• Fails to auto correct while typing in Windows Live Mail

  OS: Windows XP SP3. E-mail client: Windows Live Mail 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.0146). OS and email client are updated according to the Update window.

  Questions:
  1. do not auto correct as you type.
  ---> Tools--> Options--> tab spelling correcting automatically common capitalization and spelling is checked then always check spelling before sending has been disabled.

  2. the spell check on this document was halted. Do you want to send anyway?
  Settings on the Spelling tab:
  Always check spelling before sending;
  Check spelling to type I (this feature works correctly).
  United-States-English is installed.

  I read that you must choose between "common capitalization automatically corrects and misspellings."
  AND "Always check spelling before sending" because they do not work at the same time. Check individually is not a same difference PC restarting after change.

  We have a few computers that run the same OS and customer as indicated above with the same question.

  Please respond if you have a resolution or even an idea how to solve this problem.

  One is not so accurate, but I was able to determine where the tab 'options' is despite the false instructions and screen shot... dunno where they got these... but I found it anyway.

  The second link is simply a link that comes from the tiny button (?) at the top right of the interface of WLM2011... almost too small to notice.

  The above is the error I get when trying to get emails with attachments. I tried to disable Norton AV for email without success. If I move the email using Yahoo ATT to Spam then the rest of my emails without attachments can be received. If I move back mail in Inbox, I get the above error again.

Any email I open that has a link, I get a similar error message with the name of a company or the link, I try to open. I have no idea how I got it or how to get rid of.   I'm trying to download the new stationery for my windows live mail.  However, each link, I select and try to download drop me to a page that explains the link that I requested was not found.

  Weird that. Also I was wondering why break them up into sections, I see the advantage is however there was also a link to download all fixed packs in a single file.

• Adding an e-mail link in my signature in Windows Live Mail

  I have a signature in my Live Mail in which I would like to have an answer email (email@***) such that when it is clicked on will open a new window of outgoing mail.  There be an easy way to achieve this.  I appreciate your help.

  To address your concerns, we suggest you to compose an HTML or rich text signature. This will allow you to put an email address that will take you to a new outgoing email once clicked. Here's how:

  1. click on e-mail message in Windows Live Mail under the home tab.
  2. type the information you want to see in your signature.
  3. click on F12 to save the file. Save the document as an HTML file.
  4. open the mail program, press Ctrl + Shift + O for Options.
  5. press on the signing tab.
  6. click on new.
  7. click on Rename , then name the signature.
  8. click on the file, then Browse.
  9. Select the HTML in your signature.
  10. put a check mark next to the signature of the AutoText if you wish.
  11. click on apply.
