  Lightroom on PC used to work properly. The problem started when you import pictures and some videos of Sony A6000. Import process hanging at the beginning. Canceled, restarted Lightroom and tried again. Still hanging on. deleting video files circumvented the problem.

  Because of a problem with Adobe cloud, my lightroom stopped the upgrade for a few months. This problem is fixed in the latest version? What version of lightroom has the fix? It is a very annoying problem. Imagine if there are a number of video files in each folder, copy them and remove them on the map would be a lot of work.

  Lightroom is suspended when you try to import photos via the import dialog.

  I installed the latest version of Lightroom CC (2015.6) for Mac, and I understand that the previous versions had a bug of import but that this has already been resolved in 2015.6.

  I was able to isolate the problem to my external HARD drive. I bought a WD disk Raid Duo lightning strike and loaded with photos.  When it is disconnected, there is no problem with the import. When connected, the importation is suspended.

  If Lightroom is trying to read all the pictures on the external HARD disk and gets overloaded? How can I solve this?

  The HARD disk is functional with the Finder and my other apps, just not Lightroom.

  I don't think I've had this problem in the latest version of LR.

  Phone support Adobe has solved my problem by changing the permissions on some files.  This solution is described in some of the other threads, I think.

  I'm having a problem with Lightroom 2015.6 constantly hanging or crashing when I go from the library module in the develop module. I have a Windows 10 machine with AMD Radeon HD 7450 graphics card and have had NO problems in the past. Nothing has changed.

  Lightroom won't let me turn off the graphics card in the Preferences tab, so I disabled it in the Device Manager and it seems to work now. Does this mean I have to buy a new graphics card just to run Lightroom?

  An answer to a similar question for mac os has suggested turning off the gpu acceleration - but I don't know what gpu acceleration is (or even a what gpu) and certainly do not have an idea on how to deeactivate it.   Please turn off the graphics processor in the Lightroom preferences.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

• Lightroom CC (version 2015.2.1) constant suspended

  I am currently trying to edit some pictures, but Lightroom is constantly hanging or crashing in the dark for 10-15 seconds before recovering. It happens every 2nd or third attempt to make a change and sitting here writing this happens every 30 seconds while it sits on the Lightroom screen on the Help menu. It does not seem to be a technical problem, watch Manager tasks, the CPU, memory and disk are difficult to be affected (compare the two screenshots below). I also tried to disable the GPU acceleration, but that has not changed anything.

  Anyone has any ideas on what could cause this problem?

• Some applications keep constantly suspended - except in safe mode

  Since a few days some apps (Lightroom, VLC, JDownloader, EtreCheck) keep suspended / beach balling right after I have started them.

  VLC has the exception that the video that you open is normal but the GUI just does not respond.

  When it is started in Safe Mode, all normal function programs.

  I have a number of things without result:

  -Recovery mode reinstall then installed Version 10.10

  -Put to upgrade to 10.11.4 (before the 10.11.4 upgrade also Chrome and the system preferences window have been affected)

  -Updated apps all affected to their latest Version.

  -Repeated of Diagnostics and HDD check. No errors.

  -Launch Agents/demons of deactivation. Tested and reactivated

  -kextstat | grep - v apple to see what remains is launched a startup. Most of them have uninstalled or disabled.

  On Mac, the disable GPU generally does nothing like it you do usually not the dizzying variety of graphics cards and drivers obsolete.   I searched the forums and have to take the following additional measures:

  -follow-up of recommendations to remove the opm.db from my local user account.  This has not fixed the problem.

  -Uninstall and reinstall all adobe products.

  -several combinations of these elements in different orders.

  Any ideas?

  I just renewed with an annual pre-paid account but I am tempted to cancel - and cancel and dispute the charge of cc, because as much as I fear, Adobe has not delivered the product that I ordered because they do not recognize my account.
