run through the DNG Converter and then import the DNG in Lightroom (once again, no metadata). I tried to update the catalogue in two writing in the file as well as the reading of file but nothing I will get the metadata in the catalog. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you...

• Open the bmp files in Lightroom 3.4.1

  I have a bunch of bmp files that I made by analyzing old 35mm slides. Photoshop opens without a problem, allows me to edit and save. Lightroom don't see not (NO photos found). LR sees TIFF made from the same bmp files. Far from what LR is unable to process bmp files or (hopefully) am I missing just something basic?

  Lightroom does not support BMP files. Similarly, PNG or GIF. The only types of supported files are raw (from supported cameras), DNG, TIFF, PSD and JPEG.

  First I nowhere can I get info on Netgear ReadyNAS 202 (ext4, xfs, hfs etc.) format (or any what other NAS Netgear) nativly supported?

  Second, that it either takes care of hard disk with format XFS file system?

  For internal drives us format, so you don't have the choice of the file system.

  The XFS format is not currently supported for external USB/eSATA drives. This does not work on some firmware before 6.4.0 (not sure of 6.3.x including 200 series originally shipped with). We seek to publish an application for the small number of users affected. Currently, we expect it to be available alongside our next 6.5.0 firmware version.

  Other file systems that you mentioned are supported for external USB/eSATA drives.

  Ok. I give up; I did a factory restore as 6.4.0 is simply too unstable.

  My advice is to stay on 6.2.5 unless you, spend hours to discover why is more simple tricks that are used to work.

  My Network slow copy problem is resolved by upgrading to 6.4.1. Now it is the copy of 13Mbps on the network speed. Thanks for the help provided you me.
